SumBeach35
How did you get the new DS so fast? Mine shipped smartpost and apparently is taking 12 days to go from CO to FL. Oh nevermind mine is in Georgia. Unless it takes 10 days to get to me from there, I should be able to try it this week. Glad to see you liked it! It came in my mystery bucket

ZMAN024
Weekly Wash and Detail - 2016 Charger Hellcat Looking for a solution to keep the rotors from rusting. Seems to happen when I hit them with the Sidekick after a full decon with the Wheel Cleaner. It seams the heat combined with the raw metal are perfect combo for the thin coat of rust. Any solutions...............
Chonke
@Oz nice hellcat! My favorite solution to rusty rotors is to drive it lol
ZMAN024
Hahaha. Agreed, but it's hard to watch all of my hard work go down the drain after taking it out on the street for a quick rip. On average, I spend an hour to an hour and a half cleaning wheels before each wash.

It will significantly reduce the time it takes to clean them. ExcellentAmp

imcrazy
2016 Silverado LT Car shampoo, autoscrub prep pad, VRT, a little correcting polish here and there, finishing polish all over topped off by Liquid Paint Sealant and a little h20 Guard and Gloss for the tough to seal areas. Used the ole porter cable DA polisher to apply the products. 2016 Malibu LT 1.5 Turbo Just a quick Car Shampoo, autoscrub, then h20 guard and gloss... Came out pretty darn nice. falcaineer, Nickfire20, ocdrifter and 2 others

ZMAN024
Sweet ride. Maybe drive back and forth a few feet each, enough to knock the rust off but not too much "mess things up." Thanks for the tip. I'll try it and see what happens. I do usually drag the brakes lightly for the first 100 yards or so, but it still produces some light brake dust. falcaineer
ZMAN024
Gorgeous car! Miss my Charger, same issue w the brakes not sure on a solution other than the rolling back and forth a bit. Thanks for the kind words. Believe it or not it's actually my wife's daily driver, so my hard work on the wheels only lasts until her first trip out during the week. I'm waiting for my latest order to arrive. I will try the H2O G&G. The wheels were treated at the dealership, but that's probably all gone after 3 months and a dozen washes. imcrazy
Aaron those truck pictures are awesome! I dont think ive seen that Silverado color in person, looks great Thanks! I took the pics in my backyard. It is Tungsten Metallic or as GMC calls it Iridium Metallic... It has a lot of variation based on the lighting conditions, the wife and I both really like it. I got her Malibu in Nightfall Grey, it's more grey than the Silverado but, very similar. Nickfire20
