is it just me b/c if i was able to park my truck on the fairway of a golf course, I would have the urge to put down 2 long strips!!!!  I love golf too and would be pissed if someone did this, ha!  Kind of the same thing of going to lowes/home depot and you want to take a weed eater to the flowers section

back to the vetter, beautiful car!!

It was an honor just being invited to this event!
We are only the second registered owners of our mostly original 1964 Corvette. I've posted a few pictures of it before, but think I finally got it cleaned up enough to show.
It is the proverbial "little old lady's car", the original owner, a lady, bought it at the age of 50 and owned it until her death 2 years ago. It's a 327/300 HP, powerglide, power windows, power steering, power brakes, soft top delete car. We picked it up and started throwing the entire Adam's aresenal at it.
I kept it as original as possible, refurbishing the wheel covers, the lower rockers, and touching up the emblems. I did replate the bumpers and had the top restored, plus brought the mechanicals back up to snuff.
The original owner lived about 5 miles from where the show would be held. Well I contacted the owners daughter, and she agreed to meet us at the show.
Everthing worked perfect at the show, lengine, lights, gauges, radio, etc. They check it all. We didn't win any hardware at the show, but seeing her daughter's reaction to the car, tears, and telling me "it looks like the day mom brought it home. I'm so glad you have her car." Well, that made the work worthwhile.
She's a driver, we are taking her up in the Sierras in a few weeks for a little vacation, so she needs to run right too. Anyhow, a few pics:

Okay, so the winners were all immaculatly restored; two '67 big blocks, and a beautiful '53. It was a great show and I think my car held it's own.

My largely original 1964 Corvette. Getting ready for a big show, so hit the interior and engine. Paint is over 20 years old, but gold came back nice. Some fresh chrome and trim bits. Still need to get after the suspension and tires and wheels before the show.
Typically I start working, then halfway through think I should take pictures.
Used everything from clay, PCP, PFP, Microfiber pads & FlexRevive, BG, Americana, TID, Carpet & Upholstery cleaner, I&O, Metal Polish & 4" Pads on windshield A pillars, etc.

As you can imagine it took hundreds of hours to clean this truck but using the adams product line made it easy and put us one step above the rest when show cased. I thank adams products for the hundreds of smiles of children and thumbs up given by professional judges during the parade routes. my write up for this truck will commence once  spend more time correcting my sleep schedule then i do my paint on this beast.

Headed down to the Corvettes at Carlisle on Friday, and obviously had to pick me up some goodies from Adam's, and low and behold who checks us out when we go to pay? None other than fellow TBSS owner MOOK! So we stood there and chatted it up with him for a few minutes, and then continued on our way walking around the thousands of vettes. Then we headed back home and he grabbed his SS, and we headed out to a back road he knew of to try and get some fresh photo's of his SS since we lowered it a few weeks ago. And I think they turned out pretty bad ***!

    Hello !

This past week i picked up a bunch of Adams products with the flex machine! I couldnt wait to make my truck shine. There was a truck show at Bandimere and it was nice to hear nice comments about my truck:

" Thats an 07', it looks brand new!"

"Is that you DD or a garage queen?"  ( its my DD)

"Is that a fresh paint job, the black paint looks amazing"

Thanks to all the Adams crew for answering some questions that i had. Special thanks to Mook . Back in January he showed me how to use the Flex and now that I finally bought one he refreshed my memory on how to polish. I like that Im so close to the Adams Warehouse too. Enough writing onto the pictures:

Hi everybody!  I'm a newbie and in the Central Valley.  Also a wee bit of a Mark VIII fiend, thus my love of Adam's.  I do a lot of meetups and shows and thought it'd be a great opportunity to share the love, so I became an affiliate today.  I've grown up hand polishing so went that direction with Adam's and did the Revive polish to remove the Turtle Wax Black Box which was hazing badly in the heat.  Then I did Brilliant Glaze and followed with Americana and a final detail spray.  Brilliant Glaze on the rims, too.  Whew!!!  My car is a 1997 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC with 64K miles and all original, except for the stereo, sparkly engine bits, and drilled/slotted rotors.  Not too bad for a girl, eh!    Great to be a part of this community.  Oh, ya.  I LOVE my Lincoln!!!!

Thanks guys, I appreciate all the kind words. I did the front garage a few years ago, work to keep it tidy. The wife caught me mopping the floor a while back, she looked at me, "So you do know how that thing (the mop) works. You can do my kitchen."
Well, I just stated the obvious, "I don't park my motorcycle in your kitchen."
In retrospect I guess I'm lucky I didn't wind up sleeping out there.
