Adam's Swirl Killer | FAQ's | Discussion
NG13 replied to Dan@Adams's question in Paint Correction & Polishing
Am I the only one who is disturbed that Adams is selling an item made in China? Adams actually stopped offering the PC a while back because its country of origin changed to China for a time. Now their logo is even on this thing! Im sure the product will perform and be a seller for them but it's sort of a deal with the devil. One not so minor reason I am an Adam's customer is because they didnt do this sort of thing. Check out the video below, about 3 min in. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=jM55kroCAAs- 95 replies

Congratulations! Glad to hear everything worked out ok! Oh and awesome shirt

Dilute it 1:1 with distilled water. In an old post DVK mentioned that he tried it and wasn't impressed but recommended trying it for yourself.

I have the 15 and mini, both are very nice and compliment each other well on what they can do. I would purchase both again in a heartbeat.

Need new lights in garage
NG13 replied to Audog's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
In our new machine shop we are installing LED fixtures. I don't know much about them but can get more info from my electrician if you would like. I know the cost is more up front but compared to T5 lights the amperage draw is substantially less. In our shop T5's would have maxed out 5 circuits and the LED's are not even using up 2 circuits worth. Also check with your utility for rebates on upgrading to energy efficient lighting. A lot of places will pay the difference from std to the upgrade for energy efficiency. -
I would like to apologize to you all for misleading my PA to MT comment. I thought I put in my post that it was next day saver shipping (basicly red at ground price). I have been very busy and not stayed up on this thread and my comment (incorrect at that) has boiled everyone over so I am sorry. Rich, feel free to jack one of my threads some time!

Cleaning Off Rubber On Lower Panels
NG13 replied to scott750's question in Exterior Protection & Enhancement
Pam works if applied before hand. Then just hit it with the pressure washer and anything left should come off with some clay. -
It actually was...it came from the PA warehouse and I knew that before I placed the order... I'm in MT... Nothing is close to me lol

I got a package today from PA (I'm in MT) and I ordered it Friday afternoon.... But it was on UPS...what can brown do for you!?

2 Bucket Rinseless Wash
NG13 replied to DetailZeus's question in Washing, Drying, and Decontamination
I've done both...I can totally see why people use the bucket-o-towels method to be certain you are not contaminating your wash solution. This would be particularly beneficial if you planed to keep the leftover solution to use again. On the other hand what is the difference between a two bucket RW and a two bucket traditional wash? If you trust your rinse bucket to get the dirt out of your wash pad why not to get it out of your RW towels? -
You could also push the safety of having clear, bright headlights. Many people would be hooked by that more than the improvement in appearance.

Waterless vs Rinsless Wash
NG13 replied to Dwhite0960's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
16:1 is the recommendation to use as WW. It is not "the same" but at one point WW was going to go away and RW was to take its place so I think they are viewed as interchangeable and it is more personal preference on which you choose. -
You should strip wash before starting. Just a few ounces of APC in your wash bucket will do the trick. In a test area, 2'x2', you should use the least aggressive method first and see if that does what you want. If not step up to the next aggressive step and go over your test section again until you get it where you want. FYI, least to most aggressive would be. Revive White foam pad and white PFP Orange foam and PCP Orange microfiber pad and PCP And as always, go check out the videos, they really are a great tool and go into good detail on the steps and process.

Sample Kit Impressions
NG13 replied to JDrach's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
Absolutely is...H2O G&G should last 2-3 months. It is ok to use as your only LSP, you just have to apply more often than LPS if that is the case. Good luck with the tire shine too. It may help to watch the tire shine video on the YouTube channel to get an idea of how Adam's recommends applying it. -

paint chips............
NG13 replied to MySierra's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
I would also recommend a prep pen. See link bellow. They are great for cleaning and prepping the surface before your touch up paint. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000J18RT6/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1452911622&sr=8-1&pi=QL40&keywords=fiberglass+paint+chip+pen -
