I know this is an Adams forum, but Matt at Obsessed Garage has purchased hundreds of "budget" pressure washers and tested to see which ones were up to par, all his videos on this are on Youtube. I would definitely go electric, if you get the right one, it will do everything a gas one would. If I didnt have my Kranzle, I would most likely buy *****.
 
EDIT: Also another thing, PSI is not what really matters, its the GPM or Gallons Per Minute that is the big factor to figure out.

At first I had to double-check the author...it's a green truck, so no way it's @RayS' car so how could it be his post? Did someone back his account??? I'm a mod now so I can help. 🤔 Well, I was partially right... 😆😆

I'm not one to talk bad about a company, especially Adams. But there are better options than this pressure washer. That video above is spot on. Tons of youtube videos of him testing them all and he'll tell you if its junk or not.

Daniel, you inadvertently answered your own question. You don’t need a different light source you need a darker background to contrast the light reflected off of silver paint. When I work on my wife’s silver Beast I will turn off all the lights in the garage and use a hand held LED flashlight to check my work. My previous ( and next!) vehicle was pearl white and I learned quickly to do what we do in our optical lab when we’re inspecting lenses for cosmetic defects. 
This lens looks pretty good, right?   Guess again.
 
 

Same lens, same old man hand but with a black background providing contrast just like your security light at night. Perhaps a pop up shade or parking under a tree if you have no garage. You may also need to get down closer to the paint and change the angle of reflection to help see imperfections.

I must say, lots of good inspiration on this thread! A bit of an update on my garage setup. 

You guys have some great garages! I'm really new to detailing and just started to figure out what I need in March. So far this is what I have chosen for a set up. All I have been detailing is my truck, my wife's car, and my motorcycle. Between Youtube and this forum I've been learning lots.
 
I use my garage as my workshop for various projects and it also has my gym in it so everything competes for space haha.
 
 

 

Just a FYI, all King Ranch trucks come with leather interior, thats kind of the main reason its called that is due to it being a saddle type leather which is why they are so different to clean and treat than most leather seats. 

This will be hard to find lol

Spray them with APC or eco APC and work that in with your hands, then spray them out with your hose. Let them dry and you're good to go!

Hey thanks for this! I think I find this really cool because of how far away I am from them yet I've made my mark there! 

Saturday I applied two coats of tire armor on my truck. Could not be happier with it. I put 1 coat on my daily Ford Ranger and that is definitely a matte look compared to this.

With the decent weather we had this weekend, I was able to finally apply Tire Armor to my tires and  I couldn't be more impressed with it. This is 2 coats which looks perfect. 

Thats actually exactly what I do and it works great. Have a few in each center console of my vehicles.
