The Guz got a reaction from King Funny Bunny in Final Prep for Advanced Graphene Ceramic Doating
Your plan looks solid and I agree incorporating an iron remover is a good idea. Also there is not need for a full correction. That is a misconception. Let your test spot tell you what needs to be done. Paint on new cars is already thin to begin with so no need for any unnecessary work.
Also you can lightly polish PPF by machine.
With regards to the coating, don't let others experiences deter you away. Take your time and have good lighting. Once you figure out your flash time its a breeze. Expect to have high spots especially if you are new to coatings as one tends to go heavier than normal.
Your maintenance regiment sounds good as well. Check out this thread for maintenance tips.

Coatings are not a miracle product. Wash it and report back. In general rain does not cause water spotting.

The Guz got a reaction from King Funny Bunny in Layering graphene advanced coating after time
It is a one layer coating. A second layer is more of an option.
Read this thread and it will guide you on how to maintain the coating and how to refresh it.

The Guz got a reaction from mc2hill in Vinyl wrapped car - Adam's Graphene Coating 60ml
1. The temperature and humidity are going to dictate the flash time. You will have to figure that out. Apply to a certain area and time it. The coating rainbows so when it starting to dissipate that is when you want to get it off. Longer than that and it will be more difficult to remove.
2. Wash, dry, panel wipe and apply the coating.
3. Yes. You want to use a soap that contains no wax, ceramic or gloss enhancers.
The coating will give it a more rich appearance. It will darken it but make it look richer but not glossy. Here is a set of matte wheels to give you an idea.
The enrichen look will last a long time. Hard to say exactly how long as the climate is different for everyone.
The coating needs 24 hours to cure. After that you can drive it.
I prefer low nap pile microfiber towels. I use 300gsm edgless towel from a well known towel company. I find them to work better than a suede towel and super plush towel. Again personal preference.
The coating can get wet after 24 hours.

The Guz got a reaction from falcaineer in Question - Detailing 2016 Mercedes
Unfortunately there is no set number of times a vehicle can be polished. A paint gauge does help to understand the amount of material is left on the paint. With that being said you should be fine polishing again without removing too much paint.

The Guz got a reaction from Norton in Adams Ceramic Graphene spray doesn't seem to do anything as far as I can see
What do you mean the paint becoming a "little faded/cloudy looking"? Is the paint exhibiting clear coat failure? Photos would help.
What was the humidity in those temperatures?

The test spot is your friend. You could start out with the polish or one step and determine if you have to go more aggressive. Then come back with the polishing step and finally use whichever protection you like.

Exactly as mentioned. One additional thing to add is don't cover the car when it is dusty. That is asking for scratches. You will also want to on occasion wash the cover for that exact reason.

Biggest question is what kind of polisher did you try? It makes a big difference. New DA polisher technology is awesome.

The Guz reacted to Norton in How do I get the most bang for the buck on shark grey C7?
"The most bang for the buck" on just about any car, including a Shark Gray C7, is found in proper cleaning, correction, and ceramic coating. My C7Z is Elkhart Lake Blue Metallic, rather than Shark Gray, but the shine shown here was accomplished with all of the above. Limiting yourself to "hand polishing only" limits the shine you'll achieve, increases the level of effort to maintain it, and forces you to repeat the "hand polishing" process more frequently. YMMV, but that spells low ROI to me.

Why are you not interested in machine polishing? It will give better results and is less taxing on the body.

The Guz got a reaction from ericgavinroberts in Graphene Ceramic Coating Streaking
Could have been left too long with that temperature and humidity. That plays a large role in how a coating behaves. Also it could just nor have been wiped off completely. Sucks to go back and fix high spots but they are easy to fix.

The Guz got a reaction from Norton in Graphene layering
Exactly. No need to follow up with all those other products. Use the spray coating and you can use the other graphene products to maintain it.
