Welcome back, Tyler! Watching the edges is always a good practice, regardless if it's new or old paint. Here's a video that should help walk you through most of the process. That said, be sure to ask any more questions you have, we're here to help!.

Firs I just want to say I am a long time Adam's user.  I remember when his product line was Detail Spray, Swirl & Haze Remover, Buttery Wax Undercarriage Spray and a few different types of Micro Fiber towels.  I also was always a polish and wax type of detailer.  Old school I guess.  Well about a year ago I decide to try the Ceramic Spray coating because I knew I could remove it a lot easier then the full 3-5 year coating.  I will admit I was a little skeptical but went for it any way.  Now this was Adam's first Ceramic Spray coating that came in the kit of Surface Prep, Ceramic Coating and Boost.  It was shortly after that the UV version was released.    Well that application is almost a year old so I decide to strip it off and apply a new coat using the UV spray.  Well I believe they said it was the say as the original except for the UV feature.  If it I may have not done some thing correct the first time because this seem so much better.
First off the car spend a lot of time in the garage cover and especially now with COVID it seems to see even more down time.  So the car was clean under the cover, but I decided to clay bar the surface first, then I used the One Step polish and One step pad.  I did about half the car the first day stating with the hood.  Later that night I went out to the garage and noticed the the hood seemed clouded it wiped right off and had the shine that was there earlier.  The next day I went out hoping to finish and apply the ceramic coating, but the hood was all hazed up again.  It still wiped off, but I was concerned if I applied the ceramic would it haze up under the ceramic.  I decided to seek some help on the forum.  I waited a hour to see if I would get any advice, but finally decided to try the standard white polish and white pad.  That did the trick and the hazing issue was gone.  Turns out falcaineer replied and suggested the White pad and polish.
So after completing the full polish/paint correct I was ready to start the ceramic coating process.  I wiped the car down completely with the Surface Prep,  Then I started with the hood applying the UV Ceramic Spray Coating half the hood waiting the 1-2 minutes before removing.  Followed this procedure for the entire car.  This was Wednesday so I knew I need to let it cure before adding the boost, so I let actually sit until today tp apply the boost.  I finished it around 11 am today and then backed it out to get a few pictures.  So here is the finished product:  Yes I guess I am a little anal as I also did the door jambs.

We sealed the 20 year old asphalt driveway for the last time. This was after the first coating. Second coating only took one more bucket. Yes I know there are cracks and we did not fill them. The driveway just has to make it through the winter.

Next year we’re replacing it. Were we to be staying here much longer we’d probably go concrete but since illinois is turning into a never ending 💩 show we plan to be out of here when the girls graduate high school in five years. We may also bail after next year but that remains to be seen.

Be sure you have good lighting too.  Good lighting will really help you find any blemishes or small scratches that you don't normally see.  If you see them.......then I'd polish before adding anything else.

In August 2019, I put Ceramic Spray Coating on this picket and while it has had regular maintenance, I was going to redo it this weekend.  After a looking at the truck this morning, I decided that I would do a good wash, touch up a few spots and a fresh layer of Slick & Slide.

After Christmas a few new items that I'm pretty confident are being added to the truck, we'll strip it down and do a wheels off recoat with Graphene.

In the background you can see one of my dogwood trees that have changed colors - to brown.

    Hello,

Newbe to the Forum, but not to Adams Polishes.

Just bought a brand new Honda CR-V, so I wanted to get it protected with Graphene.

Read the kit's instructions and watched Joe's video, but... I totally missed using the gray polishing cloth.

I applied and then used the gray silk cloth only

    Opps...

But, after posting in the forum, I quickly learned about my rookie mistake.

    And how to fix it.

    Thanks falcaineer.

The SS got a bath last night. Adam’s Wash and Wax plus many MF wash pads in the bucket. CS3 was used as a drying aid. 😍❤️😘

Let me announce it here for the world: I will never ever have a black vehicle again...NEVER!

Also discovered my cheap electric power washer is a complete POS. 1 year of use and it’s dying.     TIme to do a few side details to get some $$ for a legitimate power washer, foam cannon, etc.

For my engine bay I hit it with waterless wash every time I wash my SUV. I even get in there with q-tips in the slots on the air filter box and intake tubes. I don't dress but it does keep it clean enough so each washing is really just a touch-up.

This is my first black car and man am I glad I found Adam's to keep it looking good. I used the ceramic spray coating and I use the CS3 in between washes. I haven't tried the ceramic boost yet, guess that's more money spent! 🤑

    Hi Daniel,
Since this is a Adam's forum, we'll only be discussing Adam's products.     Let's start with Ceramic Spray Coating and UV Ceramic Spray Coating.  These are equal products, one has the UV capability to make it easier to see the application.  You need to have a special light, sold separately on Adam's site, to get the benefit of the glow technology.  I've found the UV to be a good selling point with clients to show the coating is applied.  I keep the regular Ceramic Spray Coating and UV in stock and use the one that I think is being for the marketing required.  On my personal vehicles, children's and their spouses, they almost all have the regular CSC.  One family vehicle has the UV since I test everything before it goes on a clients vehicle.

We have a mix of a garage queen, garaged daily drivers and pure outside daily drivers, plus a few driveway queens - those are the ones that sit in the driveway, but are rarely driven.    Starts with my wife's garage queen, it gets wash using a two bucket wash and lambskin wash mitt about once a month.    It is maintained 100% with Adam's products and I only use the best on her vehicle as @falcaineer can attest to. The vehicle is ceramic spray coated and kept immaculate about once a week, I treat the vehicle to either a Ceramic Waterless Wash or CS3.  The Ceramic Waterless Wash came before CS3 and I bought a gallon, it works great and makes for an excellent drying aid after a wash.  Given how good CS3, I doubt I'll buy another gallon of CWW unless the sale is exceptionally good.

For CS3, this is my go to for topping Ceramic coated vehicles after a wash that gets washed every couple of weeks.  The about once a month the vehicle gets Ceramic Boost as a drying aid.  I do not put CB on a vehicle using the dry method unless the weather doesn't permit it.  Then I use a moist method which is a couple of light sprays of purified water on the towel, then a spray of CB on the vehicle.  A little CB goes a long way and the biggest complication is when people use too much, then it tends to streak and the pure dry method can also streak according to your climate.

For the Ceramic Side of the house, my recommendation is Adam's Ceramic Spray Coating, CS3 for doing waterless washes and for a drying aid after a regular wash.  The exception is ever 4 to 6 weeks according to your vehicle usage and climate to use Ceramic Boost in lieu of CS3.   Unless you are challenged with seeing where you have applied the Ceramic Spray Coating or are doing vehicles for clients, you don't need the UV variant.  It is a personal choice and is no harm if you choose to us it for your annual to semi-annual strip, polish and coating routine.

I have one and only one place that I use H20 and while I know it has ceramic properties that is not why I use it. I use H20 in lieu of ceramic coating on pure white vehicles or ones with the Pearl white color.  I don't know what it is about the properties of H20 and the white vehicles, but I have found nothing that can compare to it for making a while vehicle look absolutely beautiful.

I hope this helps on your quest to get the optimal Adam's products for your vehicles and usage characteristics.
