Yes, D-20 is most of the city's north end.  Good luck!  (I just sent you a PM with my cell if I can be of any assistance while you're here.)

mc2hill got a reaction from JHL88 in 36oz Products To Be Discontinued
I would love to see the 36oz size of SVRT stay.  I know it does not make sense to only sell one item in that size, but IMO that is the product that is seems to work the best for.  The gallon is a little too much, and the 16oz is great for caring around, but the 36 is the perfect refill size.

When I saw you name I immediatly thought of your "Ice Cold" waxing process.  I can not find that post, but I did find a post that quoted the specifics of the process.  http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/10952-coldice-waxing/?hl=cold
    Thanks again Frank!

Looks great for your first full detail!  More experience will get you better results with the buffer - I do agree with what some folks said in that you do need to slow down a bit - I could do a full correction in 1.5 hours as a rotary user with a decade of experience...if you're going at that same pace with a DA polisher...slow down a touch

The biggest thing I noticed though: Pick your battles!  You hopped back and forth too much.  The best thing you can do for yourself is plot out a process and stick to it, which will save you a lot of time.  This is by no means definitive, but probably a good framework:

BE CONFIDENT:  I'll bet money you went fast in part because you were nervous.  Calm down...slow down.
PRE-WASH: Wheels, tires, jambs, trim, de-bug gutting, exhaust tips.  Don't dress anything yet - just clean.  Also note any damage you see if this is a customer car - don't continue until they know about it.
WASH & CLAY:  There's time savings in here - clay the car as part of the washing process - not after you dry it
INTERIOR:  Start to finish.  Work from the center of the car out to the glass and lastly the door jambs.  Don't forget to look up - headliners and sunroof glass need love, too.
CORRECTION: Find your formula and polish.  Is the paint soft enough to knock it all out in one step?  Most of the time the answer is yes.
FINAL RINSE:  Get rid of polishing oils & dust.  Waterless wash would probably work well for this step.
DRESS & PROTECT: Dress everything you cleaned in the pre-wash, apply your LSP(s) and clean the glass

mc2hill got a reaction from Black Bowtie in 'Always ready' foaming solution
I was getting ready the use my Adam's foam gun this morning and thought 'hey, you have a gallon container of Car Wash mixed at wash strength (http://www.adamsforums.com/forums/tips-tricks/4606.htm), why not do the same for the foamer'! So I filled an empty Car Wash Shampoo gallon jug with 96 oz of water and 18 oz of Adam's Car Wash Shampoo (per Dylan's recommendation of 32 oz to 6-8 oz of shampoo). If I want thicker foam I can add a little more shampoo to the foam gun canister.

mc2hill got a reaction from Hot_Wheel in 'Alway's ready' car wash soap
A while back a friend gave me a foaming sprayer and I thought 'this may work for cleaning the wheels when they are only a little dirty'. Well that sprayer didn't work great so I upgraded to a Tolco foaming sprayer. This sprayer is like a mini-foam gun - great for wheels and spot treating bugs.

Now when I wash the car I take 8 to 16 oz. of the wash solution out of bucket and refill the sprayer or put it in a gallon jug.

Updated with an Adam's foaming sprayer.

I placed an order online while at work one day, then just as I was pulling into the driveway i got a call from Colorado.  I said to myself 'Oh, there must be a problem or question about my order'.  When I answered the phone the voice on the other end said "Hey Mike this is Adam".  It took me several seconds to be able to say anything!

Start with the areas away from the panel gaps first, then work towards the gaps.  The polish should be absorbed into the pad (or pads if you are using a Cyclo!) by then and won't go into the gaps.  You may still have some residue to wipe out of those areas when you complete all the steps.

For goodness sakes, "pay it forward" man!  If you are not going to use them, there is someone in your area that you could regift them to and get them into the Adam's fold.  They would only need a PC to get started.
Nothing wrong with the 'old' stuff either, just 'better, faster, stronger' stuff is now available.
Adam's still have the best combinations for a newbie.
