0 Ricky Bobby Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 I agree I also love VRT and as an all in one solution for tires and black trims.
0 rrmccabe Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 Me too. Vrt rocks. Wife does like tire shine on hers
0 AvsBest Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 Do you have the VRT on there on the picture? Looks pretty shiny unless the sun was shining right at it
0 zw470 Posted June 12, 2016 Author Posted June 12, 2016 That's with SVRT but yeah, direct sun and it was bright as hell out haha.
0 vobro Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 I too prefer the VRT, to me it's a more consistent product.
0 CMDChase Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 Tire shine is nice but I've been a VRT fan since day one.
0 Black Bowtie Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 I picked up a bottle at my local dealer on Saturday, love the stuff. And as a bonus they had one can of Quick Sealant left that I grabbed!
0 PacificNWBuckeye Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 The SVRT is more versatile, but I do like a shiny tire on my truck.... I just need white letter tires!
0 ctdw Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 I switched to Tire Shine a year ago and I am not sure why...I just went back to SVRT yesterday and I really prefer the matte look of SVRT.
0 galaxy Posted December 3, 2016 Posted December 3, 2016 Are you guys diluting it any for tires, or just straight up? Applies with a block or rag? How's the slinging?
0 chops1sc Posted December 3, 2016 Posted December 3, 2016 I use the hex foam applicator, let sit about 10 minutes then wipe with an old rag. I get no sling until it rains. b_pappy 1
0 b_pappy Posted December 3, 2016 Posted December 3, 2016 Jon, I apply the Tire Shine full strength directly to the pro applicator, only about 2-3 squirts. Then go around the tire about 3-4 times. No sling, not too shiny and, IMHO, lasts longer and looks better than VRT. One of my customers has about 70 limos (Flyte Tyme) and they buy Tire Shine in gallons and love the results. Clean, natural looking, and no sling. That said, I have a lot of customers who still prefer VRT. Just one of those those things.
0 LT1xL82 Posted December 3, 2016 Posted December 3, 2016 I switched to Tire Shine a year ago and I am not sure why...I just went back to SVRT yesterday and I really prefer the matte look of SVRT. I too prefer the look of SVRT...I just wish it was way more durable.
0 Sugar Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 I got the Tire Shine in a MB a few months back. Love how easy it is to apply and the smell is great. It just doesnt last long enough for me. I get maybe a week out of it (if its nice out). I've never tried the VRT yet, but a friend of mine claims its great. Maybe its time to pick some up or keep buying MB's until I get one
0 galaxy Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 Oops....sorry Bruce...I meant dilute VRT for tires. Seems like I'd be a little thick and hard to work with straight for tires.
