  1. I have nothing to add other than I hope you're in better shape than the bike. Assuming so, hope you continue to get some good advice on correcting the issues.
  2. The proverbial question strikes the forum - Is that a black truck with white stripes, or a white truck with black stripes?
  3. Good point...well, it's there if this proves to be an oops. But I do look forward to the results, regardless. Keep us posted!
  4. SK = Swirl Killer. Newest polisher Adam's offers.
  5. You know, there just so happens to be another great place to post a summary of this experience : http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/33019-the-dont-dos-of-detailing-thread/
  6. Hmm. Thanks, Dustin. I'm only going off of Adam's demo at one of the clinics, but I've never tried Visco clay on my cars. Appreciate the warning and advice. Edit: I have clayed, just not with Visco clay yet. Good catch, Dustin...
  7. Welcome to the addiction! Nice GLI. And great color, too. Be sure to pick up some BG...it'll make that red really pop! For why, a good article to read, if you haven't already, is this one: http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/27631-faq-should-i-use-wax-or-sealant-on-my-car/
  8. We were just trying to keep you young and on your toes, Rich! But then again, your bride probably does that enough.
  9. This is one of the big things clay can help with. But I am anxious to see if others have more thoughts. Two bars does seem excessive, but maybe I'm missing something. Either way, try the new Visco clay kit...the design is made for "one pass" cleaning, so may not take as long as you think.
  10. Way to make some people happy, Stephen. Is it me, or do those items together look like a clown with spiked hair?!
  11. Beautiful. Love the wheels and red calipers.
  12. So...dried 2 cars, could've dried 3. Wants to buy "a couple more" towels. That means...carry the 1...scribble, scribble...you have 9 cars, John?! P.S. Nice testimonial. I can't wait to try my new plush towel on the next wash!
  13. Sorry to hear that. I'm sure they'll take care of you. And if they don't answer the email soon, call them. They're likely still catching up from the Fathers Day sale, plus getting ready for who know what next. A call may be faster.
  14. Nice write-up. TRC is in my Top 5 Adam's favorites. If anyone was on the fence about getting it, your comparison is definitely food for thought. Thanks for taking the time.
  15. Welcome to the addiction, William! I'd offer another thought on kits...Winter Wash kit. It has most everything you need for year round cleaning and sealing, and it's (currently) on sale. Add in the 10% forum or 15% off code/sale, and I think it's a steal.
  16. Yep. The parents/in-laws asking for grandkids yet?!
  17. And mailed Chris a bottle of BG. Looks great, Billy! Bring on more trophies.
  18. Welcome to the addiction, David! I'm just down I-25 in the Springs. And to echo Rich, definitely take a bit to head to the HQ in Lousiville. Well worth the time. Adam and his staff and second to none.
  19. Nice! But I'm afraid it's gonna take a little more than that to remove the inscription! Amen.
  20. From one dad to all the rest out there, including dads-to-be, and even if you aren't or don't plan to be one...HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!! Give the old man a call, if at all possible. Or better yet, a big ole bear hug. And if there's a strained relationship there, I pray today's the day things start to get better. So today, enjoy whatever it is that makes you happy!!! P.S. I love you, Dad.
