Hi Big John, and welcome to the forum! We offer a full ceramic line of products, several of which would be good companion products to your coated vehicle.
Adam's Ceramic Boost is a maintenance spray that we recommend to use once per month with our ceramic coating. It will refresh the hydrophobic water repelling properties of the coating, while adding more slickness and shine. It is applied to a clean, dry paint surface. Our Ceramic Waterless is a waterless wash spray, infused with some SiO2 ceramic protection. It can be used to remove dust and light dirt with our Waterless Wash Waffle Weave Towels. Adam's CS3 is our newest ceramic-infused product offering. CS3 stands for Ceramic Spray - (1) Clean, (2) Shine, (3) Protect. It has the cleaning power of Ceramic Waterless, the gloss and shine of our Detail Spray or Brilliant Glaze, and the protection of Ceramic Boost all into one product. It's easier to apply than Ceramic Boost as well in my opinion, especially on darker colored vehicles, where Ceramic Boost can sometimes streak if too much product is used. Lastly, Wash + Coat is a ceramic-infused concentrated soap used for a normal Two Bucket Wash, Foam Cannon with a pressure washer, or Foam Gun.  Let us know if you have any other questions!

I CSC both my cars. Although I CC both of them in the fall, i couldnt resist the BF deal so grabbed the CSC.  (I know it’s probably overkill).
The CSC is sooooo easy to use.  It was very easy to apply and remove.  I was afraid of streaking on my black car, but it was much easier to remove then First gen CB!  Nearly streakless!   Probably used less than 1/3 of the bottle for both cars.

    Welcome.

A properly installed ceramic coating should last longer than six months. So there’s no need to reapply that soon, especially with proper maintenance.

The number one reason coatings “fail,” isn’t failure at all. It’s contamination. Ceramics are not maintenance free, which you seem to get.

We encourage our clients to come back yearly for maintenance service. Some come back more often for an abbreviated service. We will always clay the vehicle. Depending on the coating and condition we will polish and reinstall a top coat (many pro level coatings are a multiple part application).

But your plan sounds solid and should make your coating last for years. Clay treatment on your vehicle is vital to keeping your coating functioning.

You should not need to apply the coating 6 months down the line.  With proper maintenance it will perform just fine for a year or two.  I say this because the paint will more than likely need a repolish not only to restore gloss but to remove any marring developed over that period of time and also road grime which can stain paint.  More readily seen on light colors.  At most a chemical decontamination wash every few months is a good idea.  I would not recommend claying as it has the potential to marr the surface and the way to fix that is polishing.

Seeing as your truck is garaged contamination should be relatively light.

If I had a black vehicle I would not touch it until its weekly wash.  The more one touches the paint the more chance of risking marring.  With that said most people like to constantly touch their paint and you plan sounds fine.

The first time I used the new updated detail spray formula was the 20 yr anniversary . My son and I used it as a drying aid. Both of us thought it had a tendency to "push around"
alot more than the original formula. Outside temps were in the low 50's. Also, stained our white drying towels permanently. I ordered the new Frost detail spray because it was the new formula and  white or light colored (yea). Used it yesterday back to back as a drying aid and on a dry car, right next to   the original detail spray. The new formula is definitely harder to wipe off ,much more streaking to get a clean finish. (new Frost color does not stain towels though). Both my son and I think the original formula still will be our go to detail spray at this point.
Sometimes the old standby is the best!

Look what showed up today!  Means next week they’ll be able to start wrapping the car!  More pics to follow...

PS - I hate the fluorescent lights since they don’t show the color shift well at all.

Thats an easy answer for me.  Its my 94’ Acura Legend 6 speed coupe! I had about 50k miles on it and traded it in around 2001.  Although i still loved it at the time i was commuting into NYC and figured there was a better chance of it getting stolen than not! I figured i was giving the car a chance and let her go!😢
I look everyday for a replacement..probably several times a day! My favorite site (other than this one!) is Bringatrailer.com (BaT).  Awesome cars.
they had my dream car last week...unfortunately sold for over what i was looking. ($25,500!😳).  I dont have pic of my actual car but this car is exactly what im hunting for .

Its beautiful as it is!! But if we are going with a change...since its already orange..cross the “matte orange” off the list!  I do like the orange (either matte or as is)  but if you are going to put in the time and expense,....GO different!!!
Cant wait to see your work!

Thanks for the response @TheWolf. I didn’t want to grab a gallon assuming it could fight the Corona and put people’s health at risk.  Sounds like a great product to keep around the house/kitchen.  My wife goes crazy with other disinfectants and wipes everything with them.  Only thing is she doesn’t realize that it can take the finish off of several types of surfaces.  This new Adams HSC seems like a great safe alternative.

Sorry for the delayed reply.  I was not involved in the development of this product, so I needed to reach out to the staff that was.  Following is the response that I received:

We can’t claim that Home Surface Cleaner kills the SARS-CoV-2 / COVID-19 coronavirus.  Benzalkonium chloride is effective against all sorts of germs that would end up on your countertops or in your home.  The Home Surface Cleaner is a stable sanitary cleaner that we’ve had access to for years and it’s just a relevant time for it to be introduced alongside the Hand Sanitizer.  Hopefully this helps explain better why we offered this chemical solution.

Frequent use of sanitary products are important no matter what time of year or what type of current events.

    first pic is throughly cleaned
    second pic is first application
    third pic is second application

I hope this lasts because I hate doing wheels and tires. And this was not a fun process!
