But this is a good chance to remind everyone to support the Toys for Tots drives in their areas.  It doesn't take much to help brighten a child's life.  Give till it hurts.

You could make a mental list of all the extra Adam's products you have and make plans to send it to one lucky newbie for Christmas... Lol.

Welcome to the forum Jon.  Like any group, people are loyal to one thing or another. We don't bash other products here, but we don't promote others either.  Adam's products speak for themselves.  Once  you've tried them, you'll most likely find that the quality is above what other companies sell.  That and the customer service, and the 110% money back guarantee are all what keeps users coming back and makes them quit looking elsewhere for their rides.
    We're glad you joined us.

    Welcome Jon!

Can't comment on your question related to the other company, but it seems to me like they represent the larger scale, higher volume products, where sometimes providing the best possible product doesn't always occur.

Adam's products in my opinion, are really close in pricing if purchased at the correct time, and in correct volume needed, are very easy to use, offer GREAT results if use properly, and the durability is second to none.

Add in the Adam's customer service, the 110% guarantee, and it is easy to see why some competitors may get an uneasy feeling.

Adam's also provides videos here, and has a YouTube channel to assist you with any questions related to the products and processes.

    Welcome aboard!

First, welcome to the forum. That other site doesn't sell Adam's stuff, so they certainly won't support it. Likewise here, this form has rules against promoting other products.

There are a lot of people that will have an opinion about something they don't know anything about, and will be more than happy to share it!

Jon welcome to the Forum sir. I will second Tims comments. The bottom line is you won't find a brand that is as solid across the board as Adams and has the support this brand carries with it backed by a team that is 100% customer focused.

That would be frustrating. Guessing the previous owner didn't use Adam's! I don't own either product (I am about to buy both, however), but I'm thinking Leather & Interior Cleaner along with the Cockpit Brush would work well. Good luck!

I recently purchased a detailing cart and wanted to find a solution to keep my bottles secure and prevent them from moving or tipping over.  I thought I would give it a shot and build something myself seeing as I had a specific design in mind.  Here are some details of the project...

Started with a heavy duty steel 3-tier cart and added the Adam's 'A' to class it up:

Added some shelf-liner to all three levels for some padding and protection:

Got a piece of wood cut-out to fit exactly on the top shelf.  Then measurements carefully drawn up to fit 21 bottles:

Cutting the holes out was easier than I expected and luckily the wood held up well:

    Sanded and ready for paint:

The fit turned out perfect and very sturdy:

Used a couple coats of Satin Black (I tried Gloss Black at first but it was too shiny):

Bottles are nice and snug now.  Very happy with the result

Again, lots of opinions, and your desired end result (e.g., basic detail, showroom shine, etc.) will drive your steps. But here's what I'd say using the steps you outlined as a baseline:

At any time: Interior, full detail, vacuum, carpet shampoo, etc..

    Exterior
    1. Wheels and rims washed (with separate glove and bucket)
    2. Rinse
    3. Strip wash (use Adam's Strip Wash or basic dish detergent)
    4. Rinse
    5. VRT all trim (will make removing any polish/sealant/wax much easier later)
    6. Clay bar using DS as a lubricant
    7. Paint Correcting Polish
    8. Paint Finishing Polish (if you want the next level shine)
    9. Alcohol wipe-down (50/50 with water, used to remove polish oils) with a blue waffle towel
    10. Liquid Paint Sealant
    11. Buff off any residue with a single or double soft towel
    12. Wax and/or Glaze (this is where others should chime in since I don't do these steps)
    13. Reapply VRT to trim, as necessary, and VRT/Tire Shine to wheels
    14. Sit back, apply sunglasses, and admire!

Thank goodness I have a work truck to try all of these products on first!
Tried it out on tires and worked great. Then decided to try on trim around the windows. Followed instructions, placed on towel and rubbed clean... First thing I noticed was it pulls up ALOT of rubber and decontamination. My towel was instantly black.
Lessons learned... Use an old rag.
I continued all around folding my towel over and over, half way through I noticed my paint was collecting all of the residue!
Lesson learned... Tape around area prior to doing his to protect your paint, and roll down you window if possible!
Total cleaning and VRT was about 5 min, clean up was about 15 minutes with several products, and towels...
    Looked great when done!
Hope this helps someone in the future.

Thanks, Dan! I appreciate the quick turn on answering the request (assuming Adam's didn't already plan to release them; if not, then I'll count this as a small contribution to the benefit of Adam's Nation!). Too bad I just placed an order last night, though. If one doesn't come with it, I guess I'll have to open my wallet again and add "a few" more things to get the free shipping!

Thanks for posting, Dan! I like it.
