Same issue here in CT. You WILL get a very expensive ticket for not clearing the snow off your car.

I have come across the following item that is a Foam Snow Brush - that is sturdy and won't scratch your car.

It is the True Temper Scratch Free Snow Brush by the Ames Company.  I think they can be found in Home Depot or ordered on-line through Amazon.

I  clear off the show but leave just a 1/4 to 1/2 inch of snow on the car- it will melt off after the car is heated up- and it won't cause a safety hazard as you drive down the road.  Lord knows we have all been behind THAT person that does not clean their car off and we are dodging ice shards and snow chunks!

I've ate like **** my whole life. 310 lbs by April of this year. I'm only 5'9. I'm long haul truck driver and gaining weight was easy when you don't get much excerise and lots of bad food choices at truck stop. My wife and I were having our first child so I decided I needed to change and set a good example for my son as I didn't want him to grow up fat like me. I weighed in at 310 lbs April 8th,2016. I completely changed my diet. Went from averaging 3000 calories a day and who knows how many carbs and sugar,to 1200 calories a day,60-100 carbs,60g of sugar or less. First 4 months no fast food or soda. That was hard. I ate at least 5-6 times a week before and drank at least 1-2 pepsi a day. I added in cardio and worked in some weight training just doing it all in my basement. As of today I've lost 100 lbs. weighed in at 210lbs. Havnt been that weight since 15 years old. Im getting my first gym membership Saturday as I need more equipment and I actually like working out. Hopefully be down to about 175-185 by spring. If any of you guys are truckers and your overweight, no excuse for it. I've used them all. I work 70-90 hours a week and found time to do it.

Def worth it! I tried it in my truck that while cleaned regularly there was starting to become a just not clean scent in it. Used the Odor Neutralizer (and probably a little bit too much) and wow its fantastic! The scent which is not bad at all hung around for a day or so but the odors never returned. Awesome product and def not one that you need in large quantity which is another bonus.

So I'd like to be the first one to jump in with a formal review. I received my Odor Neutralizer today and immediately took it outside to test.  I sprayed some into the AC intake vent and let it recirc in my car for a few minutes, and also sprayed each seat and floor mat.

Let me tell ya'll, if you haven't bought some yet, do it. I'm very critical of pretty much everything with a premium price tag, but Adam's really nailed this one. I'm extremely impressed.

First of all, it smells good if you just sniff the bottle, so that's always a good sign. Now my SUV is only about 5 months old, but I do have two very active dogs. They're always getting wet, sandy, you name it, and my SUV undoubtably has a musky dog scent to it. Well, it did anyways. I hopped into my car tonight to go out for drinks after testing the product at about 1300 ET this past afternoon, and it still has a slight scent of the Odor Neutralizer. No dog smell, whatsoever.  Again, I find the scent of the ON to be very pleasant.

I plan on heading the range early tomorrow morning, so I'll update this post accordingly, but I really think Adam's has a winner here. I'm hoping it's offered in the gallon size very soon, as I could most definitely use this around the house.

Thumbs up for Adam's chemists and engineers on this one. Thanks for another great product.

    Thanks for reading,
    Dustin

Claying works paint miracles for laying the ground work of waxes. Done like you've done makes that paint and wax combo work. Our Cadillac with phantom gray metallic never looked so good, with only 4000 miles on it, until I clayed it. I pulled so much brown debri off that paint I was puzzled even the windows were rough with brown debri. I'm convinced these new ultra high performance brake packages with fast wearing pads are to blame for it. The Adams clay bar was getting a work out the first time used and it did admirably. That paint now POPS. I used the Americana wax and clayed it, worth every second of that exterior detail.

So I just have to brag for a minute. I've used so many high dollar waxes on this car. $130 Dodo Juice Supernatural, CG white wax, CG 5050 paste wax, and many others. I thought that the Dodo juice was worthless and that the 5050 was alright.

I ordered the Brilliant Glaze and Americana along with my mystery boxes. The day before it was due to arrive I clayed the car to prep the surface. Within 2 hours of receiving my order I had completed the glazing and topped it off with the Americana. I've used many paste waxes and liquid waxes. The paste wax in general is more difficult to apply and removed when compared to a liquid wax. I read many reviews on the Americana PASTE wax and didn't really know what to believe. I just HAD to try it out for myself. WOW!! I was left speechless as I drooled over the perfect paint that was before my eyes. It all wiped on and wiped off as easy as all the reviews had said. Such a unique paste wax experience.

