Of course it will work. Honestly try not to over think this, it's still polish and it will work on any pad.
That's one of the reasons why I dont stock up on more product than I need, especially when your a weekend warrior. It just goes bad or gets updated. The time to be worried about your wallet was when you bought a bunch of extra polish, lol

It's a proven scientific fact that a detailer uses twice the normal amount of product when it's free ;)

All good now, thanks guys! Somehow I had the option clicked to view only threads I follow. I'm pretty sure that was done by the hands of my 2 yr old always playing with my phone.

Yes it is a very common problem experienced by many others.  It doesnt affect the performance of the towel initially but it just shouldnt happen considering their price point.

Depends on the dilution. At a 1:1 ratio (1 oz per gallon) it becomes a strip wash. It is LSP safe at the normal dilution of 1:4.

I wouldn't say they don't know any better. CG has some good products just like any other legit detailing company. No one company can have the best product in each category. In our opinion, Adams wins in this category. In their opinion Adams doesn't, it really as simple as that. Keep in mind Honeydew is $5 cheaper per gallon and for people who are using it in a foam cannon, product usage per wash is high (up to 6-8 ozs), that might mean something to them as well. Just IMO of course...

Interesting how much bigger the other gallon sizes are...
I surely hope we are getting a full 128 oz of Adams.

I use Adams soap for everything except for strip washes in which case I also use CG CW&G. I think you could go without the honeydew as Adams does great in a foam cannon.

Its amazing and its infinitely better than waxes or sealants.  I wouldnt put it on a garage queen because it takes the fun out of detailing but for DDs its a no brainer if you want ultimate protection from the elements and a vehicle that cleans up super easily.
No need to discuss the science behind it on this forum but there is plenty of reading to do elsewhere.

You guys are crazy if you think it's going to be a rotary....

It would be totally against Adam's MO which is to provide an idiot proof way to make your car shine with literally no chance of harming your paint.

Keep in mind they are not marketing towards pro detailers. I often have to remind myself of this before posting, yet sometimes I dont catch myself in time (sorry). No rotaries, no concentrated products, no aggressive decon products, etc. It's their business model and I can respect that. I graduated from OTC products to Adams and I'll be here waiting when they decide to graduate to a pro-line and fully support them again.

Plus rotaries are old news and just an unnecessary risk with today's pad and product combos IMO.

Dylan, I have it on my car and it is being polished off since I miss waxing.

So yeah it definitely does have its pros and cons.

But with that said, I wouldn't call it a "Flavor of the Month." Considering it's been out since 2006 and the consumer version has been out since 2009 and it's pretty much the bar to beat when it comes to coatings, I'd call it pretty much a standard now.
