So i finally got a chance to bust out the swirl killer and try for the very first time paint correction. Here are some things i learned.

Least aggressive method is the best way to go. As stated by many in the forums. My car is a 2017, I've had it 5 months. Thought just correcting polish and orange foam pad would do it. Nope, not enough.

Without a mini sk, its possible to hit certain angles, but expect polish to fly. My mercedes has some contours where i had to use the polisher like an angle grinder, flung some polish, but wiped it off.

Always keep the pad on the car when stopping, first one i started to lift off and polish flew on me lol, such a noob!

Never be afraid to try this, I'm not a pro, and i probably went too quick over some spots, but it looks x2 as good as before.

So without further ado here are some pics, was tough to capture the swirls with the sunlight.

P.s. using a polisher for lps or glaze is the cats pajamas, it was speed city and took like 5 mins compared to like 15 or 20 by hand.

Hey Logan! Thanks for signing up to the forum and for trying out our products!

Your truck is already looking great in that picture, but with all of the products you mentioned, you can keep it that way for a long time to come!

Doing a two bucket wash is a must in my book, and having a good drying towel like our Great White Drying Towel (I would recommend the 2-pack for a truck) or the awesome new Ultra Plush Drying Towel we released a few weeks back - it's pretty amazing at the amount of water it sucks up, and it's very safe on the finish. Both work excellent in combination with our Detail Spray as a drying aid.

I would also recommend our VRT - Vinyl, Rubber, Trim dressing for the black plastics and rubber moldings on the outside, as well as the tonneau cover, if you don't already have a bottle. You can use it on your tires too for a satin look, or I would recommend our Tire Shine for a higher gloss look if that is preferred.

Our H2O Guard & Gloss will add high amounts of gloss on top of the Buttery Wax you already have, and it will be a little more durable for a daily driver that may see a lot of sun exposure. One application of H2O Guard can last up to 2-3 months in some cases!

If the fender liners are plastic, our Undercarriage Spray is a super easy way to keep them nice and dark and looking great, but I don't really recommend it for carpet-lined wheel wells.

Lastly, I would recommend our Tire & Rubber Cleaner for scrubbing down the tires if they ever get very dirty and discolored.

Hope that helps and let us know if you have any questions! -Dan@Adams

So i picked up my car 3 months ago. A friend of mine saw it at work and told me to bring it over so we can detail it. I didn't know anything about Adams, now im hooked. Put in my first order last night. Looking forward to learning how to keep my car looking nice. I have a couple questions already  . thanks in advance for all the help

first question is can i use the waterless spray to clean the roof?

second what could i use to clean the wood grain and chrome part of my interior?

And last my friend and I sealed and wax when it was getting dark and we missed some spots. Whats the process to correct these imperfections? thanks again

Super impressed with this cart. Very handy to use while detailing.
My father owns a heating and cooling company and had his sheet metal shop make the top plate for me. Here's the result:

So I started with a 3 bucket wash.

Blew off the water with the Master Blaster Revolution.  Didn't really need much drying after blowing it off, but wiped any remaining water with the new Ultra Plush Drying Towel (a bit of overkill).

Then broke out the serious stuff. Started with the Visco Clay Bar on the hood first, then roof, and trunk and front end. All went well until I dropped the clay bar right on the cement floor onto some small rocks so it went into the trash.  Fortunately I have another older Adam's gray clay that, if I don't drop this one, will be plenty to finish the car. Clayed it all using Detail Spray, then hit it with the Paint Correcting Polish, Finishing Polish, and a good coat of Patriot, all done with my Swirl Killer combo.

Now, you guys who have known me here since day one, know that I have ALWAYS been a "by hand" guy. So this is my virgin journey with the polishers.  FANTASTIC!  These things are so easy to use and get amazing results.  Now I'm kicking myself in the rear for not switching sooner.   Absolutely love these things.
Anyhow, the mrs. took a few pics.  I still have the sides to finish up tomorrow, but I'm kind of looking forward to it.
Dan and Adam, you saw my car under the lights at Rizzos and both commented on how great it looked. That was just hand polish. You should see it NOW!!  WOW!!   Makes me want to take it to a parking lot and just look at it at night.

    Forgive my nakedness.

I was considering getting a water Deionizer like the one pictured and I was wondering if it's worth it? Some of the pros I can think of is it makes Wax/sealants last longer, can wash on hot day with no water spots. Some of the cons are it's kind of bulky and of course the price.

I received this booklet along with my order of the new Interior Detailer (which is amazing by the way). I really like these booklets. I will be giving it to a co-worker that I've turned onto Adam's recently

One of the reasons I got the headlight kit, is that you can also get seperate 4" blue foam pads, and use them with metal polish 1&2. Itll make polishing rims or other aluminum things much easier with the drill.

Can't believe I didn't think of this before...we may all be able to make $500, at least, from the "elite." Empty a GC and TS bottle, fill both with DS, then sell them together with an actual bottle of DS and some pink/branded Adam's trinkets on eBay. Voila.

Edit: Add some Ceramic Boost to the "GC" bottle. Just for good measure.

I would not like them being all the same color. With my luck i would mix them up and spray tire shine on the paint when meaning to do detail spray.

I've tried those in the past. Clay is better. That being said, maybe Adam has one that will work.

In preparation for the upcoming Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle, PA I wanted to clean up our 2015 Hellcat wheels. We get a lot of brake dust (particularly in the front) which makes cleaning difficult.

This is what the wheel looked like before I started but after I washed it like I normally do on the car.

I started with Adams Wheel Cleaner to pull the iron off the wheel.

I then washed the wheel again with Adams Strip Wash. I clayed both the front and barrel of the wheel. After claying I used Adams Finishing Polish, a white foam pad, and my Rupes Mini to polish the barrel. I used a blue hex applicator with the Finishing Polish on the front of the wheel. I washed the wheel again to help remove the polish. I next moved on to the Adams Coating Prep and wiped down both sides of the wheel. I then applied the  Adams Ceramic Wheel Coating per the instructions. It went on and off super easy. To avoid high spots I rolled each wheel out into the sun so I could see what I missed. I also coated the calipers the same way (minus the polish).

This is after the coating and a coating of Adams Ceramic Boost.

Caliper after the coating was applied

I am more then pleased with the results! The coating itself was super easy to apply. The hard part is getting the wheel completely cleaned and polished. I can't wait to get the wheels dirty so I can see how well they clean up!
