George. Shine is from great paint - the prep work makes it.
There are plenty of outstanding videos here to help, but in general terms:
Wash
Clay
Polish
Protect.
There are going to be tons of ways to vary that like sealant then wax, maybe toss in glaze. You will learn what you like and do that.

Ack! You made me check. I'm down to my last 10 cans!

Mine don't have a logo at all!

Grant.
Weird twist: I brought up the Isle of Man at work today.

The foam cannon is nice, but if you are that busy, a step you can skip.
Strip, clay and polish as needed.
I'd definitely suggest liquid paint sealant for the tundra. Glaze will add a nice pop, but it is another step that takes time. With the sealant, wax is also optional. HGG is a water activated sealant, but doesn't have the longevity of PS.
As for the car wash... A wash with brushes will clean your car well and give you the added bonus of swirls! One without brushes uses harsh chemicals that will strip protection - that is where HGG can come into play.
A kit with WW and towels will help with bugs.

Thanks guys!
I think you missed my initial point.... I CAN'T help but to keep her clean on a very regular basis. So far I've probably wiped her down 10-15 times (not always full wipes) in the past month.
I'm not convinced the ceramic coating is worth the price. So I've been hitting it with G&G. I'll likely start hitting panels with the LPS
I know I get your point, my Vette is black and it gets some kind of wash (2 bucket, rinse less or waterless) every time I drive it. I can't imagine trying to take care of a daily like that!

When your car is at a shop to have a new clutch put in and you go over at night with a nice bucket full of rinse less wash...

Americana is an awesome wax, you won't be disappointed. Patriot is for show cars.

When the water doesn't fly off like I want while using my master blaster, I like to wax/seal.

Does anyone have any issues with svrt When it gets wet. As far as streaking.
If you apply too much, yes. Let it sit for a while then knock it down with a microfiber towel.
-
These are cheap brushes I use for svrt all the time:

How long does GM keep the 20% sale going?
You must take delivery by this Friday - 7/8/16.

I had that happen to several towels in the first wash, that was a few years ago and they still work just fine.

I usually apply, let it sit a while and then knock it down with a towel. I feel like that makes sure I don't have too much on there.

John, thanks for continuing to follow up here. I am curious what caused this.

Wash before use?

Sorry, but I have to say that was technique rather than a defective product.
