I use the Liquid Paint Sealant with a layer of Buttery Wax.  It may be overkill but waxing is therapeutic.

Have you tried Adam's Detail Spray?  Most of us have found it to be far superior to anything you get retail.

I think I boo-booed.  During the warm weather a couple of weeks ago I put Liquid Paint Sealant over Buttery Wax.  One week I did a coat of Buttery Wax and the next weekend I put on a coat of LPS.  In the past I always put the LPS first, but this time I guess I had a brain fart and did the reverse.  Does it really matter?  It is too cold now to do anything about it but it looks just as nice.

IMO washer fluid is really only used when a car is dirty, if your windshield is dirty enough for washer fluid, your whole car probably needs washed lol

Really not a market we've got much interest in playing in as its more a commodity. A trip down the auto supply aisle at any store will show you the "Premium" gallons around $5 and the cheap ones under $2. Even looking around online its a space occupied by a ton of products that get the job done and at a price I doubt we could even manufacture and package something to compete.

Thats not to say I haven't tested a concentrate product, but wiper fluid is one of those things that works or doesn't. Its hard to create a premium solution and we're not much in the business of creating 'so so' products just to have a presence in the category. If we can ever come up with a solution that justifies a spot in the line b/c it does something better than the existing options we will, but so far not really a priority.

On a personal note - wiper fluid is one of those thing that I just pick up something reasonably priced and offers the right level of freeze protection for my climate. I've never noticed a dramatic performance benefit from one product vs. another.

SSJ455 reacted to Wingman520 in My first detail with Adams Products
Well my first time with what I'd consider the "starter kit" for adams polishes is simply amazing! I just recently started doing a detailing business on the side (not an official business) to just stir up some extra cash and fill a void I have on top of work, school, and a youtube show I do with my best friend.

I did a lot of my families vehicles at first using meguiars products since I knew the quality of them and what results they would give me. After my friend showing me Adams products and also telling me how awesome they were I was sold. I wanted to go the extra level, but I didn't have everything I wanted to make that "standard" of service and support I wanted. So I researched the hell out of Adams, watched videos, read the forums before registering. I then saw summit racing carrying their products, and went on a spending frenzy. I have acquired all of the products I needed to get a basic appearance for the interior and exterior to shine and be where I wanted it to until I got a machine buffer (Porter Cable 7424XP)

Well enough talk and more on the photos. Here is the before shots of my "official first" customer vehicle for my detailing gig I started, and the use of  Adams products exclusively (almost) on this camaro. (I haven't gotten your clay bar yet, I'm working on it haha)

For the record the before shots end when you get to the engine bay. From the engine bay shot onto the end is all after shots.

So after cleaning the necessary products by using Deep wheel cleaner for the wheels, washing with adams shampoo, clay barring with a clay bar (using megs until it's gone then onto adams clay bar) and finally using the rotary buffer along with adams finishing polish then topping the whole ordeal off with Adams americana wax. I am nothing but impressed and sold on these products for what level of clean they provide, and also how awesome this yellow just pops and the paint looks perfect (even thought it almost looks good enough haha. I apologize for the quality of some of the photos (they are on a mobile phone) I also thought I'd give you a short sample I got of the exhaust which was a Borla ATAK Exhaust. everything else (as you can see) is stock on this camaro. (sadly I can't upload the video to the website so no video shall be posted)

Now I just need to get my spray nozzle fixed on my interior cleaner bottle. I bought it and it doesn't work at all I had to swap it out with my quick detail nozzle after rinsing it out so I wouldn't cross contaminate the products haha. Thank you Adams for this great products! I can't wait to get some orange correction and pads to help complete my setup for detailing. Hopefully I'll get more customers and show you guys more cars that I detail as time goes on.

PS to Adams: If you wish to use the Camaro for anything on the website feel free to. I've asked the owner of this Camaro about using it, and they don't mind at all.

