  1. @SC RonI see that you are on South Carolina - If you are close the Columbia/Lexington area, I can help you out on the adjustments and chemicals if needed. Almost, most of the bigger Chevy dealers in SC carry Brilliant Glaze along with a few other standard Adam's products.
  2. That is what makes staying up north such a pain, I have to put on a hooded jacket sometimes, but my wife never wears socks. This will be the first time in 29 years that the wife I have not been in Florida for Thanksgiving. We know it has been 29 years since our second daughter's 30th birthday is on the 26th and we didn't go the year she was born. However, the chef is hosting Thanksgiving in Columbia, SC, so I have no doubt we'll eat well.
  3. I use mine in the driveway, garage and house and I can tell you that on the tile floor it will slide easily. I have not had any problems elsewhere.
  4. We'd like to extend our warm thanks and well wishes to all the other Veteran's. Ray & Mary - USCG
  5. Hi @PJM what @Dan@Adams described is exactly what I did on my first test panel and the results were the same as yours, it looked good, it just didn't last. On my second test panel I let the product sit much longer and the results were excellent. The humidity can have a big difference in the time required. The temps and humidity can be all over the place in South Carolina, so I usually do a small section behind the rear wheels and make sure it gets tacky and mark the time. This gives me a good indication of how long I need to let each panel sit before wiping it down.
  6. Hi Troy, I have had this happen a couple of times on my Dark Red vehicles, but have not noticed it on the light colored ones. I have found that I reduce the chances by using two separate towels. Using the hood as example, I'll use the Graphene Detail Spray with a light spray on the entire hood. Wipe it down with the towel, flip the towel and wipe it down again and then taking a clean separate towel go over it one more time. I'll admit that I am not so sure that it is really the clean dry towel as much as it is going over each panel three times to make sure I didn't miss a spot. I use the same technique with CS3, Slick and Slide, Spray Wax and a few other products and rarely, if ever do I get streaking or high spots. Of note, Ceramic Boost is a different animal to deal with, but the same technique with a bottle of water to mist high spots or streaks helps there.
  7. Hi Troy, Check around to see if any of the touchless wash places in your area have the rinse only option. I remember a couple from years back that had a light wash, rinse only, but also offered the under carriage spray. With the light wash, rinse and under carriage, you would be getting the majority of the salt and brine off the vehicle while adding minimal chemicals to it. You might also want to check to see if any of the Pay & Spray locations offer a heated bay. If they do, you can rinse the vehicle to get the majority of the grime off and then use Waterless Ceramic Wash, Rinseless Wash or CS3 to complete the cleanup. The one Pay & Spray near me that offers a heated bay was $2 for 15 minutes the last time I used it.
  8. Welcome to the Forum George. There are multiple other Florida members on the forum and most years, I get to spend plenty of time in Florida.
  9. Hi Brandon, You can use Leather Conditioner on the boots, especially if they need to get some moisture back into them. Doing 2 or 3 thin coats over a period of a week will give them a nice even appearance and put some moisture back in them. If you are going to add a waterproofing agent afterwards, ensure they have dried for a couple of days in a nice warm place in your house.
  10. Welcome to the forum. My recommendation would be to not put anything the vehicle that would touch the body surface for 24 hours. With the amount of effort that goes into putting a coating on the vehicle, the last thing that I would want to happen is a mark from a cover that rubs before it is fully cured. A pine needle or a leaf falling on it when partially cured is far less of a concern than a cover rubbing in the breeze.
  11. In August 2019, I put Ceramic Spray Coating on this picket and while it has had regular maintenance, I was going to redo it this weekend. After a looking at the truck this morning, I decided that I would do a good wash, touch up a few spots and a fresh layer of Slick & Slide. After Christmas a few new items that I'm pretty confident are being added to the truck, we'll strip it down and do a wheels off recoat with Graphene. In the background you can see one of my dogwood trees that have changed colors - to brown.
  12. Hi Jimmy, Generally, if you can catch a finger nail on it, it is too deep to take out with a Swirl Killer.
  13. I'll play, here is how fall looks out the back door and how the truck looks with the fall colors behind it. The leaves have turned brown and started to fall off the dogwoods, so the maple trees shouldn't be too far behind. The one thing I do miss about being in the south is that leaves usually just turn brown and fall off, no real colors like you get up north or in the mountains.
  14. Welcome to the Forum Derek. The Toy looks great and being Red, of course I'm a fan. It looks like you have an excellent start on your Adam's products. With this being a forum about Adam's products I won't name other products, but I can say that I used to use a very good leather conditioner that wasn't Adam's. Then I received a bottle of Adam's Leather Conditioner in a mystery box and have used nothing else since then. It not only does an excellent job at conditioning the leather, it has the best smell of any leather conditioner that I've ever used. If you get an opportunity pick up a bottle of the Adam's Leather Conditioner, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised like I was, especially since you are in a heat and sun environment like I am in South Carolina.
  15. I wonder why that dumpster had such a dislike for Camaro's. At the least the insurance company shouldn't have any questions with the evidence you have.
