RayS got a reaction from Cory M in What did you do today?
Corrected the lights on a motorhome so the owner could see a bit better at night.

RayS got a reaction from Norton in looking for adams leather conditioner. not spray stuff
I agree with Steve on this one, I'm sure glad that I have a few bottles of the traditional Leather Conditioner. I tried the spray and can rate it as good, but not at the same level of the original.
In particular I find that the original is easier to use to get a neglected vehicle, seats and dash, back into a uniform condition using the original on Adam's Premium Dressing Applicators.

RayS reacted to TR6speed in Graphene Boost Results
I received my Graphene Boost just a few days ago and I must say it sure made the paint pop. So, seeing I applied a coat of the Advanced Graphene Spray about 3-4 months ago now this, I will go back to my original routine, which is if the car has some minor dirt on it, I use the Graphene CS3 and in between or at a car show or cruise in I use the Graphene Detail spray. The car does get driven, but it is not a daily driver, so it does not need a full-on wash and dry often. So my real question is how often or what is the time recommended between coats of the boost?
Here are a few pictures of the car after applying the boost and at a few events since it was done. Sorry but the car was in the garage because it is about to rain.

RayS reacted to TR6speed in Graphene Ceramic Boost in Florida
Yes, I did it early morning with two towels and it worked fine. It did really make the shine pop. I would think that I would not need to use it for a few months correct as long as I continue with either the Graphene Detail Spray or the Graphene CS3 for my normal cleanups.

RayS got a reaction from TR6speed in Graphene Ceramic Boost in Florida
Hi Jack,
Whether I'm in South Carolina or in Florida during the warm and humid season, I use two or three towels according to the size of the vehicle. I also found that if I have the vehicle in the garage or in the shade then I'm good up until mid morning. What seems to matter the most if the temperature of the body panels.
I also pay more attention to the heat index as the combination of high heat and high humidity causes more issues than just one side. When the heat index gets to be more than 15 degrees above the ambient temp, it is time to put the Graphene and Ceramic products away to prevent excessive time dealing with steaking or spotting.

RayS got a reaction from Bscott94 in Tire and rubber cleaner leakage
I had the same problem for a while and found that if I always ensured that the sprayers were set to the Off position it eliminated 90% of the problem. There were also some sprayers sent out during the supply problems that were below the normal Adam's quality level and I have since eliminated them. If you have of the ones that easily swivel and just feel unstable, then if you get large changes in barometric pressure.
In addition, I've found a couple bottles need to be kept in a climate controlled area to completely eliminate the dripping, Tire Shine is at the top of the list, followed by Spray Wax.

RayS reacted to galaxy in Continental DWS06 and DWS06 tire dressing issues.
Weeellll, bit of an old thread, but worthy of an update. As much as I hated my blotchy tires, decided to roll the dice on another set. Either got lucky or Conti listened. This set has perfect sidewalls. No blotchy finish or crap that won’t clean off. Clean up and dress perfectly.

RayS got a reaction from falcaineer in Mitch
Hi Mitch,
First welcome to the Forum and don't forget for post an official intro.
I have not heard of anyone being told that there is a problem with a Adam's Tire and Wheel Cleaner and brake rotors. If that were the case, then I would not expect the Adam's products to sold at most Chevy Dealers. What also stands out is that it is only one of your rotors and pads, if it was the Adam's Tire and Wheel cleaner, then it should be affecting all of them. I'll note that I have not yet dealt with the 2023 version of the Ceramic Brake Rotors if you had that option put on the C8. In my opinion if only one rotor is affected and do you not have staining on the wheel which would indicate you did not rinse it off, then it is most likely a defective part.

RayS got a reaction from falcaineer in What Did You Wash, Shine, and or Polish Today
It has had been a while since the wife's garage queen had gotten my attention for a weekend. I washed on Friday and spent Saturday and Sunday polishing it and then putting on a Graphene coating and today was spent on interior. It's going to get a set of Pirelli Scorpion Plus 3 tires this week and then I'll coat the wheels and do the wheel wells while they are off.

RayS got a reaction from chops1sc in Our new camper!
Hi Chris,
Nice camper. I will recommend two items that work great on the camper, H20 Guard & Gloss or Wash & Wax. Personally, I prefer the H20, but the Wash & Wash is easier to deal with. Either way the Red Car Wash Wedge is a must have for campers or motor homes.
Enjoy the new camper.

RayS reacted to galaxy in Not getting any rainbow or tackiness...Adam's Advanced Graphene Ceramic Coating
Yes, as stated, the test is not with a glove or your finger, but how a towel drags across it. How does it rub (or not rub) off? If you're letting it sit for 10+ minutes, you also probably need to be going back over it and looking for high spots. that's quite a chunk of time. It's working, you're just not catching it.

RayS got a reaction from snovvman in Confusion between graphene Detail Spray and CS3
The regular detail spray is used when you need to Polish or Clay a vehicle, not only does it smell good, it is very effective and less expensive than CS3 or Graphene Detail Spray.
If your vehicle is Graphene Coated and has sat in the garage for a week and just needs a little dust knocked off it, then the Graphene Detail Spray is ideal. It is not only less expensive than CS3, it also leaves a wet look.
If the vehicle has been out and about or sitting for a month in the garage, then you need something with cleaning properties and CS3 is ideal.

I agree with you about the scent of WW, but the CS3 isn't too bad. I couldn't put my finger on it, though. Lunch sounds like a great idea!

RayS got a reaction from chops1sc in Finally tried CS3....
Hi Chris,
CS3 quickly became one of my regular items to use and always goes in my travel bag with as versatile as it is. While I prefer the smell of the regular waterless wash, it is no match for capabilities of CS3.
One of these days we need to meet up at my daughters restaurant for lunch, it is near the southern gate of Fort Jackson, so it is a straight run across 378 from Sumter, less than 45 minutes from the main gate at Shaw. It takes me about 30 minutes to get to her place and lunch would be on me.

RayS got a reaction from Captain Slow in What Did You Wash, Shine, and or Polish Today
The son-in-law had to be at Sumter AFB for the weekend, so the Mazda was left at my house and got some much needed attention. It also pointed out that I need todo some some light research on what I installed in m garage. I have 5000k LED's in the garage and it is pretty obvious that the difference between their light and nature light is substantial.

Now that winter has buggered off and spring has sprung I decided to turn my grey Chevy SS back to black. I used Adam’s Rinseless Wash in an iK sprayer for a foaming presoak then Rinseless washed with multiple MF towels in a bucket. Each panel was dried then given a spritz of Adam’s Graphene Detail Spray. All exterior glass also was treated to the Graphene Detail Spray. Tires and wheels cleaned with Adam’s Wheel and Tire cleaner, rinsed then dried. Again I used Adam’s Graphene Detail Spray for the wheels and Adam’s Graphene Tire Dressing on the Pilot Sports. Door jambs and WeatherTech mats were also cleaned with Adam’s Rinseless Wash. We really didn’t have much of a winter here. We had a snowstorm in December and that was pretty much it for the season so the door jambs and mats weren’t too soiled as they would have been if we’d had a typical winter.
Tomorrow I’m ushering the early Easter Service, attending the 8 o’clock service then listening to my wife and youngest daughter sing with the choir at the 9:30 Service. After dinner with mom, my brother and my family I’ll clean the wife’s Beast. Busy weekend for me, so much for a restful weekend. 😀
