  1. Just noticed, but no polish this time, Sherri? 50/50 isopropyl alcohol and water also works great to remove clay (and polish) residue. Use it with the WW towels, if you have some. Using this, I dont wash the car again before PS. Just a thought.
  2. Sweet ride. Maybe drive back and forth a few feet each, enough to knock the rust off but not too much "mess things up."
  3. Dustin alluded to it, but I'll take it a step further on the clay. You will be stretching and folding, stretching and folding, etc., so the contaminants, DS, etc, will become encapsulated in the clay. No need to dry it off or anything. You'll also notice the bar will become larger over time, and that's because of all that stuff now inside. But definitely put it back in the container. If you haven't already, watch Adam's video on the claying process for some tips. And yes, please post some pics!
  4. Just to be clear, your car was blue before using the blueberry DS, right?! Either way, looks shiny!!!
  5. Ahh, newlyweds! Enjoy every minute. I do hope the phone is waterproof...or at least that Breyanna has steady hands!
  6. With those rides, lots of folks on here will be anxiously awaiting them... Follow the directions here: http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/2044-how-to-upload-a-picture-to-your-post/.
  7. Don't clay when the landscape crew next door is cleaning up with a blower, generating a TON of dust in the air. Guess where it settled?!
  8. , Cindi! Really happy to hear you like it. HGG is my favorite Adam's product to date. Any pics of your rides? What other products do you use? For your daily, I'd highly recommend you pick up some PS, using the HGG as a boost every 3-6 washes. And then, if you want to take your cars to a whole other level beyond this combo, get some BG. Simply...wow! Here's a great article on sealants, waxes, etc., as well as layering: http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/27631-faq-should-i-use-wax-or-sealant-on-my-car/
  9. I think we'd all like to see pics of the experiment, Nathan. But keep in mind, that's 2 bottles of soap in one go if using the premium size FG.
  10. Welcome to the addiction, Logan! Agreed with everything said above for products to buy. And you should also get everything you find on here: http://www.adamspolishes.com/ (You'll end up getting it all, anyway, so you might as well start accepting it! ) (Some ) kidding aside, I'd third the HGG (applied about every 3-6 washes) and grey boarderless towels, and fourth the VRT. Also, TRC, GC and APC are good stuff to have.
  11. Welcome to the addiction, Tony! Your statement above are famous last words we've all said...
  12. Welcome to the addiction, Matt! Don't be surprised if those 2 orders become 22 orders in no time. For you, I'd highly recommend the BG to really make that red pop. And the Matte Detailer to take care of the hood. But I must ask, I hope your car isn't bleeding! Of course, it could just be the red shining nicely off the fluid on the ground...
  13. Welcome to the addiction, Chris! Like Checo said, your Miata looks like it's smiling. P.S. I think I'm the "other" Chris ocdrifter (Joe) mentioned...but I could be wrong. Either way, glad to have you on here.
  14. First water, then soap. Then shake the bottle some. If you do it in the other order, you'll end up with waaaaayyyyyyy too many suds.
  15. BG, especially for a black (or red) car. It won't last very long, but man, it's some awesome stuff. You could ask experiment with layering to see what you prefer. Looks great, Joe!
  16. Hey Greg, check out this video... https://youtu.be/9JPjO-YX4JE
  17. So I'll offer a dissenting opinion, but only because the local body shop I just used did tell me something different. They have a "baker" to set the paint, similar to a factory but on a lower scale temperature wise - it looks like a metal tent that you can drive into and it surrounds the car. I talked to the owner who's been in business for 30+ years, telling him what I was going to do/use (insert Adam's plug here!). He told me because of the process his shop uses with baking the paint, I can polish, seal, etc., right away. In other words, definitely ask the shop. You may not have to wait!
  18. Can I apply the trim coating over factory applied decal(s)? Have an Xterra with a big "Nissan" sticker on the roof rack.
