galaxy
Just a curiosity, conversation question...which side of the towel (long vs short, or whatever the correct terminology is) do you use and for what duties?
0 pirahnah3
I guess a side question is which towel are you referring to?
0 Beemer
I like to use the front of the towel on the front of the car and the back of the towel on the back of the car. But sometimes I switch it up just to keep things interesting. RayS, dirtymarcus, Nickfire20 and 2 others

0 galaxy
I am referring to any towel type that has the two different sides (long/short, fluffy/flat, etc); sorry. Edited January 21, 2019 by galaxy
0 pirahnah3
That is going to be a different answer for almost any task. Each towel is designed to primarily be used around specific tasks/jobs.
0 Dan@Adams
For the Green Glass Towel, I like to use the thicker side for heavier scrubbing of bug guts and so on, then the thin side for finishing with a streak-free surface. For our Ultra Plush Drying Towel, both the thick side and thin side seem to absorb water with the same effectiveness for me. I will start by drying the windshield or rear window to get some water in the towel, then I will move onto the painted surfaces with a top-down approach to drying. For sharp areas like emblems, body moldings, etc, I will use the thin side of the towel to avoid it getting caught and fraying with the thicker loop side. All of our other towels that we offer are the same thickness on each side. I hope that helps out Bscott94 and MichaelN
