  1. The kit is where it's at! The sealant lasts a loooooooooong time. Like fooooorrrrreeeevvvveer
  2. It's really got me wanting the bigger Rupes polisher as well. My plan at this point is to do more business so I can afford one.
  3. Just curious would we be able to apply to the whole car then come back using detail spray to remove it? Just thinking that might bump up the longevity and shine if that's even possible????
  4. Just fired up the Mini to knock out my side view mirrors as they have never been polished. All I can say is WOW! Holy Lord this little guy kicks major A$$!!! I had no idea how powerful it would be. It is like having a miniature FLEX for tight spaces. I love it. Gotta do some bumpers and then A Pillars and headlights next. What a great little polisher! Just wanted to share my experience. Had the Mini for a few weeks and finally got the time to use it. If the Mini is this good now I have to look at getting the 15!!!
  5. You are more than welcome fella! Happy detailing I think you will be able to keep your cars looking their best with your plan of attack
  6. Yeah it still has a very nice scent. No complaints. This product is killer and its also one I kick myself for not buying sooner! It makes a huge difference. I never could get glass perfect in the past with all the store bought stuff. But with this in the arsenal you will get far and above better results.
  7. Just gave the new version a go in the house and I am impressed with the results. Did the bathroom mirror and tablet screen. No streaks and worked quicker than the old formula. Smell wise I like the old formula. I was that way with the V2 DS too but the new scent grew on me so who knows maybe this one will too. But when it comes to cleaning this one gets the job done better. Great job you guys!
  8. I use them. Really no issues with them so far. But I hand wash mine as well. I use the microfiber revitilizer to clean mine. Like the others have stated, I use it for Glass Sealant as well. I have also use mine with BW and HGG. I think they serve a good purpose for those three things. I like the hex grip and machine application for for BG and LPS.
  9. They take care of customers. It seems to be rare in the retail world we live in. Quantity versus quality seems to win out in most regards. Not with Adams. They focus efforts on quality in every facet of the business. The companies founded on solid principles like this one are the ones I like to support.
  10. Mark, Based on your input I would recommend getting the Gen 5 white and orange foam pads for minor correction. The microfiber is really used for moderate to severe defects. The only thing I would add is you may want to get two sets of the foam pads. Reason being is you might want to split some work between a couple of days. You could have to postpone the work waiting on just one set of pads to dry from cleaning after your first day if that makes sense. Whereas if you have two sets, you could use the first set day one and the second set is ready to go day 2. For your second Q, I would get both for similar reason as stated above. You dont really want to cross contaminate products into the same pad unless you clean after use with the first product, which would cause some delay. The good thing is the gen 4 grey and red pads are on clearance. http://adamspolishes.com/shop/specials/clearance.html On the third Q, I do not use the brushes on my tires, but based on the stiffness, I would have to assume they would do the trick. i would really rather keep my polisher away from grimey tires but thats just me. I use the Adams fender brush and the tire scrub brush and they work extremely well.
  11. You might be able to use the forum discount. I think the only time I remember a machine on sale with a discount was a few years ago on Black Friday, but I could be wrong.
  12. Tried BG and DS andit looked a little better. Used MP 1 and 2 and it cleaned up real nice. Like you said Dylan it does have that tumbled finish. I just had some spots from normal use and the MP knocked those right out! I detail a lot of cars but rarely get to use MP. This will be a good use for them.
  13. Guys has anyone used BG or DS or metal polish on the Cyclo housing? Just curious what the best thing to use would be or if its more of a leave it as is thing. Mine looks okay after about 10-15 details but I was thinking it could use a boost. Any thoughts?
  14. I would definitely look into the RW and a sprayer you can use to pre treat the exterior and maybe even a pressure washer so you can knock the crud off better.
  15. Yeah I typically spray a few shots into a foam applicator and a few on the fender well and spread it. It doesnt take much to cover a lot of surface area.
  16. I havent had issues with it getting on the tires. Are you detailing a big truck with it or something else? If you are doing the truck in your sig, you should have enough room to spray it on and knock down any excess real easy.
  17. Chris I have never really tried to guage how long it lasts. The wheel wells take a good amount of abuse so it probably depends on where you drive how much it rains etc.. I usually apply mine monthly. Since I typically clean the wheel wells every third or fourth wash thats when I do mine. I think every wash might be overkill.
  18. Yeah thanks for feeding my car OCD big guy! Now I am going to have to get a 15.
  19. Going through the same process as you my friend. Picked up the mini and looking forward to it. Used the Flex this weekend and was reminded just how awesome it is! But also how much it can pull you around. Got me thinking about that 15. But I wonder if the 15 is a massive departure from the Cyclo. Since I have the Cyclo and the Flex I think I have pretty much all scenarios covered. But I am a tool hoarder so not sure I can stay away from that Rupes 15.
