Rich got a reaction from buffalobob920 in 2021 Corvettes at Carlisle
A few more weeks. Had to rent a scooter for the mrs. this year ($90 a DAY!), but I'm going to use it too, probably more than her. Hey, why walk when I can ride!! And like everyone, I'm not ready for summer to be over so fast. But I'll welcome cooler weather. This heat is miserable.

I just use the polish on my Vette and it's Graphene Spray Coated as well. You should be fine with that and the white pad.

Rich got a reaction from BrianT in Using wheel cleaner to decon ceramic coating?
Kind of explains why you would polish after claying. I still prefer clay over chemicals.

No, Wheel Cleaner isn't designed for anything more than iron removal besides cleaning aspects I know you said otherwise, but I would recommend Fine Grade Clay. Use lots of Detail Spray and go from there.

Rich reacted to The Guz in CLEAR COAT BURN ?
From that photo it looks like that area has been sanded and never finished out. Was that area ever repainted?
It is possible that it is burn through.

For me, it lasts between washes. I put it on every time I wash the car.

Rich, I can assure you that you'll be fed well if you show up at my house in South Carolina.
With Chris agreeing to send Mary on a trip, we can have a good party at my place, since the Chef is always willing to cook for people who enjoy eating.

Get one of those spinballs that attaches to your drill. Helps a lot!

Welcome to the forum Robert. Once you see the results from cleaning and detailing the right way, you won't ever go back to the way you used to do it.

Rich reacted to Brewder in Prep frustrations...
I can say it definitely was not the Dawn soap, but it ultimately was a self inflicted mistake. In my haste, I didn't buff all of the polish off prior to using Surface Prep. After re-washing (again with Dawn), 90% of the cloudiness was gone, except on the hood where I used an exceptional amount of polish. Again, my rookie mistake.
I re-machine-polished the hood and it came out great. I then coated the car and it looks fantastic. I don't have pictures as it's a miserable/rainy day but definitely turned out great after I got past MY mistakes.

Looks great with the black top! Nice project. And I'm glad you caught us up to date with it. Looking forward to your next "installment".

Rich got a reaction from Black Bowtie in Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating Advanced without Paint correction
I have both of my rides protected with the GSC. Full correction with polishing is the way to go. Without the polishing, you're not going to get the BEST results.

Thanks Scott. She sees the Ortho on Wednesday. Hopefully she'll get some answers then. Right now, she's using a walker in the house, and can't go out except to get into the car and go for a ride. Shopping, walking, etc. are out. She's still saying she's going in August no matter what. So if we don't make it to GM, we'll see you at Vettes.
