Personally I would rather my wife have to lean over the hood/roof and possibly get her top wet with suds, its the little things that make me happy after a few years of marriage - so no wash pole for me.

I have the exact problem on my wifes inner windshield as its the only one without tint film applied to it -

My solution is to visco clay it, I think there are some bonded contaminants on the inside probably from sitting in a factory somewhere which makes it "sticky" - I call it "grabby" personally but I agree 100%

Visco Clay on the interior glass should not harm in the least and at least you will know its contaminant free, will update after I clay the inner windshield of my wifes car this weekend to see if it cures it.

I personally stopped using Glass Towels a long time ago. I have better results with a small waffle weave towel like that Waterless Wash towels.

Virtually no streaking and doesn't leave lint behind.

It's a great product as long as you keep in mind that you may need more than a single pass of the Strip Wash to remove all your old sealants and waxes.

^I agree with Dan - buy it during one of their sales for sure - also the "other retailer" you pay sales tax in probably more than half the states in the US right now - I appreciate vendors that don't have retail operations in my state so I don't have to pay more tax to the government than I already do LOL

I use mine all the time and have listed many uses

    -blow drying crevices
-if you have a good coat of sealant you can get your car 90% dry with it although it takes a few mins
-blow drying tires wheels and wells quickly so you can dress them and be done
-blow drying all weather rubber mats
-great for workbenches cleaning up dust and debris
-blowing dust out of interior before vacuuming and wipe down
-with a 3' extension hose from Metro Vac I also use it to blow dry my dogs after their bath safely and without high heat (better for the coat)

For the price and many uses its hard to beat!

Yes, LC can help recondition the leather.

This is a 1913 Peugeot that was rebuilt recently.  The leather was treated several times by hand over a week with Adam's LC.

Do a search we just talked about it recently with our American Bulldogs. Mine is 80 lbs with short white hairs. That's a small dog! Haha

Get a Ridgid shop vac at Home Depot and vaccum often. Avoid black interiors. Get all weather mats so you can apc and rinse them. Use sidekick to blow off the interior.

Use a plush open nap towel (multiples if doing a GDWM) and then dry with a waffle weave. Should only need a small one like the 16x24 waterless towel to dry.

Single soft is perfect - the double softs you have to use a lot of liquid if using multiples because they soak a lot up. Many of us just use standard 300-400gsm all purpose towels as well. It's all about technique.

I've been doing this for 2+ years now and works perfect.

Get this attachment and hold it at a 45 degree angle to the carpet and swipe side to side.  Not front to back.  Works every time and it doesn't matter the dog.  I have 4 German Shepherds and my wife regularly watches other peoples dogs of different breeds.

I might also add that it is really no more work than a regular vacuum job.  It is the technique.

Ricky Bobby got a reaction from TheWolf in Windows grabby on inside - TEST, but may need clay bar!
Guys I just got my car back from the body shop after a minor repair on the inside of one of my front doors - I was driving home and saw some haze on the inside of my front window on that door - "no problem, probably needs some cleaner"

Lo and behold, it was paint overspray, glass cleaner laughed at it.  I have window tint so this worried me, but thanks to a diluted rinseless solution and the visco clay which is really an ultra fine clay, I got the overspray removed off my tint with no marring whatsoever!

I also noticed that my towels would lint when I wiped the glass with overspray on it - after the clay bar there is no linting or grabbing on that window -

So for all you guys out there who are having trouble with grabby windows on the inside, you may actually have some contamination in there which needs clay to remove.

I urge you to TEST in an inconspicuous spot of the glass (lower corner), and with window tint, be extra careful, but it could be useful.  My wifes 2014 Jetta Sportwagen has an extremely grabby and linty front windshield and I will be claying the inside of it this weekend to see if that takes care of it.

Think about it this way, on the assembly line the glass is sitting in a shop somewhere and who knows if its close to a paint booth or areas where airborne contaminants lay - All I know is that her front windshield (inside) has been grabby and always lints my towels when cleaning it ever since we bought it.

Hope this helps some of us here, I personally had never had a need to clay the inside of any windows for any reason until my body shop experience, and then it dawned on me that my wifes windshield is probably in need as well.

In 98% of other circumstances though you should not need to clay the inner glass as it is not subject to the same airborne contamination as your exterior glass.

Ricky Bobby reacted to Odds and Ends in VRT on Door Panels?
I don't recommend using "conditioners" on non-porous surfaces, ie, Leather Condition is made to soak into the leather.  If you put it on plastic, it's not going to soak in - it's just going to "sit" there.  If that's OK with you, then so be it......it's not necessarily wrong to use it.....it just performs differently on different surfaces.

To the OP, VRT on dashes and door panels works fine but tends to have a little more gloss, so I will "knock it down" with a dry towel most times.  Again, this is personal preference.  Remember, the "V" in VRT stands for vinyl so it always makes me wonder why so many users second guess themselves about using it on their interiors.
