I'd put a good ceramic coating on that mofo ASAP! Will it help keep 100% of swirls away.....nope, but it'll help substantially coupled with proper washing techniques. Sadly adams doesn't offer one yet, but there are quite a few user friendly coatings out there for newbs and the protection is incredible. Just google search.

For my Jeep, LED headlights and adapters to attach my outside mirrors to the window frame so I can ride with doors off.

What do you do if you drive to work in a storm and it gets sunny all day and bakes the dirty rain water on your car?
 
As long as you have some type of protection on it you will be ok, for a car that sits outside all day i would recommend liquid paint sealant
I coated my wrangler about a month after I got it and it has made life much easier, I haven't washed it in about two weeks (it's been raining everyday) and it really helps things stay clean, Adams will be offering one in the near future

IMHO having a perfect car that sits outside all the time just isnt realistic (i have 3 cars and no garage)

Well, looks like the issue was solved and we even have some additional proof that confirms that at the VERY worst, even with an extreme case of misuse a fine polish will solve the problem. Rather than continue to sit here and have everyone exchange jabs I'm going to close it down and it can live on a a great example for people to reference when they experience a similar issue.
I'd also like to remind everyone that this forum WILL be maintained as a friendly and welcoming environment. If we find out that threatening, or disruptive behavior has happened via PM then we will remove those responsible.

It's a 16oz bottle, that'd be one expensive bottle of coating lol.

This time I didn't use Adam's shampoo because my car is coated so I prefer to use something slightly more aggressive.  Heck, I even pre-treated the lower parts with APC.
 
Here is about how much you need for one car if you use the method of spraying the gun directly into your wash mitt as you wash.  You only need 1oz of shampoo (Adam's is just as concentrated as what I used) for this amount of water.

IMO washer fluid is really only used when a car is dirty, if your windshield is dirty enough for washer fluid, your whole car probably needs washed lol
