We have experience with the Dr. Color Chip system. Their paint match is spot on. We usually order a squirt and squeegee kit for clients, but we don’t apply it that way.

    We use this:

Gold Label Detailing Fine Line Fluid Writer Paint Applicator Pen | Precision Touch Up Paint | Perfect for Rock Chips and Scratch Repair | .5mm Tip Brass Construction https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N95TXM8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_.7fvEbYQTZWCR

A drop of paint and we literally fill the scratch in. Put a layer at a time. Let it cure. Another layer. And so on until it’s built up about higher than the surface of the paint. Let it cure until nice and hard and then polish it down. It’s not always perfect, but it’s an improvement and doesn’t make a mess. A heat gun helps those thin layers cure, but don’t burn the paint since they get hot.

I'm an absolute fan of Revive Hand Polish and have done entire vehicles after polishing and without polishing.  Sometimes the garage queens only need the softest of touches to bring out the luster and Revive is ideal for that, in my opinion.   The other place that I make sure every vehicle gets is Revive on the tail lights, regardless of what else I do to the vehicle.  There is something about the way Revive with a blue hand pad if they are very clean or a Orange if they have a little oxidation, and they just sparkle.

I was surprised to see a $1250 gift card for Adam's Polishes as a prize on The Price Is Right this morning!  Not sure if the fact they were giving away a Corvette Stingray during the show had anything to do with it or not,  but it was a nice surprise.

I have to agree with the above. We are 6 for 6 in car shows and Adam's definitely has played a part in our success. This is from the show we attended last November. One of the spectators walked up and was looking the car up and down before asking, "Is that special paint? The car did not come from the factory with that paint did it? I have never seen a white car with depth in the finish!" I proceeded to tell him about the great Adam's products and that he should try some on his ride.

The wrap is beneficial because we don’t have time to keep up with making it look it’s best most of the driving season. Matte doesn’t show dirty as much and if something brushes I don’t stress with a polisher fixing it.

I’ll make sure I document the coating. The wrap is being done by ACI Dynamix. They specialize in wraps and do a lot of exotic work. So I’d trust them to do it right. And I’ve had a working relationship with them for a bit, so I trust them to take the car apart as needed and assemble it.

They’re worth a follow on social media if you enjoy cars.

The benefit in keeping with orange was not having to pay extra to wrap the jams and sills to make it look correct when the doors are open. But that cost is not a dealbreaker for me.

You picked my top two choices actually. With the first being aquamarine I think. I want it to be different and it’s time for a change.

The wheels going black is mostly selfish...I hate cleaning silver wheels (even coated) and the brakes on that thing bleed brake dust like crazy even just street driving.  Black will hide some of that between washes.

No such thing as over purchasing here on this forum..its always necessary!!
All joking aside, you will  use the 16oz bottle in a few washes.
The gallon purchase really lowers the cost as compared to 16oz bottles.

I use both the MFR and LIQUID laundry soap or pods.  NEVER EVER use powder soap washing your towels.  Some granules don't dissolve and then they scratch your paint when you use the towels.  Dryer is fine to use, just no dryer sheets in the dryer, and no fabric softener in the wash either.

After winning the boss over to let me buy Adam's products at work, I cant help but share. Heres a dirty JCB telehandler that I used APC on the tires to bring them back to black. I'm heading back to hq soon to burn a hole in his card some more!

    If you like cars, go!
If you hate swirls, don’t go or wear blinders! I cringed every time one of their “cleaners” touched a car.
BMW, Mercedes, and Volvo didn’t show up. Afraid of a little snow, I guess.

The weather's been all over the place so I've only managed to knock out 3 interiors. My wrangler, wifeys explorer and my sister in laws pilot.  The pilot is waiting for a full paint correction but I managed a deep wheel clean and a wash for now. 2 out of 3 cars have leather which of course was cleaned and treated.
I played with the new compound and my mf pad on the pilot headlights and got a good result for such little work. Sun dried makeup was NO match for APC, IC and ID new almond scent!  I LOVE the in n out spray, it really rounds out the detail and gives a "like new" finish. I've had a similar product from car brite for WELL over 20 years that I use sparingly as I was scared I wouldnt find a replacement. I included a pic of cleaned and cleaned/treated leather in case you haven't picked up your leather conditioner yet!

Agreed!!!  .  Only reason i would see a need for that is trailering cars (pretty sure not many people tow hyundai’s) ...or squeezing 3 cars into a 2 car garage!

I know that if my car couldn't fit into a space near other cars and get the door opened, it wouldn't be parked there.

However, the technology sure would have been great when I used to have put cars in trailers and get them out.  More than once I had to go in or come out through a window with some of the bigger cars.  Latching the vehicles down was not a problem since the trailer had a front door, it was just getting them in and out that was the challenge.

Anybody else cringe watching the Hyundai smaht pahk commercial last night???  I couldnt be the only Adams member.!!!!
I was thinking...  Great invention....but how the heck do the other drivers get back into their cars with smashing the crap out of your door????
For those who didnt catch it...Hyundai has something called smart park (they did it with a Boston accent) ..if you find a parking spot at the mall which would be too tight to pull into and actually open up u car doors to exit....u exit ur car before parking...then hit some button and the car pulls into the space..door handle to door handle.  Except the parking spot is sooo tight that either car next to u can open their doors.
Nice looking car I might add.
I actually went online to see if it was a joke.

I was at HQ the other day after talking my boss into using Adam's products at work. I currently work at United rentals where I wash everything from a demo hammer to a 350 excavator. Anyway, in walks Adam, shakes my hand and introduces himself, and I have to admit I was a bit star struck!  Has anyone ever felt this when you got a chance to meet him or am I just a weirdo 🙃  I wanted to ask him for a job but I was a bit taken back, I mean his vids are ALWAYS on in the background while I detail so hes practically a celebrity in my book!
