  1. Can't be said enough, thank you to all of our Service Members for serving our country. You are all the reasons we are able to obsess over the finish on our vehicles.
  2. Any pressurized water could cause damage as the pieces are removed. Since the air method didn't produce results I might try a magnet held safely above the surface, then mist with detail spray or waterless and pool rinse the surface, both mentioned above.
  3. ADAM'S WATER BOTTLE! Why do I not have one of these?
  4. H20 G&G isn't meant to be a standalone sealant, but I have used it as such until I can get the car corrected with good results. It should be used as a booster to wax/sealant between washes.
  5. I have the Adam's supplied Grit Guards and they work great. From what I see this other style has some merit in that once the dirt is through the holes to the bottom there is less chance for it to get stirred up in to the main water bath. Though as mentioned already it looks to have a great deal of flat surface for dirt to sit on and not even make it to the bottom. So the changes are interesting, but that primarily solid design seems a draw back to me.
  6. I have H2O G&G as the only sealant on the wife's car until I can get it corrected later this summer. I have topped it with the new formula Americana and the wife said it looked like I sprinkled glitter all over it. I know this is not as the product was intended, but it's holding up well so far.
  7. Welcome John, former Buckeye here, love the new body style Charger.
  8. Through my thoroughly unscientific testing I would say brilliant glaze offers more shine, but virtually nothing in the protection department (not really asked), but H2O G&G has nearly the shine, but tons of protection.
  9. I have some of the older gen doubles and they are great for wax removal, detail spray final wipe downs, I tried them with H2O G&G and they were good at that too, but now 2 of them are a bit grey... Just saw the new version and I'm sure they are premium as are all products Adam's carries. I want to get some triple softs.
  10. There are no dumb questions, basically you want the cleanest surface you can have to start your correcting. Any leftover contaminates can put scratches in as you are working to remove them. guess I need to type faster...
  11. They are not bad looking, but I didn't fit too well when I checked them out at the auto show (6'4") and the seat to floor ratio felt off to me. The color is pretty awesome, there's a Tan that I like on the Tacomas too.
  12. I didn't try to use it that way, but mine just looked shiny. I had to work it around a minute until I noticed the plastic start to pull away.
  13. I like the new wheel cleaner better than deep wheel cleaner, it cleans as well, but doesn't seem as harsh. The smell isn't as chemically and with the red brush it builds great suds.
  14. I had a issue when I first played with the Visco clay, not stretchy, hard to mold and it didn't want to take an impression of the tool.... and then I realized there was a plastics wrap over the clay. I got the wrap off of it and it was just like the video. I hope I'm not the only one that couldn't tell the was a wrap on it at first.
  15. I don't believe I've seen an Adam's booth there, but if you close by it's worth a drive to Tacoma at the end of August for the LeMay car show that should correspond with the Open House event. There is a huge collection of ... well kinda everything between the family home and the Marymount location. http://www.lemaymarymount.org/lemay-car-show-2016/
  16. I've been known to go around the block after initial drying to knock any stubborn water loose....
  17. I had that happen on my Company car once, since it's not "mine" what can I really say, but I had it near perfect for a daily driver parked outside and they managed to put swirls in the black plastic along side the rear hatch..... IN ONE WASH!
  18. I just have a Sidekick and with good coat of sealant and wax I can almost get mine dry, so a Master Blaster should work even better.
  19. I saw the video on Youtube showing the features and the comments are not kind, mostly about price. I don't have one, but if they are like anything else Adam's sells I'm sure they are much better quality than even video can express.
  20. That's gorgeous! I slightly hate you.... , but seriously I've read great things on this model Vette and the white is my favorite.
  21. I have mine in a plastic tub lined with anti-static foam. My Sidekick is in there as well.
  22. I want that exact car as a Chevelle! Welcome to the forums from the American Vancouver.
  23. I pretty much do what you do, but mine stay fairly shiny. Not mirror shine mind you, but above SVRT. I would lean towards what James said above, your tires might be a little dry and the tire shine is soaking in, a coat of SVRT could help.
