Glad all is well, accidents happen and we all live and learn. However for future reference, every fire dept that i know of has a few tools to help out in this scenario. And these are non damaging tools. They will only respond for people locked in the vehicle. Sometimes pets. But will not if its only keys, thats where the locksmith comes in. Some police may have the tools as well.
I have been on hundreds of these runs in my almost 20yrs as a fireman.
I would mention insurance for the window, but it's probably not even worth reporting.

The last 2-3 days I have been unable to use the "New Content" tab in the menu (top right, 4 squares inside a large square) on the mobile version of the website. I also checked the full site version. I cleared out cache and history in my browser. It returns with no new content. Even though I can see new content in the threads on the main page. I have been clicking each thread and reading the new topics in each thread that way.

    Thanks

Firebuff17 got a reaction from Nickfire20 in Polishing a few panels at time: question
I did my full size truck a few panels at a time. Here is how I worked it.
    Stripped washed the whole truck.
Day 1: clayed then 3 step polished the bed sides and tailgate then 1st coat paint sealed.
Day 2: clayed then Microfiber blue pad and orange foam pad corrected drivers side 2 doors.
Day 3: clayed then Microfiber blue pad and orange foam pad corrected hood and front bumper.
Day 3: clayed then Microfiber blue pad and orange foam pad corrected passenger side 2 doors.
Day 4: white pad corrected entire cab and 1st coat paint sealed.
Day 5: 2nd coat of paint sealant on entire truck.
I only had 1 set of pads of each step so it worked out well splitting it up into multiple days for time and equipment constraints. Took some planning for on my end for weather cooperation and work schedules but when the time came all went very smooth for my first time paint correcting.

I wish Adam's would do another die cut run instead of all these random ones. I'm not a sticker collector but if I'm going to put them on my car or gear, I definitely prefer die cut.

If personally just use paint sealant and guard and gloss. It's a fantastic combo for vehicles that live outside!

Finally finished correcting my Ram 1500 crew cab. Spent 2 days last week doing the drivers side 2 doors and hood front bumper. Clay followed by 3 step correction, then 1 coat of paint sealant. Today I was able to do the passenger side 2 doors and the roof. Did 4 step correction on the 2 doors as I had some pretty nasty scratches on the 2 doors from a flagrant/rouge shopping cart. Got most of the scratches out. Will probably need a wet sand and re-polish but it cleaned up about 85-90% with the 4 step. Then sealed the doors and roof.
Next week I will pull each wheel, thoroughly clean the rims and barrels and then seal them. Will also put a second coat of sealer on the entire truck.
Pollen season is here and it's killing me...literally and figuratively. Allergies are raging. Truck is constantly covered. Can't see all the hard fine work I have put into it.

Hi Jen, do you really want to know? I'll tell you. I use to have a neighbor she was a bit older but non the less she and her son should have know better. Everyday I would come home to doggy poopies in my yard, mind you I don't have a dog and I try to keep a clean place and not a eye sore. So every day this poopies would appear mysteriously. Finally I had to some investigative work and narrow down the hours that the poopies would appear. One day I came home around 11:30 am and dcide to leave my car on the next block and have lunch gazing at my very green lawn. When all of the sudden my neighbors son came home to his mothers house to walk her dog for lunch. In the house he went and grabbed the dog immediately for his lunch time walk. He walked the dog directly across the street into my yard and let the dog cut loose, just like my women j/k lol. As soon as the dog was done with his number two action, off the two love birds went. I walked outside to see where my neighbors son went and they were already half way down the block.

Pressure Building Up, I did some quick thinking, how dare this bastard do this and think it's ok. I wouldn't do this to anyone nor would I like it done to my house. So i did some quick thinking and let it go. So the next day I did the same thing I came home for lunch and did the same thing kept an eye out for my poor lawn. Soon I witnessed round two and I couldn't believe my eyes because I really was hoping he wasn't the culprit.

The Pay Back, as he walked away he knew what he was doing, I decide to teach him a lesson. He drove a older Toyota truck the had the sealed door handles. You can only imagine what happened next. I put on some gloves picked up hos warm dookies and had a stuffing party on both door handles. I went back to my side of the street no opened my garage pulled out a lawn chair and waited. As so as I saw the son come back I yelled out hey neighbor and waived. I guess in their culture they aren't friendly and keep to them selves. Even though he didn't live there he was doing his mom a favor walking the dog for lunch. He walked back into the house put the dog away and comes right out which seemed like for ever. He reached for that door handle and almost immediately felt something, then the sniff sniff went to work lol, you could sense the tension he ran back to the house. Lol

Moral of the story, you want a dog, pick up after it, because you know better, let's just say I never had that problem again!

I have tried to stick to only friends and family for my enjoyment, not to make money or get rich.

I have been asked several times how much I want, and quite often its jsut enjoyment for me as I dont have to be as critical as usual and can really relax doing it. When people push, I dont always ask for money, a lot of my friends its just "Hey lets get a couple cold ones and were even" for other family I have said take my wife and I to dinner with you some night. I have one aunt who doesnt ask anymore, she just  bakes me the cookies lol....yup they are good! Some days I just hear of them having a bad week and show up to wash a car because I feel like trying to make someones day a bit brighter.

Again for me its not about the money, and in reality you get it back just not in cash.

Now if you want to be cruel about it (Yup ive done this), just clean one fender of their car or HALF the windshield for free, Its fun watching the reactions especially if you dont tell them you did it. Yes my friends and I can be cruel to each other lol.

The only advice I will give, and it's very minor, on your next video, just move the power washer away from the camera. It killed the voice audio.
