My friend and neighbor needed his Jeep Rubicon prepared for winter.  I started in his driveway with a quick once over inspection looking for anything that may need my attention but found none.

Off to my heated garage we went where I started with a quick rinse of the roof and windows with Adam’s Rinseless Wash in a spray bottle. Those areas were then rinseless washed and the roof dried. The windows were cleaned a second time with Adam’s Clay Towel then dried. Next the paint was pre-rinsed then cleaned with Adam’s Rinseless Wash and several MF towels in a bucket. I spray rinsed then gently clay toweled the paint using the Rinseless solution as a clay lube. While doing that I discovered this mess on the hood. Quick pic and text sent with the approval to fix it as best as I could.
    😳

Down to the basement I went to get the SK 21, a couple of MF pads plus Adam’s Correcting Polish and Finishing Polish. This combination quickly took care of the mess. While I had the polisher out I polished the entire hood and front quarters.

Now that I was done polishing I wiped it down with a competitor’s panel wipe then got to coating the paint, trim and glass with Adam’s Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating. I can’t say enough how much I love that product; easy on, easy off and the gloss is off the charts.

Wheels and tires got a quick clean with the remaining rinseless solution, dried then wheels got coated with AGCSC topped with Ceramic Boost. My neighbor never puts tire stuff on the tires so I let them be with the exception of the spare which cried out for some Tire Shine.

Before bringing it back I cleaned the  interior glass with Adam’s Glass Cleaner and wiped down the interior with Adam’s Interior Detailer w/ Microban.

I was pleased with the results but my neighbor was even happier. I’m giving him some Adam’s Car Shampoo and Ceramic Boost with which to keep it up.

Wet the Dodge Dakota truck and sprayed the grille, windshield and side mirrors with Bug Remover. Let it soak and soften the bug guts for a minute and started the removal process. Rinsed the truck off and did a quick hand wash on the rest of the truck. Dried and applied Ceramic Boost.

The SS got a bath last night. Adam’s Wash and Wax plus many MF wash pads in the bucket. CS3 was used as a drying aid. 😍❤️😘

Let me announce it here for the world: I will never ever have a black vehicle again...NEVER!

Also discovered my cheap electric power washer is a complete POS. 1 year of use and it’s dying.     TIme to do a few side details to get some $$ for a legitimate power washer, foam cannon, etc.

Apologize up front as I completely forgot to take before pictures. I completely detailed and applied Ceramic Spray back in October 2019. Decided to do it all over again now.

    1. Spent all day Thursday washing, Iron remover, clay bar and cleaning the engine bay and tires and wheels.
    2. Spent all day Friday finish polishing with Swirl Killer, applying Surface Prep and applied Ceramic Spray coating to the entire car including door jams on the "Garage Queen".
    3. Applied Tire Shine and put the license plate back on today. Done for now due to extreme heat index. I'll clean the interior on Monday.

Obsessed Garage has my "vote". I am buying more and more from him. I have done a lot of price comparisons as well. He does have a slight mark up but it isn't that much. I am buying from him more now than Amazon. His videos and personal discussions as to why he chooses an item and his frankness on costs is awesome.

I tried ceramic glass coating and it sucks getting it off!!!   my wife car is my ceramic car I use only the ceramic stuff on it, so when the ceramic glass coating came out of course I got it.   I got several a&b packs and a kit.  figured I might be able to sale a few applications to customers.  boy am I glad I did it on my wife's car first.  I watched the video at least 10 times,  I read direction 5 times.  I figured ok got it.  my wife's car is very new but I cleaned the glass anyway ( glass cleaner, plastic razor blade, clay bar that came with kit,  surface prep) then I applied the a and b wipes the way instructions told me.   GETTING THAT STUFF OFF WAS CRAZY!!! AND AFTER A FULL HOUR TRYING TO GET IT OFF IT IS STILL THERE!!!  I used up all the glass cleaner it came with , used up a forth of a aerosol can and then I got another stronger glass cleaner from another detail product maker I had and I cant get this stuff off.   I usually drive my wife's car to church and get customers looking at it but this time I am parking in the back, way in the back.    Trying to remove the haze is almost impossible.  I have to get up in the mourning and try again.  I live in California maybe someone from the Anaheim store can bring a blow torch and help out.  This product is not ready for release I dont care what anyone says.  I have wasted my time and money after all the rubbing I have done and still have to do there want be any rain repellency left.  the boys in the lab have let me down this time big time.  someone should have said the removal was this tough I really done know if I can get all the product off without removing the effect sheesh there needs to be a recall on this junk!!!  I am pretty mad.  I say pull this from selling till it is perfected.  go ahead delete my post I know you will and let others walk right into this.