I'm a detailing fanatic and have spent well over $2,000 trying out MANY, MANY products. My Accord is a 2016 Touring edition with a white pearlescent paint. I was unimpressed with how little of a pearl effect I was getting with the other high dollar products. I swear that no other product has made this paint literally change colors. As you can see in the pictures below (No camera filters were applied or altered) just how different my paint appears on the lighting conditions. It went from the brightest white it has ever been to the softest pearl at sunset. The pictures don't even do the paint justice, but you can see the color change. I am a FOREVER customer of Adam's Polishes and have no need nor desire to "shine chase" anymore. You knocked this product line out of the park! Enjoy these pictures!

Brian- you are right- eating out can be tough.  Food is enticing!  I try not to eat out much and leave it for that special occasion where its the experience of dining out and being taken care of more than or the convenience of getting food quick.

When dining out you can try asking for half portions or share your meal with someone at the table. - Avoid the bread!, - ask for your protein to be baked or grilled versus fried, get double vegetables or a rice instead of French fries.

these diet choices will have you feeling wonderful in just a week or two!

    Good Morning!!
As your resident Florence Nightingale, I would like to encourage you all to seriously consider getting a Flu Shot!!  It  is one of the simplest ways to stay healthier from the months of October to May.  Please consult with your PCP if you have allergies to eggs and are unable to get the flu shot- there are alternatives!!
I am very happy to read all the great ways the Adams Community is trying to stay healthy!!  I will re-iterate a few great ways to stay fit:
    1.  DRINK WATER!!  avoid the sodas, fruit juices.....they are filled with nothing but sugar and fructose
    2. Try and eat fresh!  Fresh or frozen fruits and vegetables
    3.  Avoid Processed Foods- "Foods in a Box" they are packed with preservatives and artificial dyes, loaded with carbs, salt, sugars.
    4.  Eat quality proteins- wild fish- salmon, cod, free range chicken, pork, scallops, lean beef, turkey
    5.  Healthy snacks in between meals to avoid the "crash"...hummus with carrots, grapes, an apple with peanut butter...
    6.  Follow this rule - "eat like a King for Breakfast, like a Prince for Lunch and like a Pauper for Dinner....
    7  LAY off the Bread!!
    8. Get up and move!!! Walk for 30 mins each day, take the stairs when you can, park a little further from the entrance to a store
    9.  Everyone should see their dentist at least once a year for a cleaning and check up
10, Everyone should see their PCP once every 2 years for exam an physical- get screening tests and baselines to get ahead of disease and problems before its an emergency!

I hope everyone as a great Friday and stays safe!

I joined a crossfit gym this summer.  Workout M-W-F.  We have great trainers which makes all of the difference. I've always exercised a decent amount but have got to the point where it is worth it for me to pay someone else to tell me what to do.  I just show up and all of the workout decisions are made for me.  Plus, correct form, warmups, and stretching are emphasized.  They push me in a way that I am no longer capable of pushing myself.

I also make sure to get outside as much as I can with my kids and play with them.  I run with them.  Tackle them.  Wrestle with them.  Go down slides with them.  Ride bikes with them.  This can be hard at times, but I make sure to play with my kids regularly.  So many benefits of doing this.

Eating well is tough   Sunshine has great advice above.  I do feel much better when I try to avoid eating out as much as possible.

Get away from the screens.  We turn the TV and mobile devices off a few nights a week and figure out other things to do.  I spend more time in my garage now that I invested in all of these auto care products.  Its a great hobby.  Its better than sitting on the couch playing on my iPad and I get a lot of satisfaction from having clean shiny vehicles.

He is my hero and he doesn't even know it, I am proud of that kid. I'm on the left, he is the baldy on the right. We were pretty drunk in this picture, we had just gotten out of the Blue Man Group show at The Venetian (which was amazing I might add).

OMG!! I thought it was just me!  I completely agree with you about the beading being smaller!
We have been rained out quite frequently on and off all week and my car is outside while at work.  Since cleaning the exterior with Wash n Wax - the rain beads like crazy!!! And it flies off the car as I drive down the highway- no spotting either!

Mine beads fine, but looks like maybe the beads are smaller. I'm thinking MAYBE the beading is "different" (smaller beads) because less water is staying on the car! Whatever is happening, I'm thinking Wash and Wax is good stuff! (Sorry for using all these highly technical terms.  )

We paid a visit to the Adams Tent to purchase products and ask questions.  What a wonderful group of people representing Adams. They were great and patient in answering questions from a novice car girl.  I felt comfortable and left a bit more educated and confident!
