Everything I used was from Adam's except the sand paper. First I used 800 grit and used the dry sanding method. Then I went to 1500 grit and wet sanded. Then stepped up to 3000 grit and again used water. After that I used a microfiber pad and correction polish. Then went to a white pad with finishing polish. After that I wiped the lights down with alcohol. For protection I used LPS. Here is what I ended up with.

I have a question. Let's say it's been a year or two. I want to reapply the coating. Does it need to be machine polished, to make sure it's back to bare paint? Or can I clean it thoroughly with the coating prep and then reapply, like to reguvinate it??

I love the BG, it makes the metallic in my paint really pop. I did a strip wash and used H20 GG and then topped it off with BG and whoa!

I was in a hurry to get my mothers truck done yesterday before went to a cruise here in Ky. I wanted to throw a coat of glaze on it to give it a little extra pop. I was excited to use my new red hex grip applicator as well. Finished using VRT on the tires and started to glaze....or so I thought. I started applying and done a door and half the bed before I noticed something didn't look or feel right. I thought, why does it look so gooey on the paint. I touched it with my finger and it smeared. Then it dawned on me. I slowly rotates the bottle in my hand. And I could hear music, you know the kind. The kind of horror music they used in the old horror movies when someone is about to get stabbed. As I turned the bottle I already knew what I had done. I was applying VRT to the paint. Lesson learned, never set VRT and Brilliant glaze side by side with the labels turned backwards.

I'm the same way. Right now my junkie daily driver has, LPS, Brilliant glaze, Buttery Wax.. Then last week I used more glaze and H20 GG, and I just washed it using Wash and Wax lol. I'll eventually buy the Americana.

I rarely ever use the wheel cleaner. Regular maintenance and applying LPS or H20 GG and they stay pretty clean. Or, after a couple months I'll use the wheel cleaner then reapply LPS. Half a bottle per use sounds very excessive.

The more I think about it, the less I like coatings as well. I'd be ok with one if it were only rated at say a year or so. And it was layerable. I personally don't want a finish on my car doesn't need waxed or whatever for X amount of years. I like waxing, sealing and things of that nature. Only having to wash my cars would be boring.

I love the In and Out spray. It also great for smaller hard to reach spots in the engine bay.

It's only a matter of time till they do a coating for paint too. I wouldn't be surprised if it releases soon to go with the trim coating. I seen an IG story where it looked like someone's was applying a coating to the paint of a 370Z in what looked to be an Adam's facility. I could be wrong though.

Yea kind of bummed there. However, it could be something for trim and paint. That pic could be misleading a little.

Adams is releasing some very soon that'll probably work best for it. I'm sure someone from the team will chime in too.

All Adam's products used on this detail lol. It's raining here and I'm pretty bored. So I found this old forgotten model car that needed some help. It's took all of 5 minutes, but was fun. I mixed some car shampoo and water in a squirt bottle and blasted all the dust off then washed with a MF towel and dried. Then I clayed the car and topped it off with H20 GG. You can see the difference lol. It even makes model cars shiny lol. The interior I used just an old rag and que tips along with detail spray. And here are the result.
