I posted this on FB but I picked up some Clear Polish on one of my orders during the 15th anniversary sale. I have x-pel on my headlights and gave the polish a quick test run after finishing up the brake job on my 99 Grand Prix. I applied it by hand with a foam applicator as I was to tired to get the DA. I got pretty good results even by hand. .
A quick 50/50.
I would recommend you invest in a DA. If you are looking for a cheap DA that won't break your wallet look at the Harbor Freight one. All you need to do is get a better backing plate and good pads and you have a machine that will get you good results. Porter Cables are always cheap. There is lots of options on the market.
Congrats on the new job. The cars you listed are all nice. The new Impala LTZ's are great. GM got this one right. The new Regal's are nice as is the SS. The rumor is that the SS will be getting magnetic ride suspension. The CTS is always nice as well.
Again you can use paint correcting polish by hand to achieve the same results as what you would get with revive.
I would just do this and call it a day.
Keep it simple. Wash, clay, polish (optional) and protect. Don't over think it. You can also use the paint finishing polish by hand if you just want to do a light polish.
I have some empty bottles of APC if anyone is looking for some. 2 have the old foaming sprayers and 2 have the black sprayers. All I ask is for the requestor to cover shipping. Should not be that much since it will be via USPS.
Agree with these folks. I had these on my white camaro when it sat outside. An iron remover removed them. I don't get them anymore since the car sits in the garage now.
