I recently tried just that to see what happens. If you think of a foam gun as a poor mans foam cannon, then a pressurized sprayer is a "so poor you are looking up at poor people from third world economies" foam gun.

 

While it does get some soapy water on the car, you certainly can't mistake it for a foam gun.

I doubt you will be able to measure with enough accuracy to make a difference, and the bottle will likely hold a bit more than 16 ounces, so, just put one ounce in the bottle then fill with water. Use a measuring cup again for the water and see if you can fit 16 ounces in the bottle. If you can measure down to the drop and the bottle holds exactly 16 ounces, you have a 15:1 ratio - 15 parts water to 1 part rinseless, so in reality you will be closer to 16:1.

The washboard should be mandatory.

Both. Great wax, maybe even a smidge better than patriot, but not at that cost. Thankfully, I didn't pay for it.

Quick sealant is incredibly easy to use being an aerosol. It lasts months and is great to us before a road trip - spray it on the front end and bugs just hose off.

 

It is so good I bought a bunch of cans when I found out it would be discontinued and am down to my last 10 or 11 cans.

I would say go ahead and try it, the using your hands part, the really expensive wax part you can skip.

I've done it with bare hands. I was using a wax that is over $1,600 for an eight ounce tub because that is what they recommend (it uses your body heat to warm and melt the wax). I was able to get a thin coat with even coverage.

 

That said, I only did that the one time for the experience.

I used the valet parking at the Ritz one time. When they returned my car, it had similar marks. I couldn't clay or polish them off so I took it back to them and made them clean it. It think they said it was something like lime from the old parking structure (been a number of years and cars ago)

Your problem was actually the boxes.  You are supposed to have one of those PODS for your Adams!

Agree, the wheel cleaner is great. I also use a premix of car shampoo in a spray bottle, but switched from regular car shampoo to wash & wax, figure did try for a little protection on the wheels because Wheels aren't my favorite to clean either.

I did that with my PC when I got my Flex.

Mark off a 2x2 section, take your time and get that 2x2 section looking how you want. Then you will know what you need to do on the rest. DONT try to rush, you won't like the results if you do.

I picked up the weather tech cleaner and protector from Grabiak last year, made mine look like new.

Just remember when you are starting your first correction that you will need time. The videos you watch are never of someone's first correction. They are usually really good at it. You can do it and you will get better over time, but it will take time to find your technique.

I believe it will be May 20th. Which stinks for me and I'll have to miss after making the last 5 straight.
