I do NOT need to have Adam's provide an easier way to spend my money. Nope. Nuh uh. Not gonna download it. Wouldn't be prudent. Not at this juncture. ??

    Hi All,

After seeing a need for some flowcharts and more "processes" for overall detailing, especially Ceramic Coating and maintenance, I've developed the roadmap to Ceramic Paint Coating! Let me know what you think and how this can help you-- Also, If there are any processes you are confused by, list them here and I'll consider them for future flow charts!

Sold the TBSS in October and replaced it with a Jeep SRT8. The TBSS was fun and will be missed. I owned it for 5 years and I was pretty proud of it. It got lots of attention and thumbs up (even from Adam himself at one of the HQ clinics) but it was time to move on. The Jeep is an 09 with 70k miles. I have already added Borla S-type catback and eibach drop springs. The only bad part is the paint but it will be getting a full correction in the spring time. The H20 G&G will do for now.

SSilver07 reacted to Rich in How to clean the Wash Sponge
Been using the wash sponge since it came out, and I like it, but I was having a hard time rinsing it out and getting all of the soap, etc out of it.  I use it mostly on my wheels so it has a good bit of wheel cleaner in it.  I found myself spraying and rinsing and rinsing and spraying and still couldn't get it totally free of suds. Plus, there was black on it too from the wheels and tires that just wouldn't come out.

So today after washing the car, I asked my wife to see what she could do with it.  She grabbed the Eco APC, gave the black marks a good spray, and disappeared into the house.  Now, this thing was loaded with product and I figured she'd bring it back frustrated that she couldn't get it clean.  5 minutes later, she comes back out with a white, product free sponge!

She figured out how to rinse it.  What she did was to scrub the black marks where she sprayed the Eco APC with her fingernails.  Then she ran the sponge under running water and kept squeezing. Then she figured out to keep the sponge under the running water, long side down, and just squeeze and push down, but keep the top part squeezed as she went down so that the gunk was rinsed out the bottom as she was pushing down.  The result was a perfectly clean, soap free sponge.

Leave it to a woman to figure stuff out when it comes to cleaning.

I use dish washing soap (dawn) couple drops and run it in the sink. Just keep squeezing it until clear water runs out. As for the foam blocks, I cut them in half. They don't last very long.

    Thanks. Yours looks good too.
I leveled mine. If I didn't need all the ground clearance for all the places I've driven mine. I would have lowered it like yours.
One day I hope to make it to the headquarters and check it out.

Last week I buffed and coated my friends 08 TBSS. Took about 20 hours to complete the job with around 16 or so hours of correction. I spent 4 hours on the hood alone to get it back.

I strip washed, Clayed, 2 step w/ the new blue heavy cut compound on the hood and finished it with the orange correcting compound. Did 1 step orange correcting compound on the roof and sides. Then did the coating prep, coating, let it sit over night and boosted it the next morning.

This blue just pops and looks awesome now and the water runs right off when we washed it the first time.

Here are a couple before pics.

After Buffed with the 2 step Heavy cut and finished with Correcting polish. Yes the white specks are from rock chips. Normal in Alaska if you drive anywhere.

    With coating in the sun.

We're going to be doing some server updates to hopefully resolve all of the site crashes from the last 2 weeks or so, and we want everything to be running smoothly before the sale launches - the sales usually bring in a significant increase in web traffic and we don't want to have a broken website and cause frustration.

The sale should hopefully be up Tuesday afternoon is the latest I've heard, and all of the new items should be made available for purchase at that time

SSilver07 reacted to Dan@Adams in Now Shipping New and Improved 16OZ Spray Nozzles!
This isn't a huge new product announcement, but it's an important one that I wanted to make everyone aware of. If you haven't received an order recently, we're now shipping all 16oz spray products with an all-new spray nozzle:

The new 16oz sprayers have several improvements over the old sprayer design.

The old sprayers that we had worked well. Simple use - squeeze trigger and they sprayed, but as with everything, we always look to offer better products through testing and research!  We have been testing these new sprayers very rigorously for over 6 months now. I do believe the cost is a little bit more than the old sprayer design per unit, but it's worth it to us to give customers a better experience when using products. This new spray nozzle sprays in a much finer, more consistent mist. The spray pattern is much better at a half-trigger pull (like how most people seem to spray products when I watch them) compared to the old sprayers, but they still work excellent at a full-pull of the trigger as well. The new sprayers also atomize our thicker liquids like H2O Guard & Gloss, Tire Shine, and Wheel Cleaner better as well, again giving a more consistent spray pattern.

While the nozzle adjuster itself has the same indication symbol for stream or mist, they do still have both spray settings and two off (STOP) positions.

With our old sprayers, the spray trigger could eventually fail or snap off from too many uses; however with these new sprayers, even after hundreds and hundreds of sprays of purposely trying to break the triggers in testing, they kept going strong!

The new trigger also requires less effort to pull than the older sprayer, which can make a difference in fingers cramping up when spraying a lot in succession, like with Waterless Wash, Wheel Cleaner, etc.

These sprayers have a more natural fit to your hand, with finger grips molded into the spray trigger.

The sprayers may arrive in your shipment in two pieces. Simply take the flat portion of the stem and insert it into the bottom of the sprayer head until it snaps in place. The curved end in the above picture should go down into the bottle.

The stem of the sprayer is also slightly longer than the 16oz bottle to ensure that you get as much as possible out of the bottle before having to refill.

Lastly, we've done tests of hanging bottles upside-down at various angles and temperatures for a few days to see if they would leak, and the only leaks were the small drop or two at the end of the spray nozzle adjuster itself.

Grab a 3-pack here if you don't want to wait to try them out until your next order arrives:

    Hey everyone,

First off, I want to thank Adam's for supporting one of my favorite causes, Toys For Tots.  It's a really great reason to give.

Secondly, while I was at the get together I was absolutely floored with how willing everyone was to help.  And I don't just mean answering questions.  I pulled my Ridgeline in the back and I had multiple people helping me clay it just because they were excited to teach me how to do it correctly.  I have NEVER seen this level of commitment and customer service.  You are all absolutely incredible.

So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.  Keep doing what you do, and show the world what a real American company is like.
