    MRFLAGG99 reacted to cev103 in Paint Coating | FAQ's | Discussion
Couldn't agree more! I have a competitors coating applied to my Silverado which costs $99.00 for a 20 cc syringe of product. It only comes with a small foam applicator you still have to cough up money for the prep, towels and booster..... By the time you add all that up you'll easily exceed the cost of the Adams kit (and that's before the stand 10% Adams discount).
This is a new venture for Adam's and their customers, so they clearly decided to sell a kit that is well equipped so that the end user will have positive results and won't be set up for failure due to skimping out and not buying all the right products/equipment.

I look forward to applying this kit to my wife's vehicle.

Wheel Cleaner is the worst smelling product Adam's offers, however it's actually not as bad as some others on the market.

Can't argue with its effectiveness, though.

Just to let you guys know, I'm an Adams dealer in SW MO, and I happen to have a bit of quick sealant still in inventory. I never had much luck selling it, probably because I haven't really used it much myself. I do like it on wheels, though! I don't recall how much I have left, and of course I have to keep a couple of cans for myself   but would be happy to hook anyone up if you're interested.

    Guess I'm lucky
My Gmc Dealer always comments how if they were to wash my truck it would end up dirter than when I brought it in .. Then again I always detail it the night before I take it in

So I used my new foam cannon yesterday and I noticed something. The knob on the top is backwards! The "-" arrow points clockwise but I'm getting the most foam by turning it clockwise. Anyone else notice this?

P.S: this is the same way with my old foam cannon.

I'm with Rich on this one. The new Americana really is an outstanding formula that goes on and off nearly as easy as our Patriot Wax, with great depth and gloss, more durable protection, and a lower price point too.

I do believe Patriot Wax will be making a return, but how and when is for Adam to decide, and that's all I can say for now

I find that the NEW Americana is actually as good or better than the Patriot.  Goes on and off easier.  Amazing shine, And great protection.

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

BigFoot Production Officially Starts in the USA

Longmont, Colorado – July 27th, 2016 - Continuing their commitment to growth in the US market, RUPES announced today the beginning of production for a number of their popular BigFoot electric polishers at their North American facility. This event marks the first time that the primary manufacturing of the class-leading BigFoot tools will occur outside of Italy.

“It’s truly an honor.” says Chip Case, General Manager for RUPES USA. “The investment and the faith in our team here in the US to build these tools shows just how committed to supporting the US market RUPES is.”

Manufacturing tolerances and standards set in Italy are maintained in the Colorado facility, including strict quality control. LHR21ES and LHR15ES tools from the US factory have already begun to make their way into the market with the Mark II versions and other BigFoot models to follow by the end of Q4 2016.

After bursting onto the scene about 5 years ago, the RUPES BigFoot family of tools have become the preferred option for professionals and enthusiasts. With manufacturing of the tools now a reality in the US, the company will be able to provide even higher levels of service and produce tools to meet the ever increasing demand.

RUPES SpA is a one of the leading manufacturers of specialty electric and pneumatic tools as well as vacuum dust extraction systems for a variety of industries including detailing, body shop, industrial, woodworking, and marine.

It will be a bit before I can try it out.  Have my kids truck tore apart right now.  Fixing leak in oil pan, and replacing it.  Having to remove the front differential to get the pan out, and will fix a leak in that while I have it out.  As well as replacing the starter.  Not what I really want to be doing with that polisher in the house.  Happy to help my son out though.

I actually found it in the bottom of those mints that Rich sent me a while back.  He must have forgot that he left the polisher in there.  Not really.  I wish the buffer fairy left it.  Apparently I was number one on the preorder list at that other place.  Ordered it last Fall, and had to play the waiting game.

Definitely not the King, more like servant.  Learning everyday though, like everybody else on this Forum.  It is people like you Mike that help us learn.  Amongst others on the Forum that share their wealth of knowledge when it comes to detailing.  Thanks.  If I lived closer to some of you I would be happy to share.
