  1. Not a fan at all of the wheel woolie handles. Waaaayyy too small, and asked a while back about improving them. Still waiting. Anyway, I added a bike handle. Heard about others using a putter grip and considering switching to one to work on my stroke while washing my car. Talk about therapy!⛳
  2. Clay is good at removing bonded contaminants since that's its purpose. A soak with Waterless Wash or Rinseless Wash diluted 16:1 might also be a good alternative. Maybe even Iron Remover. Can you post a couple pics?
  3. Welcome to the addiction, Travis! I was at the same clinic, so may run into you in the future. Hope you enjoy the thread Jen/@8675309'SS referred you to...we've all been (and continue to be) there ☺️.
  4. Do you mean foam gun or canon? Menaing, hose or pressure washer used? Most engines today are well sealed and can withstand a cleaning, but do you have any open air filters, after-market parts, etc? P.S. Welcome! Post an intro for us in the New Member forum when you get a chance.
  5. That's awesome! Now to ask your wife to make a shirt for the rest of us.
  6. Welcome, Chris! Whatcha keeping shiny?
  7. Welcome to the addiction, Holly! Car looks great.
  8. Wow, Dustin. Talk about making the new guy the "driving force" of the ship. I'm actually more concerned about where you are in pics 2 and 3....
  9. Hopefully it's not as bad as it sounds with the clear coat, etc. But if the detailer damaged it, I'd say you're in for a refund and maybe payment for damage, at least. Not sure I'd trust them to try and fix it, though. Standing by for pics.
  10. Adam's sells this truck brush. Might be of interest. https://adamspolishes.com/adam-s-truck-brush-combo.html
  11. Perhaps it did rain and you just can't tell. Looks great, JR!
  12. Wheel Woolie for a tool, and Eco APC and/or Wheel Cleaner for the chemicals. https://adamspolishes.com/shop/exterior/wheels-tires/adam-s-wheel-woolie-combo.html
  13. That sucks. Any pictures to help the group weigh in?
  14. Based on other posts, one bottle should be enough for a few cars. But you should get another applicator or two for the other cars. FWIW, my applicator turned hard overnight after one application of trim coating. As for washing after polish, there's no real benefit since you'll use the Ceramic Prep to clean the surface. Remember, prep is everything!
  15. I applied trim coating over stickers on an Xterra, namely on the cargo hold adjacent to the roof rack, without issue.
  16. Oz has you covered above. Now's the time, too...15% off for Father's Day. Enjoy!
  17. Thanks, Shane. What I should clarify is I have a few leads to details for customers, so just checking options. They all came today, too...must be summer! Am I legit in saying the car is polished and sealed after using One Step? Granted, shorter lifespan than true PS, but want to make sure I'm being honest.
  18. Can and/or should Paint Sealant be applied after One Step? If so, remove the One Step residue? How, without removing the One Step sealant?
  19. Older topic, but reviving to say I found out it was accidentally deleted. Hopefully they release a new, updated version - this was one of my favorites. Hint, hint, Adam's team!
  20. If they were still seeing double, they may think you did all of the glass and hood. ?
  21. Welcome to the addiction, David! Before you apply the Paint Selant, be sure to strip wash the car to remove any wax, etc. Also recommend you clay the car, which may also lead to paint correction. The polish is what will help add to the depth and shine of the paint. PS needs to have a naked surface to bond to the paint. Recommend you use Adam's Strip Wash, but you could also add a few ounces of Eco APC to your wash bucket. The sealant will be the base layer, then you can layer Americana over it. Your plan to use Buttery every month or so sounds good, then Sealant and wax again in about 6 months. You might also want to look into HGG as a maintenance product. Super simple to use, it adds great protection and a ton of shine. My favorite Adam's product. Here's a great article that addresses some of your questions and then some...
  22. Welcome! Be sure to post an intro in the New Member forum. For your interior, the Interior Detailer should be all you need, especially for such a new truck. The Leather and Interior Cleaner is a pretty strong cleaner, and I'm not so sure you should or need to use it on the wood trim areas. Instead, it's meant more for stains, ground-in stuff, etc. Have you also picked up some Leather Conditioner? If not, get it. It has some mild cleaning properties, adds SPF 65 to the surfaces (not just for leather, but can be used on the dash, door panels, etc.), should be used to treat areas cleaned with the LIC, and it smells awesome. Now, let's see some pics of that truck!
