TheWolf reacted to Rich in Adam's Online Car Show
Since the virus is cancelling everything, including car shows, how about an online car show here. Doesn't matter if it's a garage queen or your daily driver. Trucks, motorcycles, quads, show cars, anything goes!
Let's see what you all have!!!

TheWolf got a reaction from Nickfire20 in Adam's New Products & BOGO On Over 60 Products!
Sorry for the delayed reply. I was not involved in the development of this product, so I needed to reach out to the staff that was. Following is the response that I received:
We can’t claim that Home Surface Cleaner kills the SARS-CoV-2 / COVID-19 coronavirus. Benzalkonium chloride is effective against all sorts of germs that would end up on your countertops or in your home. The Home Surface Cleaner is a stable sanitary cleaner that we’ve had access to for years and it’s just a relevant time for it to be introduced alongside the Hand Sanitizer. Hopefully this helps explain better why we offered this chemical solution.
Frequent use of sanitary products are important no matter what time of year or what type of current events.

Thanks for the response @TheWolf. I didn’t want to grab a gallon assuming it could fight the Corona and put people’s health at risk. Sounds like a great product to keep around the house/kitchen. My wife goes crazy with other disinfectants and wipes everything with them. Only thing is she doesn’t realize that it can take the finish off of several types of surfaces. This new Adams HSC seems like a great safe alternative.

Experimented with the ceramic spray on the wife’s Beemer and was pretty impressed. Saw this sale and jumped on the full ceramic UV kit with light for the new Raptor. Thank you for the amazing deal and congrats on 20 years!

TheWolf reacted to falcaineer in BOGO Sale on Select Bottle Products
Just in case there's confusion, you need to add every bottle you want and the code will discount equal/lesser value bottles automatically. For example, if you want two bottles of DS, add them both and it'll discount one. If you add two bottle of DS and two LC, it'll discount the DS bottles only and have you pay full price for the LCs. So it's not necessarily half off.

TheWolf reacted to Rb1274 in Midnight Detail Spray
After playing with it today and using borderless towels it really does shine... almost like there is some sparkle in it? My Subaru is like a black mirror with the midnight detail spray.🤩

Nice modifications Ray! That sure is going to be nice to have all that enclosed space.

It would be a nice feature for people who have small garages or too much stuff in the garage which makes parking tight.

Seems to be some confusion on this topic:
I will get more clarification on this and report back.

Adding "AdamsForums.com" to stickers is a good idea.
The labels have had it listed for many years.

It is actually a steel building and the artists rendering is showing horizontal siding, but we prefer vertical and will go that way. The construction gives us the option to enclose the large bay if we choose to do so next year. We have priced the doors and they will run about $5,000 for the pair, installed. Each door would be a roll up, 16 wide by 14 tall and they are running $2,200 each. The large bay will also have plenty of light with ten 8 foot 5000k LED's on the ceiling and air moving with two 84" ceiling fans.
We really would have liked to have gone with Brick, but the additional $12,000 price tag put that beyond what we want to spend for now. The one thing we can do with Steel is add the Sandstone on front to match the front of the house so it has the curb appeal. I'll do all the wiring myself and will insulate the enclosed area so it can be climate controlled.
To get to a design type that we liked, we've probably looked at close to 300 different models and drawings and each of those can be customized to exactly how we want it. Now that we've in the final design stages, we're getting rather excited. We still have the end design, company selection, permits, concrete, delivery and construction, inspection and then usage. There is still a lot left to do, but the in the end this is going to be a very nice step up from using a 10' x 10' portable canopy to get out of the sun. Should I also mention that the wife is tired of her garage queen getting moved out of the garage so we can put project cars in there.

Great ideas Ray! I agree, more people need to know about this forum. I will add @Dan@Adams to this thread, as I know increasing promotion of this forum is on his list for 2020.

TheWolf reacted to RayS in Forum Awareness Campaign
@falcaineer, @TheWolf All to often we get new members that said they just found the forum or didn't know the forum existed. Between the location of the forum listing under the About section at the bottom of the products page and no other advertising awareness, it it understandable. Given how much that forum drives sales, increasing the participation would benefit the company as a whole. I very much doubt that I would have gotten into the ceramic line or purchased a Swirl Killer without the vast information and communications via the forum.
Many times the new members refer to mystery boxes and it does seem to be a place that would could build participation by including a note about the forum. Another place that could have a note about the forum is the invoices. We know they are printed and placed in every order so why not add information about Adam's and the forum on the invoice when it is printed.
Think about how many people order via Amazon and may not even realize that Adam's has a plethora of products that are not even listed on Amazon and available. Adding a few words to the invoices should be rather easy and without expense since they are printed on plain paper.
I'm sure others have ideas on ways to help promote the forum and raise awareness, so please add your thoughts.

TheWolf reacted to Liralen in Food Thread
Oh man...nothing since October? Time sure flew by...Here is a Baby Yoda cake I made, all items from scratch...the outer shell is modeling chocolate (which is made from chocolate wafers/candy melts & corn syrup), frosting/filling was a very vanilla true buttercream (not american), eyes were gelatin (so could be eaten), and cake was a golden vanilla. He was 7 or 8 layers, 8" diameter at the base, and stood about 12-15" tall (I forgot to measure his height)!
Next time I am going to make lime cake with lime curd filling & vanilla buttercream!

TheWolf got a reaction from Rich in Master Blaster vs Air Cannon
The vast majority of people who have used both a leaf blower and a dedicated car dryer like the Master Blaster would say there is no comparison, that the Master Blaster is absolutely the better tool for the job.
The only check in the "PRO" column for a leaf blower is cost.
If you use a leaf blower for other yard tasks, I would guarantee that the inside of the blower is filthy. When using a leaf blower in the yard, you are kicking up lots of dirt and debris, and this gets sucked right into the blower. If in doubt, take the leaf blower nozzle or tube off and run a hose through it into a bucket.
The other disadvantage of using a leaf blower is that it is awkward to get into tighter areas, to work the water out of the nooks and crannies. With a hose on the Master Blastern or adding a hose to the Sidekick, you can easily direct the air in any direction. Also, the rubber nozzle on these is much safer to use near your paint compared to the hard (and perhaps dirty) plastic nozzle on a leaf blower.

TheWolf got a reaction from mc2hill in How to unclog a Foam Cannon?
I use vinegar to break down the soap residue. Remove the head from the bottle and take off the pickup tube, then soak the whole head in 50% vinegar water in a small container overnight. The next day, dump the vinegar water into the foam cannon bottle, and run it through the cannon. Just make sure to spray it out into the street, not on your lawn!
