Another BIG THANKS to Adam's Premium Car Care!

My first car show of the season and I won my first "1st Place" in "The 22nd Annual Fun in the Sun Car Show" in the "Wash and Show" category. Scored a 99.5 out of 100!

I am not sure how many 11 year old black cars with original paint, that are daily drivers, and do an autocross 6 days before, win 1st Place in a car shows.

I honestly believe my first big win could not have been done without using Adam's Products.

mc2hill reacted to b_pappy in Cyclo or Flex for C6 vette?
Tough call, I own one of each, plus I've used them both on my C5 (although I see you have a C6)
As you know, Adam's only sells the Cyclo now, and it's a great machine. My personal Cyclo machine was built prior to 1959 and still runs strong. Your mileage may vary, but it's one heck of a machine. It's very smooth, easy to handle, very low vibration and does a great job. Probably want to use the microfiber pads on your C5 as the clearcoat is hard.
My experience is the Flex would be fine on the C6, probably a bit faster at correcting and getting the results you want.
Sorry, I guess it's not a clear answer, but you won't go wrong with either machine. Buy the Cyclo from Adam's and it's guaranteed for life though.

Very nice to meet Matt, Joe and Bianca that day.  All were super nice to me and let me see everything and take pics of whatever I wanted.  I am sorry to say I missed Adam on my trip, I had some rental car delays which made me miss the window I had before he had to head out again.  Thanks for all the bumper sticker swag and the new shirt, my old one was getting kind of worn out after a few years!

Just wanted to share my positive experience with Adam's. Back around February I ordered the details essentials kit. When I had ordered, a lot of the items were on back order so it didn't ship until March which is understandable. Well, Adam's got me the full kit and I was excited when I got it as its the first thing I had ever bought.

Well just over a couple days ago I get an email stating that Adam's had shipped a product. I was confused as I didn't order anything and thought it was a mess up on their end. Well, a couple days after I recieve the email I'm cleaning my motorcycle and the Fed Ex truck pulls up. I again was conufsed and blamed my wife for buying something behind my back! I then saw the Adam's tape on the box. I was like I didn't order anything but I'll check it out.

I then opened up the box and it was basically another essentials kit. I didn't know if it was by accident or not so I emailed Adam's about it. This was the response I got:

"Wow, thank you Patrick, and our peeps are a little off, apparently!  We’ll get this sorted out, and I apologize for the hassle.  Indeed, we have had a rough go of a new inventory system, which has made for many shipping delays.
Keep the kit, and thank you for your kindness!"

Just for the hassle of the first kit being delayed it was made up with a second kit which I never really expected in the first place. To top it off, I got american made mints which were fantastic!

So thumbs up to Adam's! I'm definitely a new customer for life because their customer service can't be matched!

If budget is an issue but you want to upgrade to machine polishing, I would suggest picking up a GG DA from our friend Phil at Detailer's Domain.  Then hit up Adam's website for a "Starter 7" Machine Polishing Kit - http://www.adamspolishes.com/p-976-adams-starter-7-machine-polishing-kit.aspx.  Add a 2nd MF Cutting pad (or ask them to swap out the MF finishing pad in the kit), a 2nd foam Cutting pad, and a 2nd foam Finishing pad and you are ready to polish.  If you want to apply the LPS by machine then add a black foam pad.  Now if you can take a week or so to do the correction, you can skip the 2nd set of pads.  You will just need to wash them about 1/2 way through the detail, and the white pad takes a couple of day to dry.
When the budget permits, add the 4" Focus pads to help with the smaller/tighter areas.

You know if you were that impatient to see pics you could have just shown up
Only had about 40 total cars this year. The threat of rain for the past week surely kept some people home, but it didn't rain a drop and it was sunny for most of the day.

You can use any wax you like.  But you already have the main protection in place (LPS), so you may just want to wait until the Americana arrives.

I added about half of a small bottle (16oz I believe) to 5 gallons of water (that is the tank contents of the unit). So that would make 8/640 = 1.25%. I probably used less than half of those 5 gallons. Doing two more cars tomorrow

The Intelagard Macaw is proudly made in the USA, right here in Colorado. As for using it as a detailing tool, that would only work if you have a very large budget; With the air cylinder it retails at 4,600 bucks! We have close to 10,000 of these units in use by US armed forces for fire suppression and decontamination. Not really a detailing tool, I just felt like doing this because I can

Have you tried the MF pads and new polish?  I was not able to remove the scratches from my son's car with any combo of foam pads & polish (SSR + green pads included).  The MF pads and polish removed them in 2 passes, and finished so well FMP did not make it look any better,
