  1. Can the Adams Surface Prep be used to prep trim when I use Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating, or do I have to use the Trim Prep? Why I ask is I only have the Surface Prep at this time and my local dealer does not carry the Trim Prep.
  2. Check with some of Adams dealers, they may still have some in inventory. I picked up some extra bottles about a year ago when it was going away.
  3. Just Purchased a new Silverado, and planning on coating it with the Spray Graphene. My only concern is some posts that I have read on the plastic trim turning grey after application of ceramic products. I am not new to the detailing game and know I need to prep the trim (Tire and Rubber Cleaner) and then Surface Prep. I have never spent this much on a vehicle and hate to screw up all the black trim that it has on it. Just a little nervous and thinking I should just skip all the trim and just coat the paint? Any thoughts and knowledge would be appreciated.
  4. Snow off and on all week, a balmy -12 and feel like -21 on the way into work this morning. May see double digits next week?
  5. Same here, has probably been two weeks until this morning.
  6. I agree, I stocked up when it was being discontinued. You may be able to find some online at an Adams dealer?
  7. Woke up to 23 degrees this morning and a couple inches of snow on the ground with a high of 33 degrees. Saturday it will be close to 60 degrees. Of course next week when i am taking vacation to deer hunt it is going to be in the 50's all week. 🤕🤕
  8. I always plan to correct/polish the paint when claying.
  9. People here in Iowa still without power a week later. Now with so many working from home it is hard to work when you have no power or internet. Homes and businesses destroyed and over 10 million acres of crops damaged. We had soldiers training in the shop and barely got the overhead doors shut when it hit. More destruction then any tornado has ever done in the state. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2020/08/14/iowa-derecho-deadly-storm-power-outages-national-guard/5581492002/
  10. Who had Derecho on their 2020 bingo card? We got hit pretty hard here in Iowa yesterday. Just more fun added to the year 2020. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Derecho
  11. You need to put it on your bucket list. The Iowa State Fairgrounds is 445 acres and you get a workout walking around to see all the cars. On a normal year they have about 7000 cars show up. What is nice is that it is all paved with no gravel plenty of shade trees, get tired of walking then find a place to sit by the main drag and watch the cars scoop the loop.
  12. Sorry Rich, did not take any. 🤕 But you can check some out here.... https://www.fuelcurve.com/first-look-29th-heartland-nationals/
  13. To my surprise the Adams gang showed up in Des Moines this past weekend at the Heartland Nationals. Stopped by the trailer and visited with Dan and several other staff members, sorry I'm terrible with names. I have asked for years for them to stop at this show, and I know with being on a holiday weekend and the week before the Columbus show it wasn't on the stop. It was nice to finally have something happen that you look forward to every year happen with everything being cancelled this year. I have not heard what the final numbers were for the show, and know they will be down, but still was a good showing. I picked up a few things at the trailer, again great visiting with the staff. I hope the stop at the show was worth adding the Heartland Nationals as a regular stop now. The Iowa State Fairgrounds is a great facility for this show and hope to see the Adams gang back!
  14. Picked up some butts for .97 cents a pound and put in the freezer for future use, they had brisket on sale also and should have picked one up also.
  15. That's what happen when an investment company takes over. Profits over quality.
  16. 19 degrees and snowing here this morning. This is when I hit the coin op car wash and hand wash and hit the truck with H2G when drying once a month.
  17. Happy Veterans Day to all my brothers and sisters. Training warriors today, so what a better way to celebrate!!
