I don’t think DS will ever be replaced. I have bottles all over my house, and a few gallons. Use it for everything. When the Graphene DS came out, i was excited and loaded up. Blew thru a gallon, but now rarely use it at all.
The pink stuff is my go to

astro-jason reacted to MitchPI in Brilliant Glaze / how to use
I use it on chrome and windows to remove water spots. Does great

astro-jason reacted to shane@detailedreflections in Paint correction issue on my Harley
Sounds like a multi part metal flake. Some paints use a base color. Then clear coat. Then metal flake (or metallic). Then more clear coat.
You might have found a layer of metal flake. We did a custom painted Indian motorcycles.
Ask me how I found out about that??? Went through and created what looked like an oil spot in the paint. Ended up getting it resprayed by the artist on my dime.
You live and learn.

astro-jason got a reaction from Liralen in Fiberglass RV sides
I use 3M marine cleaner & wax to remove the oxidation, then wash and use H2O G&G. The H2O G&G is the easiest product to use on such big areas.

Got real lucky, no major damage, had to fix the fence and clean up lots of branches, no roof damage or damage to the house. We have water and electricity back on. So no more Adam's bucket brigade
I've lived in the same house since 1993 and by far this was the worst for the duration it lasted. It got real crazy in between 1 am and 330 am. with the wind and debris hitting the boards on the windows I thought for sure I was going to have more damage. If you have never been through a hurricane the noise is like nothing you've heard before between the howling wind for hours stuff hitting the house and exploding transformers, It damn near sounds like a war zone to my best description.
I'm just glad everyone is alive and well.

That was one wild ride. Living on Merritt Island, east central Florida. We got hit pretty hard no power or water is of now. I hope all the others in the Adam's family are doing good. On another note my wash buckets are coming in handy for me and my neighbors, using them to fill with well water to flush the toilets. Hey ya gotta do what ya gotta do
Stay safe

astro-jason reacted to FrozenWS6 in Weather Tech floor liners
I'll search around for that. I have B W and it works better then everything else I've tried but not well enough for my expectations.
Unfortunately these are customers mats. If they were mine I'd grow to deal with it. I use and have huskyliners in all of my trucks which are extremely easy to keep clean compared to the WT.

astro-jason got a reaction from ocdrifter in Applicators
I put mine in a freezer zip lock, have one for tire shine and one for vrt. from my experience the vrt lasts longer than the tire shine applicator. I usually get 6 to 8 months of use before replacing.

astro-jason reacted to ocdrifter in Applicators
I never wash my VRT blocks or my tire applicator, I keep both in containers and reuse, I'm testing my tire applicator to see how long it will last because my one dollar cotton sponge lasted well over a year.

What Steve said, I use H2O G+G on the plastics for sideXside and 4-Wheelers gives a nice even shine.

I did the same as Rich, But I put a drop of silicone sealant under the plastic cap to keep the moisture out.

the stuff works awesome on just about any fabric, I use it as a pre wash for stained clothes couple of squirts to remove stains then toss into the washer.

I got a 10x20 from sam's club. It takes 2 people to set it up, but it covers the whole vehicle. I stake it to the ground on one end and tie it to the garage door opening on the other, works good.

astro-jason got a reaction from Mariner in Toyota White Paint and Coating
I have a 2016 Super white Toyota Tundra also. I strip washed, clayed with waterless wash, polished with my Swirl Killer "santa got it for me" using a black pad form the other guy's, then applied Adams liquid paint sealant with a red pad from the other guy's. I didn't have any paint transfer.
I really don't think you have anything to worry about, I used medium pressure when buffing. I've done a couple of other white toyota models also and havent noticed any transfer on those either.

I use this in combination with the 10" wash pad. I split the seam on the wash pad and insert the wash mop inside of it holds tight and doesn't come off.

astro-jason got a reaction from jakerodz7 in My brief observation on new Wash and Wax
THIS^^^^^^^ is very true. I used the W&W yesterday drying was super easy, the water on the painted parts did sheet and left no spots, I dried the glass and no spots or streaking. Then about 5 hrs later it started raining and the water still beads just like before washing.
So it works as intended no stripping of the H2O G&G. That just means I'll have to buy more of the W&W.

astro-jason got a reaction from PostalTwo in Leather Conditioner Question
I clean the seats with diluted cleaner then wipe with warm water and let it sit in the sun, helps soften the leather. Then rub in the conditioner by hand usually 3 applications will do the trick. The stuff is the bomb for leather.
