mc2hill got a reaction from Chuckkilo3 in Pressure Wash Gun vs Foam Wash Gun
If you are looking for the 'snow' foam type experience, then yes you need a pressure washer gun. The hose-end gun does a decent job at producing foam, but it does not cling very long.

Welcome Will!
You will probably need a machine to remove the scratches. But throw up a picture and we may be able to suggest something else.

Something that popped into my head today - having two keys for your car! One for the door and one for the ignition - what a pain!

Try Jimbo's barbecue - excellent ribs, very good pork, and good sides. But beware - this is a barbecue joint, not a fancy place - the restrooms are 'out back'.

There was a chart available at one time, but I believe with the introduction of new products it quickly goes out of date.
The listing of videos is a good place to start.
But,
Exterior
Clean wheels and tires wash (Rinseless or Car Wash Shampoo (+ 2-3 oz of APC) dry Clay (if needed - do 'baggie' test to confirm) polish - hand or machine) protection - Sealants or Wax (or both! - but Sealant first)
Interior
vacuum clean surfaces treat surfaces OR do both steps in one with TID
Admire...

65 Pontiac GTO. As a retired drag car she was in rough shape but I got her respectable looking again.

And that usually comes from people who drive a soul-less piece of A to B transportation.
The team principal of Ferrari F1 had a great quote the other day: "We need to get back to having the car seen as an inspirational theme and not just as a means of transport, which adds nothing to our existence."
Coming from a person who details some pretty cool stuff: it's never JUST a car!

Stick with the PC, BUT add a pair of the MF Cutting pads - http://www.adamspolishes.com/p-954-adams-65-orange-microfiber-cutting-pad.aspx. This will significantly cut down the time for a correction. The MF cutting pad can usually be finished with PFP and a white foam pad. so still just 2 steps!

Took a customer of mine to dinner along with my son. Very nice of him to take the time to talk to my son about a career in flying and the path to get there. He has been flying commercially for a lot of years. He challenged my son to get his private license in 1 year. Now dad needs to cough up the cash for lessons. Excited to see my son pursue a career that he has wanted for a lot of years.

Gonna do the other side tomorrow and get it all finished up.

Done, email confirmation should be inbound. Threw in 2 extras also, just be sure to ease up on your Popeye grip when you put the sprayers on next time.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Its certainly been a fun run here and I've met a lot of great people, made a ton of connections, and shared some special times with people that I probably otherwise may have never met. Its weird how a little internet community has so dramatically changed my life and the people I'm connected to.
I'm more than confident that Nick and the team will carry the torch for me and keep this thing headed the right direction. Matt is going to expand his role here and become more than just our outgoing social media guy... look for these 2 to bridge the gap between our facebook/instagram and the forum and offer you guys even more interaction and fun going forward. They're two creative, friendly, and capable guys and I couldn't ask for better people to step into my role on the forums going forward.
Plan next hasn't really been nailed down just yet, but my availability has certainly drawn some attention... I'll be sure to update the team here on where I end up landing and they can pass that info on.
Thanks to all of you again for all your kind words and encouragement... I'm sure you'll see more of me in the future and I always welcome you to connect with me online via facebook if you haven't already:

mc2hill got a reaction from csrt4 in How I can detect if the paint/clear coat are soft or hard?
You can not always tell what type of clear the car has so I work a 2ft x 2ft. test section first to get my polishing plan - polishes + pads. Sometimes it take 2-3 test sections to get the combo right.
