Adam
Friends, I failed to test the red dispenser pumps on the Brilliant Glaze, Paint Correcting Polish, and Metal Polishes. We started sending bottles out with them installed anyway. Fact is, they work terribly. Awfully. Bad. And I'm not overstating this performance failure. These caps are a BAD fit for several products, and I owe you an apology for sending out a product without testing the method that dispenses it. The pumps work okay with some products, like VRT, Leather Conditioner, Shampoo, Buttery Wax, Liquid Paint Sealant, and Rinseless Wash. (Some hate the pumps altogether, and I can understand that.) I apologize for not spending more time testing these pumps. We don't often have failures of this level, and this was a big one. I blew it, and I'm sorry to have made your detailing experience less awesome. So, now it's time to make it right. Here is a link to the dispenser caps, which have an official price of $0.99 for 3 caps, which includes shipping. http://adamspolishes.com/adam-s-new-dispensar-pull-cap.html?___SID=U HOWEVER: If you have any product with a pump, and don't like the way it performs, we will send you replacement push-pull dispenser caps, FREE! Kindly use the code, "CAPS" which will make the purchase free. Have thoughts on this? Post away! Care to email me personally on this? Adam@AdamsPolishes.com Thanks, I again apologize, and appreciate your loyalty. Sincerely, Adam Pitale Detailer. Founder. AmyAtAdamsAustralia
Adam! Thank goodness! We did raise potential issues with the pump on first launch, having said that any possibility to have some sent our way with our latest order? Thanks for your support and continuing to trim the fat and making detailing awesome. Andycollins58
BRZN
Thanks Adam. Sometimes things slip by, it happens, it's awesome you recognize it and are going to make it right. Thank You!
pirahnah3
Adam, this just shows why you have such a loyal group here. Well done on bringing back the caps. I do agree that the pumps are nice for some things but not others. Again thank you for making it right.
Ricky Bobby
It happens Adam, good to see they are back and available, you're right, for some creams they are great but for other products not so much.
vobro
Thanks for the honesty! I for one never cared for the pumps, yes on the shampoo it "pumped" but was messy and the shampoo is very slick so when it runs down the bottle I'd drop it very time. I have rather large hands and the pump just made holding an applicator and dispensing a PIA. I guess I'd chalk it up to "finding a better way" when you didn't have too. Now onto admitting it was a mistake, I highly doubt most other companies would make a big deal over a cap/pump, Ive bought products and hated them and would call only to find out that "version 2" has replaced it with no admission of a failed product. I placed an order with a coupon code once at 10:45 pm and woke up the next day to check order status only to see a better code was now available, I called only to learn that I wouldn't get to use the better code cause "that's how sales work" I was drawn to Adams about four years ago when a buddy of mine told me that his Adams APC gallon jug split at the seam causing it to leak, he told me you sent out a new gallon PLUS a 16oz.. My long winded point is Adam's offers solid products,website,110% guarantee and seemingly a honest way of doing business whether it's disclosure of where the product is made or making a right from a wrong. These reasons are why I keep buying your products. ALF01 and Adam
GXPaycheck
Thanks boss! I just bought some of these, but haven't used them yet. Glad I kept the old caps. Burning the midnight oil there I see!
cev103
The important thing is that you are here admitting a wrong and making it right. This is one of the many reasons that I'm glad that I made the switch to Adam's....... Thanks for being a standup guy with a good business ethics! Gunny
We all make mistakes, after all we are human. It takes a stand up guy to admit it, and it just makes us more loyal to a guy that has the utmost integrity and character of himself and his product. At initial first use, I figured they weren't good on certain products, but like others, I kept the old caps and bottles, so I had no problem just swapping them out. It happened to work out that I needed pumps for my other hobby, so they didn't go to waste. Thanks for the honesty!

Furious Shine
From a dealer perspective I have gotten some complaints about them, but as a detailer I would be happy to see them go. Especially when storing a bunch of bottles in the large bag. Anything presses on the top of the bag and it creates quite a mess inside! Tanks for being honest on this and making it right! b_pappy

Roadking100
Adam, thanks for standing up and agreeing to make things right. Apology accepted. And thanks to Benjamin for sending caps to relieve my problems. Truly the style of customer service that I expect from a company that is "American". alextakesphotos
Weird. I seem to like the pumps a lot. Especially on the shampoo because I know 8 pumps means exactly 1 oz.
Mooser
I've got 2 here and I think another 4 or 7 on backorder. (for quite a while now, maybe I should look into that...) Looks like I'll have to be careful what they go onto. Anything they are for sure good to use on? (other than shampoo)

scuba
Adam, that's awesome of you to admit your mistakes publicly like this. Very rare for a company these days, and it also shows you're a man of integrity and honesty. This is why I love Adams Products and will continue to remain a loyal customer! USCGRetiredJosh
Thanks Adam, I'm also one of the people that like the old caps. I only use the pump nozzle for the shampoo bottle. I pump 10 times into the bucket and thats enough shampoo for me. All my other products I reuse the old caps or the spray heads. Thanks for the replacement caps.
