I would consider taping plastics and rubber. Also consider placing tape on the opposite panel overlapping the gaps to prevent product from getting inside the cracks.

Technically, you can apply and remove glaze and paint sealant instantly. Many people here, including myself, like to let sealant cure for about an hour or longer. Some overnight. I say 1 hour is good. Not sure you need to apply 2 coats, but if you want to I think it'd be safe to apply after wiping off the 1st coat.

Translation...the pool of applicants in that area is large enough that the hiring company can use their screening techniques and still hire people with the skills they are looking for. Suggestion? Smile and play the game if you think this may be an opportunity that meets your needs.

I honestly don't know for the detail team, I work on the mechanical side. I know for the most part, they pay very well.

Mind if I ask what the pay rate is. I understand it might be different here, but just curious.

ramflava got a reaction from Mariner in What do you do/ use to get Beach Sand and Dog Hair out of Carpets?
I can't remember where I learned this trick but if you have the bristle brush for a polisher, You can hang the mats and run the polisher on them to basically vibrate the sand loose. For installed upholstry, I would try using a shop vac while using the polisher w/bristle brush. You'll notice the dirt and sand tends to "jump" around. The shop vac should take it right out of the air and the rest will be on top of the carpet.

I've only used the visco a couple times. I usually have to use new products several times before I either use them right or see any major changed from the previous similar products.

Hello everyone. I'm sure many of you have heard of the St. Baldrick's Foundation for childhood cancer research. I'm currently trying to raise funds for my team and I'll be getting my head shaved on March 13 as part of the fun and charity fund raising.

I have very few actually steady customers that I detail for, but many many friends are aware of my detailing side jobs. I have a facebook page for it and I have been calling for people to contact me for washes and details. I have stated that prices are whatever they would like to donate and 100% of all money made will be donated. I'm aiming for $500. I have $100 so far.

I do this on Friday's and Saturday's on my off time. Any ideas to get more people coming? It's for a good cause!!

Thanks for any suggestions and help.

BTW, if you'd like to make a donation, follow this link:

I think knowing who in the company is doing what is part of the brand loyalty and why we love Adams.  Dylan was smart, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and very very reachable for help for us common people.  That's hard to find in a big business.

I have spent $4,500 with Adams in the last 6 months for personal use items and no way would I have spent anywhere near that if I didn't have so many questions and received so many great answers making me want to stock, try and use so many different things.

Great input friends!  Thanks for taking time to share your thoughts.   Sometimes, we make decisions that are no-brainers....then, we look back and, "WHOOPS!!!!"

For instance, bringing in the pumps for the creams, like Leather Conditioner, VRT, and the polishes.  Seems to work pretty well.  Then, we included them on the Brilliant Glaze and Metal Polish 1&2.....that, my friends, was an awful choice!

Look out for a plan to rectify that choice....

I appreciate your feedback, and thanks for keeping us on the straight and narrow!
