Those are high spots, the coating residue wasn't fully removed. Try the following in order, if available, starting in a small spot to see what works, then use the same process on the rest of the car.

    1) Brilliant Glaze, wiped away with a plush microfiber towel
    2) Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating (applied to reactivate the coating, then immediately wiped away)
    3) Apply a few drops of white Polish to a plush microfiber towel, like a Borderless Grey, laid completely flat, not folded, and use your entire hand to lightly and evenly rub the areas until the high spots disappear.  Wipe away residue and enjoy, no need to reapply
    4) Machine polish with white pad and Polish, then Surface Prep, then reapply the coating on the affected area, level, and allow to fully cure

That should get you squared away!

Just wondering if Adam's has ever thought of making a coupler to put two of the air cannon hoses together? I have 3 air cannons mounted to the wall and I  don't really like taking them down but Im always just a tad short on the hose and could just make it to where I wanted to be with just a little bit more hose. If there was a coupler that we could join two hoses together so I could add a 16ft hose to the 30ft hose it would be great! Adding tow 30ft hoses together would be cool as well.

I'm supposed to pick up my new car tomorrow, Oct 26th. I live in Parker, Colorado and we're going to have a high of 15 degrees and snow all day. I'm already sick of winter. LOL!

That's a pretty great article, and I agree with what it says. I wouldn't risk reintroducing them to paint, save them for dirty jobs. Or toss them. Marking them somehow once done, like a black Sharpie in the corner or cut a corner or two off are a couple of ideas.

I can't vouch for safety in the kitchen, but once it is hardened, it's essentially glass so I wouldn't have a problem wiping things down with them. Except for fragile surfaces!

Mike E. reacted to Dan@Adams in Should I throw away towels used for ceramic installation?
Yes, any kind of microfiber towel with a tag hanging from it is usually cheaper, usually manufactured in China rather than Korea, and you absolutely want to remove that tag, since it can scratch paint very easily. These types of towels could be used for engine bay, inside door jambs, exhaust tips, etc, but I would not recommend them on paint. On most coating jobs that I do now, I use our Suede Towel for the initial wipe and leveling of the coating, and then I follow up with an Edgeless Utility Towel to remove the remainder of the coating residue. Both of these towels are fairly affordable when purchased in bigger quantities during a sale, and it is peace of mind for me that I am not potentially scratching the surface when wiping away the coating with a lesser quality towel.

With our spray coatings (Ceramic Spray Coating and Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating), in my experience, the towels do not typically crystallize and harden in the same manner as the full Graphene Ceramic Coating, UV Ceramic Paint Coating, and UV Ceramic Wheel Coating, so I have been able to re-use towels that I use with the SPRAY coatings, as long as I soak them shortly after use in some Revitalizer and then machine wash them. I do wash them separate from my other microfiber towels to avoid any possible contamination.

Towels that I use with the full coatings do harden - I did an unplanned test a few years back with a white Single Soft Towel that I used during application of our older Ceramic Paint Coating Kit on my car. Two days later I accidentally grabbed this towel off of my work bench and put a few nice 4" faint scratches in the hood of my car when using it with Ceramic Boost, which I then had to re-polish out. Since then, once I use a towel for a coating, I mark it with a sharpie as @falcaineer mentioned, so that I know not to use it on paint again.

So a buddy of mine just picked up his new vette, but the dealer trashed it as usual, so it needd a litle love from me and Adams. Strip washed, claybared, 2 step paint correction, Brilliant Glaze, Americana wax and some Slick and Slide added for a little extra pop. Needless to say it looks a lot better !!

As I put in the post just above yours:

The key to longevity with a Foam Cannon is to run clear water, using the pressure washer, through the thing after every use to keep the internals clear of soap. The soap will dry inside plugging the thing up.

The first Foam Cannon I had years ago stopped working properly. I disassembled it and found there to be a wad of course stainless Steel/Steel Wool inside, near the air flow dial. I'd not been rinsing this one out after use and it was clogged with dried soap. I soaked the wadding (once removed) in hot water and APC for several hours to clean the dried soap out, put it back together and it's still working fine today. I bought one of the MTM PF22.2 Foam Cannons when Adam released them a couple years ago, it's still working fine.

Wanted to give a shout out to Charles and Adam (not Adam Pitale).

Had issues with my Micro Polisher and contacted customer service via email. Received a quick reply from Charles who asked me to bring it back to the warehouse. I went the following day. Unfortunately Charles was not in when I arrived. I was assisted by another gentleman, I didn't get his name. He looked over the polisher and saw the problems. He asked if I wanted a refund or replacement. I told him I would like it replaced as I really enjoyed using the polisher while it worked. He had Adam get a new Micro Polisher and replaced the unit. Can't ask for more than that.

I decided to walk around the showroom since I was there. Can be an expensive proposition if I'm left to wonder for too long. This when I got to talk with Adam. A very pleasant young man and I enjoyed talking with him. Adam took great care of me and I left with some great products.

I am a loyal customer due to the great product line and equally great staff. Keep up the great work!

We're still on the fence about going or not. I'm almost 74, wife is 68.  We're both at the wrong age to get this crap.  We still have our hotel reservation and our reserved spot on the field.  Going to wait till the first or second week of August before deciding.  We may opt to just drive down for one day depending on the weather.  But numbers are on the upswing again. Who knows what it will be like a month from now. But we're in row IE, space 50 again this year.  And Mike, Ladder13, is right down from us in space 56.  So Adam's gang will be well represented.

Mike, Friday or Saturday are the best days. Thursday is more of a set up day, and Sunday is just lame.   As for where to stay, most of the closer hotels are sold out because people book them a year in advance, usually when they check out the previous year.  You most likely will have to find a place in Mechanicsburg, Harrisburg, Chambersburg, or maybe Shippensburg (see the pattern here?)  I don't recommend going thru sites like Hotels.com because I've seen a lot of people show up at hotels and the hotel says they never got the reservation. So deal directly with the hotel you like.  The closer to the fairgrounds, the higher the rate, so be prepared if you're lucky enough to find a close hotel that's not a flea bag. And there are plenty of those.   Also, that's usually check in weekend for Dickinson College so that limits hotels as well.