SSJ455 reacted to LimitedDodge in 2011 GS Corvette - Detailed & Cosmetic Changes
After saving for a little over 5yrs I purchased a 2011 6spd GS in March. The paint was pretty hammered. The car had some cheesy chrome trim around the marker and reverse lights. Also had some chrome along the rear diffuser and chrome corvette letters on the bumper. Had a terrible Tint job (2 piece on rear window). 3 Wheels had some bad curb rash. It wasn't exactly what I had wanted but I was able to purchase it for a really good price.

    Exterior
I immediately removed all the cheesy chrome trim and replaced the wheels with Identical factory wheels. I then removed the tint and had all the windows re tinted including front windshield. Replaced side marker lights with matching painted ghosted led marker lights. Replaced tail lights with led lights. Tinted all rear lights (brake light and reverse lights) on the car. Installed carbon fiber like vinyl to the emblems. Plastidipped the chrome grandsport emblems on the side of the car. Painted brake calipers black. Going for the blacked out look, but still a fan of chrome wheels.

    Interior
Installed new stereo with sub/amp front and rear cameras for parking, mats (front and rear), wrapped some pieces in carbon fiber vinyl, custom bass knob (matches factory ac knobs), shift knob, leather shift boot, leather padded center console lid, heads up display, led lighting, mild to wild switch.

    As far as the paint:
I used Flex for big areas, porter cable and 4" pads for smaller spaces and my drill with 4" pads for deeper scratches.

-Washed with Adam's Car Shampoo and two Adams Wash Pads
-Adam's Clay Bar while washing (wash a panel then clayed with soap)
-Adam's Polish's (still using the older formulas) - Used orange and white microfiber pads and finished with a white foam pad.
-Applied Americana to all painted surfaces - love this stuff
    -Applied Quick Sealant to wheels
-Adam's Brilliant Glaze to all paint and wheels - used a hex grip applicator
-Adams glass sealant to the windows
-Adam's Super VRT on all trim/seals and wheels - Use pro tire applicator on tires and blocks cut to shape for trim
    - Adam's In & Out on front and side grills/scoops
-Adam's Metal Polish 1 & 2 on the exhaust tips
    - Final wipe down with Detail spray and Single Soft towels

    Interior:
-Cleaned all surfaces with Adams Leather and Interior Cleaner
-Adam's Leather Conditioner  on seats, center arm rest, and shift boot
-Adam's glass cleaner and towels on windows
-Total Interior Detailer on All Plastic surfaces
    - Cleaned some spilled coke out of passenger carpet after removing seats with Adams Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner

Well as some of you know this car (Pitbull) has been a long build process. Its finally to a point where its worthy enough for a professional photo shoot.

Car has yet to be fully cut and buffed after repaint. Life has just been to hectic for me to spend the time to do the whole process. However, its sporting a coat of Brilliant Glaze and Americana, SVRT on all plastics and tires, and the metal polish twins on the wheels.

Big thanks to Jay Chapman Photography here in Houston for the awesome pictures.

Oh any my last name is Rush. I know a lot of people will not like the idea of it, but I am not jumping in full time. I have time to build the brand name.

SSJ455 reacted to Ricky Bobby in What do you use to apply sealant?
If applying by machine I personally recommend the 4" pad and backing plate as its easier to get into tight contours to spread a coat.

However, I am always surprised at the amount of people who don't wax/seal by hand, noting difficulty of removal.  I have been using a liquid paint sealant from another company for 4 years now and as long as you go by the phrase "Thin is in" meaning apply in ultra thin coats, and less is more, application and removal really is effortless.

Sometimes after hours of polishing with the machine I like the quiet and serenity of doing my LSP by hand, maybe I guess i'm in the minority though.

Try revive on a black pad to see if it'll remove the haze since you have it already. If not, then you'll want to get a finishing polish.

Just to be really really picky, your car doesn't have clear coat - it is tint coat. They put red in the clear as well.

Revive is a cleaner polish, I would use the Paint Finishing polish to remove the haze, with a white foam pad.
