SS LeadFoot got a reaction from mexiking2365 in Went to Visit Adam
This place was amazing! You can see it from the highway and it is huge! Everyone there was really nice and willing to answer any questions. Adam even took time out of his busy day to say hi. I got to watch a video shoot as well! I really can’t express how grateful I was to be able to drop in and take a tour. Went to Colorado to visit the wife’s family, but really I agreed because they were only 15 minutes away from Adam’s. I have been a huge fan of Adam’s products for years and this just solidifies that bond. It is a good thing I don’t live in Colorado or I would go broke! I would have to work there for sure. Here are a few pics that I snapped while I was there.

SS LeadFoot reacted to shane@detailedreflections in I wat to take my detailing to the next level
To do carpets you need a few things.
First...patience.
Second...tools. We use a combination of hot water extraction (something most people won’t have access to), stiff bristle brushes, soft bristle brushes, we even have brushes on our cyclo for carpets, wet/dry vac is ideal and we use a tornador tool (something no serious detailer should be without).
Third...chemicals. Adam’s makes Carpet & Upholstery cleaner which works really well. Spray it on generously and scrub. Then scrub some more. The residual moisture will be taken out by the shop vac and it’ll take time to finally dry out. APC doesn’t hurt to have on hand for really stubborn spots, but make sure to do a test spot somewhere hidden first.
Be patient. Scrub. And don’t be afraid to use product.
And if you have any embroidery, only use the soft boars hair brush.

SS LeadFoot got a reaction from mathews31 in I think I have lost it
I swear the other day on InstaGram I saw an adams product that cleans the WeatherTech floor mats. I can't find it anywhere on the site though. Is it coming soon or am I losing my mind?

SS LeadFoot reacted to ZMAN024 in Pressure Washer
Don't panic just yet. I have the MTM Hydro PF22 Foam Cannon and it is actually rated to work with pressure washers that produce between 1,100 and 5,000 PSI, with a flow rate of 1.8 to 5.3 GPM. If I'm not mistaken, the Adams Foam Cannon is made by MTM, but is a different model. I use a Greenworks GWP2200 electric pressure washer that operates at 2200 PSI with a flow rate of 1.3 GPM at it's highest, and 100 PSI with a flow rate of 2.3 GPM at its lowest. Those rates are dependent upon the nozzle that's being used. With the foam cannon attached, I have to believe it operates somewhere in the 1500-1800 PSI range, based on the orifice in the cannon. It works like a champ. The Red Adams Foam Cannon requires a minimum rating of 870 PSI at a flow rate of 1.3 GPM. Make sure the pressure washer you are considering meets this minimum requirements and you should be fine.
Edit: The ratings for the Black MTM Foam Canon from Adams are as follows: 1100 PSI with a flow rate of 1.8 GPM.

SS LeadFoot reacted to Rich in Question for my wife
Divorce your wife and get a new mother in law?
If you've already used it and your little girl didn't have a reaction to it, then I guess I wouldn't worry too much. Her lungs are already being exposed to incense on a daily basis. Kind of like cigarette smoke. It's a parent's choice what we all expose our children to. I think we've offered as much advice as we can. I know what you mean about having a grandparent watching your child. It is a big help and you don't want to offend her. I wish you luck.

SS LeadFoot reacted to Rich in Question for my wife
Never thought of Febreeze, but for your purpose, that might be better. Or my wife says use baby powder. Douse it. let it sit overnight, then vacuum it off the next day. Smells like baby. Sounds logical to me. We didn't have car seats when my kids were small. Put our son on the floor of the blazer for a 10 hour drive to Indiana when he about a year old. Don't know how kids survived then.

Yes Rich. The seat would be out of the car when sprayed. Also it would sit overnight. I wouldn't put her in the seat right after spraying.

SS LeadFoot reacted to Hupp2it in Does Odor Neutralizer Really Work
I can't...what?...that's gotta be awful. That's as bad as the guy that had angry bees in his car. Really impressive that the odor eliminator fixed that. That must have been a huge relief.

SS LeadFoot got a reaction from Zachdaniels03 in Ceramic Coating
So I have a few questions about Adam's Ceramic coating. I am thinking about doing it to a few of my cars/wheels/trim. etc. Is this the same type of stuff I see on the internet where everything just flies off the paint? Makes it seem like the car is indestructible? Does it ever come off? Does it eliminate the reason to wax or polish a car? Any information would be great!
Thanks!

SS LeadFoot reacted to Nickfire20 in Thanksgiving wash and G&G, why bother...
Good luck bro.
Just did a quick waterless wash and Brilliant Glaze in the garage, while my wife nursed our 2 month old. Gotta get it in when I can

SS LeadFoot got a reaction from ZMAN024 in Anyone else get this?
If you read all the post I said later that it doesn't bother me. I find it funny that everyone says about the same thing.
Crowvet... Yup that's when it usually happens lol

SS LeadFoot reacted to Rich in Adam's Car Cleaning Service
My six year old grandson drew this today. His two favorite things. Adam's car cleaning service on the left, next to the Hershey factory. See the car in the lower right? He drives up to the Adam's booth on the left, and then around the factory (note the sprayer with the water coming out on top). Voila! Clean car! And candy to boot. I love this kid.

Thanks for all the replies. From what I gathered OCDrifter has an amazing shop and I should cover the car cover/car with plastic from home depot. I can't believe no one picked up on thetypo that OCDrifter said: he mentioned heh details, tints windows, jack off?????? sorry couldn't resist.

I agree 100% Rich! It is crazy! I drive in dc traffic every day and it is crazy the amount of people not paying attention because of their phone. This lady wasn't on her phone, she was just stupid.

SS LeadFoot got a reaction from Greg from GA in Does Odor Neutralizer Really Work
Yes this stuff really works! I used it 2 weeks ago. I had a rat/mouse odor from the previous owner. I tried many things. I had the car shampooed 5 years ago when I bought it, that didn't work. I put the Arm and Hammer things you put in the fridge in there, that didn't work. I tried Fabreeze, that didn't work. I also tried a different odor eliminator before Adams came out with theirs. All of these things would get rid of the smell but it would eventually come back. Especially on a hot day. I Used the carpet cleaner from adams and did the entire car. Floor mats carpet in der the floor mats trunk. Then I went through it with the ON. It's been 2 weeks of rain and 90 days and still no smell. Not only no mouse smell but it still smells like ON. So yup I say it works

This is great - I need that braking wheel due to the slope on my driveway. I'd buy one of these from Adams if they sold it today. In the meantime I get by with this http://amzn.to/2rU6pQjsince it does double duty as a tall step to get stuff off of my higher shelves. Note that it has a little tray when in roll around mode. That's where all the pads and polished go when I am polishing and thats where the APC and wheel cleaner goes when I am cleaning wheels and tires.
