  1. Closing my eyes. And dreaming. I. Love. Chocolate. Might just have to order some. And maybe give a piece or two to the family. (1:37 - "Enrobing room." Glad it's not the opposite. This is a family-friendly site.)
  2. Sweet. Nice job. The black background will add a nice constrast for more Adam's stickers, too!
  3. Agreed with the others, you can use the orange CP with the blue/white MF cutting pad. The orange/black one is no longer being sold on their site. Also, get one of the pad cleaning brushes to help lift the fibers, like what Nathan pointed out, and also to help clean them. Nice lookin' truck. Can't wait to see more pics of the finished product!
  4. Wow, Nathan, didn't think you'd actually try it. But you're only young once! How much soap was left in the canister of what you loaded? He probably had to clay it.
  5. Some tips: - If you want to stick with your Great White, or at least in the meantime, sheet/pool rinse the car before you dry. Highly effective and easy to do, it'll remove most of the standing/larger water drops on the car and one towel should then be more than enough. And ringing it out more does help, too. - I would still strip wash the car, so pick up some SW or APC (blue Dawn works, too, but many on here don't like it for fear of drying out trim...I've used it with no ill effect so it can work in a pinch). It can replace the wash you do before you start, so no added time, but added confidence you have a naked surface to start. - Polish/wax tips...watch all the videos (http://adamspolishes.com/video), twice, and read this article: http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/27631-faq-should-i-use-wax-or-sealant-on-my-car/. Then, ask any more questions you have...we have ALL been in your shoes at one point, and are here to help. - Agreed with others above, HGG is awesome, so I'd recommend you get some, along with the grey borderless towels. Makes the drying process super easy, too. Adam recommends it about every 3 washes, and I've also seen up to every 6. - For some really incredible shine, get the BG (and red or yellow hex grip applicator). It's not designed for extra long, or really much of any, protection, but man, it'll look great on that color! -And yes, correct order in you 12 July post. Good luck! Looking forward to more pics.
  6. Great to have you along for the shine, Greg! Nice ride. Looks like fun. But I think something in your engine sprung a leak!
  7. Welcome, Roger! Those words could be a slogan for this forum. It also won't be the last time you say or think them. But it'll be a blast, so enjoy!
  8. Great to have you along for the shine, Jordan!
  9. Welcome to the addiction, Tyler! Follow this link for instructions (don't be surprised if they sometimes load sideways...we are all used to having to kink our necks !): http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/2044-how-to-upload-a-picture-to-your-post/
  10. Welcome, Matt! Great to have you along for the shine!
  11. The forum auto acronym adjustor strikes again - "I.P.A." (no periods) is what you meant. Just please, please DO NOT confuse isopropyl alcohol with the drinkable kind...that would be really bad.
  12. Welcome, Kevin! Start with least aggressive method first, don't polish angry...and save your pennies. You're gonna need all of them to keep up with the addiction.
  13. Welcome, Darwin! Great to have you along for the shine! Let's see some pics of that ride...
  14. Refresh it later or sign out and check back in this evening, Josh. It's possible there's no new content since you were last signed in.
  15. Welcome to the next stage of the addiction, Tom!
  16. Using the full version, check the options on the left to ensure the "By content type," "Forums," and "By time period," "New since my last visit" are checked and not one of the other options, e.g., "Past week," "Past 2 weeks," etc. That happened to me for some reason, but all is well again.
  17. Welcome to the addiction, Chris! Sincerely, Chris (that's for you, Rich We are everywhere!)
  18. Count me in for (Automotive) Goo Gone, too.
  19. I believe you meant "shelves," Nathan. Must be summer. Looking forward to final pics, Marty.
  20. Haven't tried it yet, but if it's like the old one at all, I'm sure it's great and not overpowering in any way. And about that new car smell, LC is the key!

  22. That is likely your culprit, then, yes. If you hadn't seen the video, Adam specifically says it's meant to be used with DS (~1:00 mark). He also clays with the car still wet for even more lubrication. Here's that video:https://youtu.be/D8FbkYmg2qI Adam states in his video this is not a replacement for the traditional clay bar. And in fact, it's meant more for when you do plan for a full correction. It would also really help people that detail lots of cars, speeding up the process. While to each his or her own, I'd offer these new tools are indeed meant for convenience, and when used as designed, can provide incredible benefit. But as always, if you buy and don't like them, their 110% gurantee is there for a reason. Either way, good discussion.