Honestly I’d return the pad or write it off as a lesson learned.

The bigger pad takes more motor to turn and usually has a longer throw on the polisher.

It’s fixed guys. GTG. Finishing polish and a white pad on the swirl killer mini. Very little effort and once over fixed it. But, that’s what it took. I tried finishing polish and revive by had to no avail.  Eco wheel cleaner is a placebo product IMHO. A solution looking for a problem.  I wanted the iron decon capability while they were off was the only reason I reached for the wheel cleaner.  Not bagging the product. It’s been good to me. Was the first use on these wheel.  Not what I wanted to do today, but a blessing in disguise. Wheels look great. In fact, they actually look amazing.

I thought about even starting a separate thread on this next statement, but this was also an opportunity to try out ceramic spray for the first time. All I have to say is hhoooo-Lleeeee COW. Stuff is amazing.  Best way I can think of to describe it is way more pop. Just seems glossier than regular ceramic coating. This pic does not serve justice at all.

SgtLip reacted to Sandalwood in Cordless polisher battery charging question
Yes, my hope was to have the second battery charged within a few minutes of the other one dying and be able to continually switch off.

When I tried that alternation this morning, I only got 11 minutes of total charge before it died. Its around 1.5-2 hours of charge time to get ~30 minutes out of them.

Maybe it's my charger? It also has never turned from red to green light. Sometimes it will flash green but go right back to staying on red.

Hopefully an Adam's rep can chime in on if this is all normal or not.

Edit: another thing I noticed is when the battery is dead, the indicator won't turn on at all,, but the second you put it on the charger it shows 2 bars.

SgtLip reacted to Sandalwood in Cordless polisher battery charging question
    Update:

So I'm on day 2 of polishing, and neither of the batteries fully charged to the 4th bar. I'm not sure if they ever were supposed to or are able to?

The fist battery lasted me 27 minutes TOTAL on the default 3rd level speed, but that was not continuous use of 27 minutes. There was several minutes of downtime between panels/sections etc.  The second battery lasted me 30 minutes total before it died.

27 and 30 minutes of TOTAL battery charge time before it runs out is a little surprising when the site claims 35-45 of use time "under load".

I feel like I'm only doing about 2/3 of a proper job on a section because I'm racing against the battery clock.

The local Chevy dealer has been so good to me from a service and deal standpoint, that I would be willing, if they asked nicely, to do them the favor of advertising for them in a black Vette.  However, I reserve the right to use selective adjectives while attempting to keep any black vehicle shiny and clean, including my full bird Colonel Uncle's SUV.

It is SIO2 Infused as a hybrid product, which leads me to believe yes, but I do not know that as fact.  I would question why would you want to?  If HGG does a wonderful job on White, it lasts for many months and is easy to apply and make White look absolutely beautiful, skip the CSC and stick with HGG.   It comes down to what the vehicles owner/maintainer chooses to do.  I do not use CSC on all my vehicles nor those that I maintain for others, but it is a choice, for some it is financial for others, I just think other products are sometimes better suited for that vehicle and the usage of the vehicle.

Check with your local Chevy or GMC/Buick dealer.  Many of them are Adam's dealers and the ones near me have a decent stock and will give me a discount when there is a sale online.

I'll admit that with driving a Chevy and a GMC that use Adam's products, I'm an advertisement when I show up to get Adam's supplies.  I've had more than one person ask about the products when they see my vehicles and I'm more than happy to tell them about the products and pick up some side work.  I just don't understand why the Chevy dealer won't give me a Red Vette to advertise with, I'd even let them keep their dealer sticker on it.
