Did a strip wash and then applied LPS on my daily for the winter months and topped it with some wax. I used a polisher to seal it with, that was a lot of fun!

Gave my DD a much needed cleaning. The paint is in bad shape and has been repainted at some point. Some of the car doesn't even have clear coat on it. So I always let it go longer than needed between details. It was long over due so I gave it a thorough cleaning. I also did all of it in the sun except for waxing. I did it in the shade only because I was burning up. Tire and rubber cleaner was used on the tires, and APC was used in the fenderwells. I kind of cleaned the hubcaps but wasn't too worried about them. I also used my foam cannon but forgot to take pics of that ????. Dried with GWT and detail spray. I used maybe half a spray per panel and no streaks, or spots in the direct sun!! Finally! Next was a layer of Buttery Wax and removed with single soft MF towel. Finished up with Tire Shine and Undercarriage Spray and VRT on the trim. I had also applied some H20 GG about a month ago that was for sure still there. The water basically fell off as I was washing it. Here are the results. Before and then after.

This was my first attempt at doing this. A friend of mine that is a detailer basically walked me through it over txt messages and this was the results. First I wet sanded with 2000 grit paper in a left to right or a back and forth motion. I probable made 20 passes this way. Next with 2000 grit I went in an up and down or north to south motion, and made another 15-20 passes that way.. Next I used 3000 grit paper and went back to the left to right method, with another 15 or so passes. After ever 5-6 pass I would clean the lens and sand paper. Trying to work clean. Next was Adam's microfiber cutting pad with correction polish. I made probably 10 passes in the usual cross hatch pattern. After that I finished with a white finishing pad and finish polish from Adam's as well. Cleaned the lens again and applied LPS to protect it. Here are the results and you'll have to excuse my country accent lol.

Black is. Ice when clean. I don't mind it being my daily. But for my sunny day car. There's no way I'd own black.

I was in a hurry to get my mothers truck done yesterday before went to a cruise here in Ky. I wanted to throw a coat of glaze on it to give it a little extra pop. I was excited to use my new red hex grip applicator as well. Finished using VRT on the tires and started to glaze....or so I thought. I started applying and done a door and half the bed before I noticed something didn't look or feel right. I thought, why does it look so gooey on the paint. I touched it with my finger and it smeared. Then it dawned on me. I slowly rotates the bottle in my hand. And I could hear music, you know the kind. The kind of horror music they used in the old horror movies when someone is about to get stabbed. As I turned the bottle I already knew what I had done. I was applying VRT to the paint. Lesson learned, never set VRT and Brilliant glaze side by side with the labels turned backwards.

So the undercarriage spray is amazing. Been on my moms truck for 2 weeks now. And it looks like I've just applied it. It's been on my TA for a month and still holding! This stuff is amazing! It's lays down so smooth and leaves a nice satin finish. The VRT is crazy good. I use it for all the trim and for tire dressing. I'm not too crazy about the actual Adams Tire Shine. Here is a pic of some work I did this morning. And don't mind the heavy swirls. I'm still learning, and will be removing those when the weather cools off later this month or next.

All Adam's products used on this detail lol. It's raining here and I'm pretty bored. So I found this old forgotten model car that needed some help. It's took all of 5 minutes, but was fun. I mixed some car shampoo and water in a squirt bottle and blasted all the dust off then washed with a MF towel and dried. Then I clayed the car and topped it off with H20 GG. You can see the difference lol. It even makes model cars shiny lol. The interior I used just an old rag and que tips along with detail spray. And here are the result.
