  1. I'll throw my hat in the ring for clay, too. Recommend you wash it, rinse (don't dry), then clay using DS as a lube in addition to the water left from the wash. Note you may need to do some paint correction as the clay could cause some marring, but the black spots could be gone. Left us know if this works...
  2. That's AWESOME! Looks like you just found a new sig block pic.
  3. Obviously, a lot of factors play in. But for a Daily Driver, PS should last at least 6 months. Since the Ceramic Paste Wax is advertised to last up to twice as long as carnuba paste wax, and Patriot, for example, lasts about a month for a Daily, I'd say that means the CPW will last about 1/3 the time as PS (or about 2 months).
  4. @Kyle@Adams, in addition to the one Jen posted, any word on more, new videos as discussed on here?
  5. Welcome to the addiction! @mc2hill has you covered with where to start, so I'll only add the article you should absolutely read first is the Wax vs Sealant forum...answers a ton of questions almost everyone new to detailing asks, and maybe even some for those of us that have been around for a while. Lots of great info and even better people on here, so ask any questions you have!
  6. I prefer TRC to APC on tires, too, just thought it might be something else to try.
  7. That looks like chemical residue to me, too. What kind of tires? Maybe someone else on here has them and or has seen that happen.
  8. First, welcome! Be sure to post an intro in the new member forum to introduce yourself and tell us what you're keeping shiny. To your question...any pics? My initial reaction is to switch the TRC and WC steps...so WC first, rinse, then TRC. The latter shouldn't stain your tires, but the WC or residue might. Have you tried Eco APC to remove the stains in the meantime?
  9. Can't wait to see the pic, Lenore! BTW, what do you loan to someone visiting from CO?! Besides cupcakes, that is!
  10. Maybe you got 12 and they had to shortchange the next guy.
  11. Don't recall it being offered before, but yes, I'd compare it to a Mystery Box/Bucket only it's a case.
  12. Prevailing theory is start with least aggressive first and work your way up. So, FP on white foam pad first. If that doesn't work, try the 1-Step on an orange foam pad, and move up to a microfiber pad if you still aren't happy.
  13. Welcome, Ron! Great to have you here!!
  14. Don't hold the metal-tipped spray nozzle (why so sharp, Adam's...WHHHYYYYY???!!!) from the premium Foam Gun too close when spraying out the wheel wells. Otherwise, you might create a scratch that won't come out despite trying every pad and polish you have in your arsenal...and wanting to utter a few words not suitable for all audiences. ?? ?
  15. Nice work, Shane. Agreed on that CC interior; the two-tone is awesome.
  16. Otherwise known as "VRT milk," this is a good option to try.
  17. +2 on Revive. Then +1 on BG to make the trim pop (if only for a short while).
  18. They are not the same, diluted or not. The common saying is diluting RW 16:1 produces a Waterless Wash-like solution. Yes, getting the gallon of Rinseless will go a lot further at a more economical price point. One thing you'll miss, though, is the WW smell...certainly one of my favorites from Adam's. But you can always mix in straight WW to the cleaning session on occasion just to enjoy the smell!
