Chadley got a reaction from falcaineer in New Sticker
I need a sticker that says "Adam's Polishes Daily Driver"
No matter how clean I keep my truck it takes every day abuse so I don't to put an Adam's sticker on it. My fellow shine freaks would see it and think I'm slacking on the detail.

Chadley got a reaction from mc2hill in What Did You Wash, Shine, and or Polish Today
So after a tough day at work yesterday it was time for a little shine therapy. I faced my worst detailing fear and cleaned my engine.
It's not an excellent job - but as I say "it's good enough for the guys I date

Don't know if I'm up for this challenge but at least I can give her a good bath.
1987 Seagrave hasn't been washed in over 4 years. Here are the before pics, not sure how long this will take - Wish me luck!

Try this link, it says the blaster should have warm air as well. I have both the Sidekick and the Master Blaster revolution, great machines and 4 HP is definitely no slouch. I use the single speed on my revolution all the time.

Small world..... I live east of PA. I lived in Forks from 1977 to 1982. Way too much rain for me, but the hunting and fishing was fun.

I know Adam's customer service is awesome. I'm not complaining, I'm laughing at myself because I was truly that excited. I don't need the 15% off I would have bought it no matter what. and as small as my order was it isn't worth causing those guys the extra paperwork or credit card fees.

Chadley got a reaction from mathews31 in What Did You Wash, Shine, and or Polish Today
Yesterday I wet sanded my headlights. I had no clue what I was doing but I followed the steps from another post here on the forum.
1500 grit, 2000 grit, 3000 grit, Swirl killer with orange foam pad and correcting polish, then white foam pad with finishing polish. They are far from perfect but still 100% better

Chadley reacted to Dan@Adams in Adams has made my matte vinyl stripes a mess
Hi Joe,
I'm sorry that you're having these issues, and I understand how frustrated you feel right now. To best help troubleshoot this issue, I'll need a little more information if you don't mind:
- Make and model of the vehicle, age of the vinyl stripes?
- Are the stripes factory or aftermarket applied?
- Do you have any pictures that you can share of the affected areas?
- Did the stripes have any other issues before applying the Brilliant Glaze and VRT?
If there are now layers of uneven product, it may take something like Finishing Polish to remove extra product. I would not recommend Strip Wash or diluted APC just to be on the safe side. I've used Revive Hand Polish with a blue foam Hex Grip applicator to repair some matte black stripes on a Z06 before with good results, but it did slightly darken the stripes. They still had a matte finish with a slight amount of satin sheen to them. I've been finding recently that Ceramic Boost works great as an option for matte stripes as well. If you don't have either of these products, I can send you them on us as troubleshooting items, just send me a PM and I'll be happy to help.
Again I do apologize for the headaches. Please let me know how I can help out further.
Respectfully,
Dan@Adams

All Spoken for. Thanks for the interest.
Doing some spring cleaning and would be happy to have someone make good use out of this assortment of stuff. The PC 7424 (not XP version) was purchased many years ago when I thought I should get into detailing my own cars. It never happened. Then I discovered Adams and purchased the backing plate and 7" pads. Then it only happened a couple of times. I have since purchased a Cyclo and Swirl Killer mini and am very happy with this combination. It is now happening on a regular basis.
So, needless to say, this other stuff will never get used. I also have a few other items that are collecting dust, all in excellent, slightly used condition.
Free to a good home, just pay the shipping costs. I am in Canada, just east of Toronto, so it will likely be limited to those of us who are north of the border.
1 - slightly used PC 7424 (not XP version)
1 - Adam's Premium 6" Machine Polisher Backing Plate-For Porter Cable
2 - Adam's 7" grey foam pads. 1 brand new, 1 slightly used
2 - Adam's 7" orange foam pads. 1 brand new, 1 slightly used
2 - Adam's 7 " white foam pads. 1 brand new, 1 slightly used
1 - Adam's 7" orange microfiber pad
1 - Adam's 7" white microfiber pad
1/2 bottle Adam's paint correcting polish
1/2 bottle Adam's paint finishing polish
1 - Adams Ultimate Merino Wool Car Wash Mitt
1 - Adam's car wash wedge

Chadley reacted to Audog in New use for great white drying towels
We got a new Golden Retriever a week ago, we live near a small creek and a lake, plus it has been raining on and off for the past few days. Golden retrievers don't mind, in fact like, getting wet. However the great white drying towel does a decent job of drying the little (50 lbs) guy off. May have to get a couple more as drying turns int tug of war

I have that exact damage on the hood of my black 2006 Dodge. It showed up before I bought my swirl Killer. I still haven't been able to fix it.
