RayS
This is the my daughter's Range Rover that still needs some additional time spent on it, but it took a major step forward today. The front rims where nearly black with brake dust and grime, my son-in-law and I are pleased with the way that they came out. The information on the site, the video's and all the hints from the members have helped with the learning process, but there is nothing better that knowledge to use by getting your hands on the vehicle with the products - plus it helps with the addiction... I have nearly ran out of Red motorized items to do, so I may have to resort to doing the riding mower after I mow on Sunday, yes it is Red, so it qualifies. The other item I did today was use the left over Ultra Shampoo in the Foam Gun on the garage door along with an old microfiber sponge. The door really cleaned up nice and I even cleaned the windows with the Glass Cleaner. falcaineer
Looks great, Ray! What will/have you added for protection and shine?

The body was Ultra Shampoo, Detail Spray and Buttery Wax and that is it for now. The wheels/Tires are Eco Wheel Cleaner - Big Woolie, Small Woolie and Lug Brush, Tire & Rubber Cleaner and Tire Shine. The windows were done with Glass Cleaner. We never touched the trim, even though I have the VRT for it. We know it really needs to have a strip wash and clay bar to get it to a more acceptable level. I just placed an order for H20 Guard and Gloss and from there I need to keep reading the posts and figure out the best long term care and I'm still trying to figure out the best products to use and which go with which to get the best results. Once I get the results the way I want it with the Buttery Wax, I'll step to the Americana Wax for all the daily drivers (Colorado, Malibu, Range Rover, CX5) and for the 240z, Mustang and motorcycle it will probably be the Patriots Wax. For now, I'll stick with Buttery Wax so I can keep learning and practicing about once a month. Of note, every vehicle is Red except the 240z which is Black and will be the last one touched - it is actually my other son-in-law's, who is currently deployed and it has the original 1971 paint on it. ZMAN024
Used my SK Mini with a MF cutting pad to polish away severe water spots and wiper patterns on my son's Jeep Rubicon windshield. I used a polish from another company specifically formulated for polishing glass since Adam's doesn't offer an equivalent. Sorry, no pictures. It started to rain just as I finished applying a quick coat of Adam's Glass Sealant. The SK Mini and MF cutting pad worked great for this application. LFairbanks
Outside at 0630 washing my DD and the truck. Felt good to get two vehicles washed! All three of my vehicles need a good detail, but it will have to wait, unfortunately. Hit them both with H2O Guard and Gloss. Wy_detailing
Spent 4 hours cleaning the underneath side, wheels and tires of this 2016 2500! Chevy, why did you use carpeted fenderwells that hold endless amounts of dirt!?! SlammedRT and mc2hill
BrianT
Cleaned the rims, removed the stick on wheel weights in prep for the new tires that went on Saturday. I was surprised how easy the sticky tape came off the rim. Brought that 3M wheel thing and never used it. Tire guy was happy I took the weights off before he got it. 8675309'SS
Spent yesterday in on and off rain working on this Fusion for my bro in law. Definitely looks better, and smells better! Used all Adams on the interior. First time using the iron remover and the clay mitt which was awesome. It saved me tons of time. The paint has some scratches but didn’t look too bad. I didn’t have time to correct. This was a scramble to do what I could in a day. I used another company’s polish (for shine) and sealant. I saturated with 1:1 distilled water and vinegar and then blotted. Repeated multiple times. Then odor neutralizer to help with the vinegar smell. The salt had formed a hard shell. It was pretty bad. LFairbanks
Jen, the Fusion turned out amazing! I would have never guessed you had only a day! Maybe I need a crash course in time management. I like how you did the pictures side by side too. Edited June 25, 2018 by LFairbanks 8675309'SS
MikeSoFlo
Cleaned up my wife's Lexus IS. Nothing too crazy, cleaned the wheel, tires and fenders and then ultra foam shampoo and h20 guard and gloss for the paint. RacerX
This one is just getting started... it sat in a barn for 10 years. I started to wash the wheels and then realized I should take photos to show the progress.
RacerX
After washing it with a pretty heavy concentration of soap it looks much better. There is a lot of cleaning and polishing to go, though.. there's so many nooks and crannies around the drivetrain. ZMAN024
