falcaineer got a reaction from b_pappy in Paint correction on diecast model cars!
My parents still have all of my old Matchbox/Hot Wheels in storage back home. They've been trying to get me to take them for years. Since I always took great care of them, even wrapping my favorites before putting them away when I was 21, er, 12 , and keenly ( ) only played outside with my friend's cars, I may just call my parents for that box before long. Need a project for the winter.......

falcaineer got a reaction from ocdrifter in Project Vega
Must admit I don't understand a lot about renovating cars, or really much about auto mechanics in general, but this topic has grabbed my attention. OK, I did take a class in college that I actually enjoyed and didn't sleep through, but I don't remember much . Still, I can tell it's been a lot of work (understatement, I'm sure) and you take pride in what you're doing.
Anyway, Bruce, I look forward to further progress and, eventually, the finished product!

Extremely bored since it's raining here. So I thought I'd see if I could do any hand buffing on a model car. It worked wonders! All products used were Adam's except the wax.
Single soft MF towel and my finger was used as the buffing pad. I used the correction and finishing polish. I was shocked how it came out. Topped off with Brilliant Glaze and a Liquid paste wax. Pics to follow

First one to use the ceramics on die cast wins.
I have so darn many of the things it would take me a month at least to do them all. Including die cast motors that I never took out of the displays they came in. That would be a good winter project. Great job!

Who says the Foam Gun can't compete with the Foam Canon?! Bob, you've got to tell us what tip and how much soap you used. That's A LOT of suds.

D'oh, my guess was going to be the 4 Bottle Box w/Foam. I lose. Haha.

Here's a little cart I threw together...
I also found some totes that fit the bottles nicely.

See this is what always happened in the past with this thread. People would just say look somewhere else and Adam's never branded one. I think the A logo would be cool on it. The one I have is just plain blue.
I'd buy an A logo one, I bring mine to High School football games and it always get stolen by my wife.

To answer some questions, yes you may have seen some test bucket seats in some of our videos recently. We're always looking at and evaluating possible products to add to the lineup

The heat gun has the potential to be a "Just before disaster struck I was thinking I really shouldn't be doing this!".

I got a few of these recently and look forward to trying them out. Adams can always be counted on to look for improvements! Thanks team!

HGG will give you a longer lasting protection, albeit with less "wow" factor than the BG. It does still give a pretty sweet shine, though. We have a dark grey Xterra, and it pops with the HGG. It's also easy to apply, especially since you don't need to dry the car first. Plus, it smells awesome! Another thought is add BG on top of the HGG when you really want to show off...otherwise, HGG by itself is great. One of my favorites. Now, man up!!!

falcaineer reacted to Dan@Adams in Adams on Netflix
Yep, Adam's Polishes products have been in a few episodes of both shows, as well as the Sopranos, as far as I know.
We get calls from Kingdig-It Design every so often, awesome people!
I even had a call from the set of a movie several months back that they needed supplies to detail some things, but that's all I can really say about that

Watching Shameless on Netflix and saw Adams being used! Season 2 episode 9 "Hurricane Monica". A lady is washing her semi with Adams. I got so excited when I seen it, while my wife proceeded to roll her eyes. About 18 minutes in.

That's pretty cool. Wonder if Adam's knows?
And she was washing a semi? Now wonder she has a gallon of DS at the ready...

falcaineer reacted to mhsmith0109 in Questions about steps for detailing a new car (newbie)
Just got my order today. Looks like I have a helper. I think I will try adding some APC since the pilot has some black plastic trim at the bottom. I also purchased 2 MB today so hopefully will get some good stuff to add to what I ordered. Thanks for advice. I was surprised that anyone responded.

Maybe try to turn the truck over, perhaps being upside down messes with the curing process.
