I use a cat.  Declawed, of course. Otherwise that would be crazy.

Works a lot like a mitt.  Nice and warm in the winter.

Got a solid day in doing a full paint correction on my Camaro... PO must not of known how to wash black cars... lots of moderate swirls in the whole car.  Used all Adam's products but one.. Adam's doesn't make a soft top sealant, so had to use a competitors product.  Strip washed, clay bar, Correction Polish, Finishing Polish, LPS, Glaze followed by Buttery Wax.  Took me around 8hrs but time well spent.

To be honest, I wouldn't do anything more than wash it and wax it to protect what's left. That thing is stellar and in great condition.  Making the paint look brand new will diminish it if you ask me. I might try some Bleech White or Tilex on those whitewalls though.  But not too much so you don't crack them. Let the car stand for what it is and show it off.  That's a pretty nice barn find.

Same here, never heard of this before.VRT should clean off very easily even the next day.
Is there any chance that what you're dealing with could be something else that got on the rim?

Before rinsing try quickly re wetting the whole vehicle with your leftover soapy water and then rinse. This seems to "reactivate" the soap and make it rinse easier,
Yes H2o g&g is that good!

All it takes is a wet car coming in from the rain and parking on the next level and the water dripping off that car runs down through a joint in the floor and drips on your car,May only last a few minutes and an hour later everything's dry.The dried on minerals that the water carries on to the paint can be hard to get off.

That looks like water dripped on your car try using white vinegar before you compound because compound will remove your coating, this is easy no mJor damage looks like the sun baked it on, it's no big deal.

It looks like extremely hard water etching to me, had a black rental on one of my trips to Pocatello. It was swirled, but that isn't relevant, the hotel had a sprinkler system that go the car wet no matter where i parked and had super hard water. That thing had water spots you could feel by then end of the week.

The parking in garages comes down to water dripping on the vehicle that could have filtered down from upper levels of a garage picking up who knows what as it makes its way to your vehicle.

Just a suggestion.I shot in competition for many years and what I found to work best was to wear both plugs and muffs with a 30 NRR at the same time,Works pretty good and you can still hear whats going on around you

So part of my load was the new brilliant glaze and was dying to give it a trying with my Americana wax (huge shout out to Dan the Man) and I'm stunned on how well those products work together. First of all the add on and off process was super easy with a double polishing mf towel. I live in south Texas very very south so the temperature over here is crazy so I really didn't know what to expect on the drying process. But after letting it heal for 7 minutes each the wipe on and off was very easy. After that I applied some detail spray to get some panels that still had some polish.
